Chris in Fonthill made the experience easy and enjoyable
We were shopping for a corner sofa and needed very specific dimensions. Chris in the Fonthill store was very helpful and accomodating. He helped us choose what style would suit and even suggested decorative cushions. His easy personality and non-pushy style made the whole experience a pleasure. Will be back to upgrade other rooms.

Don't buy from EZ Living Fonthill
I had already left a review about my experience with EZ Living because of delayed deliveries, broken promises, poor communication, and the amount of time I had to spend following up. It took three emails and multiple phone calls before customer service eventually offered me a goodwill voucher as compensation.
Unfortunately, another issue has now come to light. As someone who was new to the country and investing in furnishing my home, I wasn't aware that furniture insurance was something I needed to arrange at the time of purchase. The sales manager never mentioned this option during the sale, despite discussing delivery and making promises about timelines. When I spoke to him today, he admitted that he had not mentioned the insurance and said, "That's my mistake." I have since been told that because the furniture was delivered over the past few weeks, I can no longer add insurance through EZ Living, even though part of my order is still outstanding.
What made this even more disappointing was that, instead of focusing on resolving the issue, the manager asked me to remove my previous review and suggested that my account of what happened was not accurate. I found this unprofessional and upsetting, especially when my review was based on my genuine experience.
Overall, my experience with EZ Living has been frustrating from start to finish. Between missed delivery commitments, repeated communication issues, the lack of information about furniture insurance, and the way my concerns have been handled, I have been left feeling disappointed. I hope the company improves both its customer communication and the support it provides after a sale.

We acknowledge the concerns you have raised around delayed deliveries, missed expectations, communication, the information provided about furniture insurance, and the way your concerns were subsequently handled.
We appreciate that purchasing and furnishing a home is a significant investment, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to have to make repeated phone calls and send several emails simply to receive updates and reach a resolution.
We are also sorry to hear about your experience regarding the furniture insurance.
We understand from your review that you were not aware this was an option available to you at the time of purchase and that, when you subsequently raised this with the sales manager, they acknowledged that the option had not been discussed.
We appreciate why this would have been disappointing, particularly as you were relying on our team to provide you with the relevant information and guidance during the sales process.
We also recognise your concerns about being advised that insurance could no longer be added after delivery, particularly when part of your order remains outstanding. We appreciate that, from your perspective, this has created an understandably frustrating situation, and we are sorry that you have been left feeling that your options are limited.
Most importantly, we are disappointed to hear that you felt your previous review was challenged rather than your concerns being listened to and addressed.
We absolutely understand that a customer should be able to share their genuine experience, whether that experience is positive or negative.
We respect your right to leave honest feedback, and we are sorry that your interaction with the manager left you feeling that your account of events was being questioned or that you were being encouraged to remove your review.
That is clearly not the experience we want any customer to have when raising a concern.
While we are pleased that our customer service team ultimately offered a goodwill voucher following your previous complaints, we recognise that compensation does not undo the time, effort and frustration involved in having to repeatedly follow up in the first place. We should always aim to resolve issues efficiently and communicate clearly, rather than leaving customers feeling that they have to chase us for answers.
We take the points you have raised seriously and will ensure that your feedback regarding the sales process, delivery communication, insurance information and the handling of customer reviews is shared with the relevant teams. Feedback such as this is important in helping us identify where our processes and customer communication need to improve.
We would also welcome the opportunity to look into your specific order again, including the outstanding items and the concerns you have raised regarding insurance. If you are willing to contact our customer service team with your order details, we would like to review the circumstances fully and see what further assistance we can provide.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the frustration and disappointment caused throughout your experience. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and hope we can have the opportunity to address your outstanding concerns more positively.

A good place to buy furniture.
The choice of furniture. The fact that it is Irish owned.
The staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. Our sales assistant was particularly helpful.
The prices were good value and although we only want a coffee table, our assistant couldn't have been more helpful.
