Formula One Autocentres - Ashford Omdömen 

My daughters exhaust came loose and she was worried how she would get to work the next day spoke to Kyle in Ashford at 5.30pm and he clipped it back up and we were gone in 10 minutes absolute life saver. Any issues you should go there.

My usual garage where temporarily unable to do MOT’s due to technical reasons so I took my Honda Jazz to the Formula One Autocentre in Ashford. They failed it and said that the rear wheel bearing needed replacing on the drivers side. Regrettably, I had no alternative but to have it replaced which cost me £141. When they told me this I was astounded as my car has only got 52,000 miles on the clock and I only did a 1000 miles last year. I don’t drive over rough terrain and statistically an average life of a wheel bearing should be about 100,000 miles. I certainly won’t be using this garage again as they obviously make money out of failing MOT’s for spurious reasons.

Carl is a great guy. I’m happy with the service he provided whilst my car servicing day. Good customer service and prompt to help resolve the issues he suggested for my car. I came back today as I’m writing this review while the wheel locking nuts being changed. Thank you Carl and the team.

Came in for a tyre replacement which I had booked in for 2pm. I arrived 20 mins early, however I expect to be seen any earlier. I was told the car would be seen at 2pm and would be ready by around 2:30pm.

However at 2:45pm the car was still in the car park. By 3:15pm the wheels were finally off and the colleague changing the tyres, however there is no urgency to get anything done.

When I asked why it was so long, the manager described he was having problems with his staff member slacking and doesn’t know why he takes so long.

This was a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Keeping the customer informed and managing their expectations goes a long way.

Update;

I had a call from the area manager to apologise for the service. Although it can’t fix it, the acknowledgement goes along way.

Scratched the alloy wheel changing a tyre and denied anything. I know the rim was perfect as I took the wheel off myself and delivered it to the depot to put the tyre on. Poor customer service.

I called into the Ashford branch with a flat tyre on my van. It was looked at immediately and repaired at no cost!!! When does that ever happen! It was a perished tyre valve not a puncture, I was so so grateful for their honesty, I can’t thank them enough!

Very pleased with the price of my recent MOT and the speed in getting it done.

This branch will not fit a tyre to a wheel because they say they do not know where the wheel is from.....but they took it off my car a month ago when they fitted a new tyre for me! They say their insurers will not allow them to do it. So I took it round the corner and no problem; they said i'm about the 12th they've had and that Formula 1 just want you to buy a new tyre from them. Well, Formula 1 have lost another customer! They have suggested I contact their customer care team which is a standard reply from they. Why would I give them the opportunity to stress me out again?!!!

Quite honestly some of the best customer service I have ever received. From promptly answering the phone to a swift collection the manager was faultless.

Everything was fully explained and the price options were made clear.

From calling to book in to collection was under three hours. Don’t be put off by how it used to be managed- it’s a different place now.

I just want to say a MASSIVE Thank You to Aymen for going above and beyond this evening (Friday 28th June 2024) when I found a screw had gone into my tyre, it was 5:47 when I arrived and rather than saying he could not do as he was closing he changed my tyre. I truly appreciate the amazing service

As I said in a previous entry, due to the excellent customer service from Eamon, I then booked my wife's car for an air conditioning regas. Despite problems (not due to Formula One), Eamon still arranged to sort it out after I had bought a replacement part. I will certainly use the Ashford branch again. Many thanks.

Popped in here late Thursday evening to have my exhaust checked because it was blowing. The staff could not have been more helpful. Identifed what I needed and I was back in 8.30 the next morning to have my new exhaust fitted. Excellent service. Well recommended.

I have finally found a fantastic, reliable garage. I can not praise the guys enough. I have used them a few times now and will continue to use them. They couldn't of been more helpful, and the tyres they recommended were so good that I've had all four done now. Lovely friendly, honest and exceptionally hard working place.
