We had booked a day trip covering Windsor, Oxford, and Stonehenge. Our Guide, Miss Ursula, was great and guided us very clearly through the Windsor Castle. Unfortunately, our journey was cut short due to an unexpected accident that left our bus delayed for nearly 7 hours. As a result, we were only able to visit Windsor Castle.

Despite the situation, our experience was made much better thanks to our wonderful guide, Miss Ursula, and our driver, Corey. They handled everything calmly and professionally, keeping us informed and making the best out of a difficult situation.

We also truly appreciated the prompt response and support. They were understanding of the circumstances and provided a partial refund, including unused tickets and travel costs, which we found very fair.

While the trip didn’t go as originally planned, the excellent service and professionalism shown throughout made a strong positive impression. Thank you to the entire team!

HORRRRRIIIBBBLLEE. Their instructions are unclear and when we arrived ON TIME and called them they said the bus left 5 minutes early and then refused to give a refund. Terrible customer service representatives who were extremely rude and unhelpful.

What a wonderful experience with Evan Evans. We booked day tour to Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, Cotswolds and Oxford. Our tour guide Cameron was very knowledgeable, clearly speaking and shared interesting facts. My favourite one was about Brasenose college and the related politicians. But not only, Cameron had stories about English sayings, loads of history stories and he really made the touring exceptional. Our driver was Ahmed, who was very kind and skillful. He kept us all safe and returned us back to London. Overall highly recommended trip and please do ask for Cameron and Ahmed. You are guaranteed an amazing day! Thank you Cameron and Ahmed!

Today we did the afternoon tea bus with Evan Evans Tours. Amazing experience and I would definitely recommend! James our guide was amazing so informative, approachable and friendly. Ashanti and Gabriel made our experience so special with their amazing work! So friendly and helpful. Overall amazing experience!

There was a lot to see on the trip. Our guide Saul told us about the places in a very interesting way. He was also very nice and caring.

We had a very disappointing experience with Evans Evans Tours on 25 September. After waiting outside for 30 minutes, we had to approach the office ourselves—only to be told we were at the wrong location. We had informed them we were running late and arrived at the terminal just 7 minutes past the scheduled time, but the bus had already left. It seems the staff failed to pass on our message, and as a result, we missed the entire tour. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be booking with Evans Evans again.

Today on the 12th of September we had an awesome experience of visiting Oxford and Cambridge with our guide Yun Bai. We are thankful to her for her very extensive knowledge of the objects either architectural, cultural or historical.
We have already had few tours to Oxford before, so we didn't expect something extraordinary from today's visit. But what we have come to conclusion after the day's experience that afterall today's tour was the best of all so far. Thank you Yun Bai and thanks Evan Evans for this experience.

Phil our tour guide could not have been more informative friendly and helpful. He's is very educated on British history and British architecture. I will absolutely recommend this tour company and Phil to all my friends and family in the USA 🇺🇸. Had the best time ever. Thanks

Yesterday, August 30, 2025, I purchased four tickets for the Harry Potter studio tour with a bus transfer from Vittoria. As soon as we arrived, we exited the bus and went to the ticket office to convert the QR code into tickets. The ticket office told us we had to exchange the tickets on the bus. We returned to the bus and the Evan Evans hostess told us she had given them to us. But that wasn't true; she didn't give us the tickets. Finally, after wasting 30 minutes arguing, we managed to get in. The hostess was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. It was truly awful. She was very rude and impolite. I will never buy Evan Evans again.

Terrible, terrible experience! If you’re thinking of booking a tour from here, think again. They left Stonehenge without picking us up. You can never reach the guide or the driver. Our belongings were left on the bus, and it’s been two days with no response! We were completely stranded at Stonehenge. We had to make our own way back to London using buses and trains, which cost us an extra £90. They said they wouldn’t cover this cost. And to make matters worse, we still haven’t heard anything about the belongings we left on the bus!

Awful experience! Stay away from this company!

We did the Inner/outer Stonehenge Circle/ Windsor tour with Guide- Cameron and driver - Zohier.
We had an excellent experience- Cameron was very friendly, funny and informative- Zohier was an excellent driver and friendly as well! Highly recommend- we enjoyed the Pimm lemonade, Cameron recommended- both by pitcher and by glass! Delightful!

Phil was absolutely amazing he made this tour very enjoyable and fascinating!!!

AVOID EVAN EVANS TOURS! Left late for St Paul's, "Oh, they don't open until 2pm." Bad traffic, upon arrival tour guide said, "Line too long, we'll skip." Paid 230GBP for 2, waste of money, got nothing, not even entry to St Paul's. Asked 2x via email & once in person for refund, finally replied 3 days later, "No refund, we can't control St Paul's schedule." Other tours like Viator have ample communication, but Evan Evans is THE WORST, save your money and tour on your own.

Our “good time facilitator”Cameron and skilled driver Jake made our trip to Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral, and the Dover White Cliffs such a fun and pleasant experience! Extras such as being given the meaning behind commonly used words or phrases and the use of Shakespeare’s monologues when testing audio sets were joyful touches. The tour stops were equal parts lovely and interesting. The tour was efficiently run. Highly recommend this tour and this company.

Evans and Evans employs dangerous drivers.

At 1.00pm 23 May 2025 on Walton Street Knightsbridge, their coach driver EE22 SYM drove straight through a red light on a pedestrian crossing.

The green man had been displayed for 5 seconds already, and people were starting to cross. An old lady was nearly hit.

The fact that Evans and Evans employ drivers like this means they don't take safety seriously at all. I would NEVER trust them to do a tour.

Evan Evans have many positive reviews but when things go wrong they seem to have no idea how to handle it.
We were on the bus trip to ABBA Voyage. Due to a technical problem at the earlier performance a replacement bus had to be used. This left at 18.30 (45 minutes late) but according to Maps the journey would take 50 minutes so we should have arrived in plenty of time for the 19.45 start. The bus was very uncomfortable as it was far too hot. At one point I checked Maps and we were 20 minutes away. 10 minutes later we were 27 minutes away!? The driver obviously didn’t know the way and for the next 10 minutes or so we didn’t seem to be getting any closer! It then became apparent we were not going to get there in time for the start of the show. A passenger collapsed and was lying in the aisle for the rest of the journey. There was a tour guide on the bus but at no point did he speak to us passengers to let us know what was happening or to apologise! Eventually we did get to the Arena but had missed 20 minutes of the show! It also took at least another 10 minutes to recover from our traumatic journey.
Evan Evans completely ruined our weekend!
