Tried essie ballet slippers with strong start base coat. Polish so thin, never seen a nail varnish that looks like water in the bottle when tipping it sideways. Put 2 thin coats and streaky, awful. Don't think 10 thin coats would even this out. Will use base coat and top coat as will do as no colour but will revert to usual nail polishes which are cheaper. Total disappointment and wished I'd read other reviews before wasting my money!

I was dissatisfied with the product. Price was fairly expensive for a nail polish that chipped daily. Polish cost 12/14$. I could have purchased a cheap polish instead. The colors are nice but the wear is less than subpar. Won’t purchase again

Incredibly disappointed in Essie's new nail polishes lately. For how expensive they are, they shouldn't STAIN YOUR HANDS after removing it with polish remover...

The new expressie line in color 505 is horrible, my fingers and palms are still stained. I have never been more disappointed in a polish in my life.

Thought i would try the New glass nail polish having read some reviews on the colour CinCin and I was not disappointed this colour is like juicy fruit an gorgeous glassy shine absolutely love it

Efter at have brugt Essie neglelak i mange mange år undrer det mig meget at de sidste par år er det blevet helt utroligt dårlig. Absolut ikke dækkende og holder max et par timer uanset hvad man gør 😡

Essen Break Fix ist wirklich eine Rettung für geschädigte Nägel. Es wirkt wie ein flüssiges Pflaster und erfüllt seine Aufgabe schnell und zuverlässig. Tipp: Am besten anschließend mit Nagellack versiegeln, so hält das Ergebnis besonders lange.

Ik schrijf eigenlijk nooit reviews maar ik vind dat ik voor deze nagellak, Essie Gel Couture, een uitzondering moet maken. In 1 woord: fantastisch! Na 1,5 week zit het er nog beter op dan met andere nagellak na een halve dag! Ik kan niet zo goed nagels lakken en baal er altijd van dat deze altijd maar zo kort blijft zitten, maar dus niet met deze. Ik heb de rode kleur ‘Rock the runway’ als eerste gebruikt. Lekkere ‘dikke’ lak die zelfs ik er fatsoenlijk opkrijg. 1 minuut gedroogd en daarna nog 1 laag gedaan, al hoefde het eigenlijk niet eens. Weer 1 minuut gedroogd en daarna de 2e stap, de glanzende top laag gebruikt. Weer een minuut laten drogen en daarna 1,5 uur een film gekeken en verder laten drogen (voor de zekerheid). Dit helpt normaal bij andere nagellakken niet eens, tóch stukjes eraf als ik daarna iets doe. Nu na 1,5 week ga ik weer lakken met deze Essie, niet omdat het echt moet maar omdat ik ‘uitgroei’ bij mijn nagelriemen heb! Echt jammer dat ik geen foto’s kan plaatsen!

Nach entfernen des Lackes bleiben die Nagelplatten verfärbt. Auf Nachfrage beim Unternehmen, gibt es nur fadenscheinige Antworten, die dem Kunden unterstellen nicht zu wissen wie man ablackiert. Auf wiederholtem Kontakt, das ich mein Geld zurück möchte und eine Lösung, denn ich weiss ja nicht, ob das so gesund ist, kam nur, daß ich es dort reklamieren soll, wo ich es gekauft hätte. Sorry, aber so geht weder gute Qualität, noch guter Kundenservice. Ich bin tief enttäuscht, dachte endlich einen guten Lack gefunden zu haben, aber nun suche ich halt weiter

Very bad experience not recommend low service

Ich bin total enttäuscht vom Essie Nagelack. Ich habe gedacht, wenn ich einen teuren Nagellack kaufe, habe ich auch Qualität. Pustekuchen! Einmal aufgetragen und ewig trocknen lassen. Dann beim zweiten Mal Auftragen nochmals ewig gewartet. Das Resultat ist echt enttäuschend. Der Lack trocknet einfach nicht. Die Nägel sehen danach schrecklich aus mit Abplatzern und Abdrücken. Ich kaufe ihn nie wieder. Für mich ist das rausgeworfenes Geld, und ich weiß nicht, wie man so einen Hype um diesen völlig überteuerten Lack machen kann.

After deciding to stop having shellac at a salon anymore due to my nails being left brittle and sensitive,I bought the Essie range step 1 and 2. I can honestly say the results are fab. I use the Good as New as a basecoat followed by 2 coats of polish and 1 of the topcoat. Wouldn't use any other brands now. The nude colours are great.

Don't waste your money. I bought two colours and a top coat. The first "colour" looked identical to the top coat....so that was a wasted choice!
The second colour did not cover well, even after two coats. It looked streaky and very unsatisfactory.
BUY ANOTHER BRAND

Essie nail polish is absolute rubbish. Very expensive nail polish which is, in reality, cheap and nasty. It doesn't cover the nail in two coats as advertised. It's patchy, streaks and doesn't dry. It is easily chipped and marked even with the step two coat. I'm surprised that Boots endorse the rubbish.

Leider werden die Fußnägel gelb, dass sich erst wieder rauswachsen muss. Schaut gar nicht schön aus.

Ich hab jetzt meinen lieblings Lack gefunden der für mich passend und gut verträglich ist und musste heute erfahren das es den nicht mehr gibt.

Nice to apply. I did two coats of the Blue then added the top gel coating all as instructed, last night at around 9pm.
it is still quite transparent (will try three coats next time) and now the next morning I can see the top coat is already showing marks and scuffs with minimal activity. Sealed the edges but considering the results after a few hours, I'm doubtful it will last the number of days stated.

Lack trocknet super langsam, selbst der so genannte Expressie, der schnell trocknen soll.
Und jetzt bei der Hitze wird er total flüssig. Läuft quasi nur so über den Nagel.
Ärgere mich total bei dem hohen Preis!

Gel Lack 14 Tage nach 7 Tagen komplett kaputt absolut Betrug.

I love your gel couture!
BUT already when only one third is used it is hard to get polish on the brush because it is way too short.
Really bad custumer service!
