A life-changer for my IBS, let down only by delivery
Enterosgel is a fantastic product, and I can honestly say it's much better than most things I have tried for IBS. It's a simple, unflavoured gel that you mix with water, making it as easy as drinking a normal glass of water.
It has greatly helped with managing my urgency, which has had a massively positive effect on my social life. I no longer have to worry about going to a restaurant and suffering afterwards. While some days are better than others, my overall quality of life has genuinely improved.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the delivery. The package, handled by Evri, arrived slightly squashed. While I understand they are a separate company, the seller's choice of courier is a key part of the overall service and customer experience.

Excellent
I have to say after years of having a bubbly tummy , diarrhoea and generally my stomach just feeling rubbish today I gave this product a go . I had a really bad stomach this morning and was saving enterosgel for my up and coming holiday but thought I’ll give it a try and wow I was so glad I did . My diarrhoea and sickie feeling went away and no horrible pain in my stomach. I will say there is a bit of a gritty kind of texture to the gel when added to water no taste but a bit unpleasant, however I will take that as I felt a bit more normal today. I’m definitely taking on holiday with me and will definitely purchase again. It has worked for me great .

Like many with IBS-D I was hopeful but…
Like many with IBS-D I was hopeful but had mixed results. I tried it 3 x day for 20 days as recommended for chronic IBS. That's 4 tubes so an expensive trial but worth it if it worked. First few days I felt it inside me and it was helping. Then it's as if my body adjusted to it and I ended up having 2 - 3 upset stomach days per week for the rest of the trial, like usual.
I found the tubes difficult to use. They are too flimsy plastic to easily manipulate with one hand over a mug or glass without spilling the gel once you've had a couple of doses out of a tube. I had to use both hands which makes measuring a tbsp accurately really difficult.
I didn't mind the taste or texture, it's like highly mineralised water from a spring or borehole!

We are sorry to hear that Enterosgel wasn't able to help with your IBS-D symptoms, sometimes it takes more than 3 doses to help with severe symptoms. As it says in the Instructions for Use, it you have loose stools you can take up to 6 doses per day as required. Some patients in our recent IBS-D trial took 4-5 doses per day initially and then as their symptoms improved were able to reduce their dose over time to 2-3 doses per day. Although 76% of IBS-D patients find Enterosgel relieves their symptoms, as with all medicines unfortunately it doesn't help everyone.

Eliminating PBDE Endocrine Disruptors
I suffer from hypothyroidism casued by endocrine disruption by PBDE flame retardants. I've preveviously used polydimethylsiloxane to slowly sequestrate and eliminate PBDEs. I've found Enterosgel even better. There is enormous potential for Enterosgel, see PMID: 31952890. I'd be happy to discuss this with a company representative.

I was very eager to try this new treatment for my IBS-D but having using it for awhile now it has done absolutely nothing, it's exactly the same if I do take it or don't. Still passing loose stools, still have terrible gas and intergestion. I was hoping for so much more considering the very expensive price. I'm so disappointed that this didn't work for me and I have tried many medications for my IBS. I guess it's back to antl-diarrhoea meds. At least that option is much much cheaper. I would recommend people give it a go and it seems to help a lot of people but I might as well just not take it at all to be honest.

We are disappointed to hear that Enterosgel wasn't able to help with your IBS-D symptoms. IBS is a complex condition with many possible causes that can be different in each individual. So as you know not all treatments work for all people, and they often try many treatments until they find one that works for them. Enterosgel can be a very effective treatment for many individuals as shown by our recent trial where 76% of patients had relief of their IBS symptoms. We do recommend that people take for at least 3 times per day for 2-3 weeks and then tailor their dose to their symptoms to find the dose that most suits their individual symptoms. Enterosgel is a very effective treatment for IBS with diarrhoea, our recent large clinical trial showed it significantly improved IBS symptoms of diarrhoea, pain, bloating and urgency. You could visit the FAQ section on our website www.enterosgel.co.uk which provides more information for users. The Instructions for Use recommend for chronic diarrhoea (IBS) that you can adjust your dose to your stool consistency and movements, so if you have lots of loose stools take at least 3 doses per day and reduce to one dose if your stool is normal. Enterosgel & Mounjaro ( Diarrhoea side effects)
Enterosgel has helped enormously with the diarrhoea caused as a side effect of using Mounjaro. I've tried just about everything else on the market with no real benefit. The Gel Enterosgel was recommended by the pharmacy & it works!

My son has been suffering with…
My son has been suffering with debilitating symptoms of IBS for a few years now. It had been affecting his attendance to college due to constant stomach cramping and the need to go to the loo urgently. We were given tablets that didn’t really work and are still waiting to be seen by nhs.
I saw the advert and thought we’d give a try. I’d also read up on the nhs pilot and how it was so positive for others. Along with some dietary changes, this has transformed his life! In two months! Started working straight away. Must take at least an hour before food to really work. So happy we found this and it’s lactose free! Unlike the tablets?!?!
He’s off to uni feeling in control. Highly highly recommended

I have suffered with IBS for many years now. Frequency and urgency almost kept me prisoner in my own home. I had tried everything... many different branded 'solutions', none of which worked for long. Then I discovered enterosgel! Oh! My! Days! I cannot thank Enterosgel enough. After just 2 tablespoon sized doses, my 'frequency' of needing to go is down massively. So far, I have had absolutely no urgency issues at all, and 'texture' is about back to non IBS standards. Thank you Enterosgel... you may have just given me my life back

Having suffered with IBS for more than…
Having suffered with IBS for more than 25 years I’ve tried everything. Until I found Enterosgel I was taking upwards of 30 Loperamide a month. Now I take 1 Enterosgel dose each evening and I’m down to 4 or 5 Loperamide for the odd flare up. I also noticed a decrease in urgency with flare ups which again was a huge issue and caused anxiety. I can’t recommend this product enough.

IBS relief
My insides have never been so calm after taking enterosgel in water. Easy to take & tasteless. Drink it on an empty stomach & wait 2hrs before eating or taking any medication, easy as that!

Yes you can take Enterosgel alone for either acute or short-term diarrhoea from tummy bugs or food poisoning, or for IBS with diarrhoea. Enterosgel works differently from other anti-diarrhoeal medications which just slow down the gut movement and should be avoided if you have a gut infection. Enterosgel removes the causative agents of your diarrhoea (bacterial toxins, viruses, inflammatory molecules etc) thereby helping the gut wall to repair and stop being leaky- which relieves the diarrhoea and other associated symptoms. Game changer.
Due to a change in medication, I experienced diarrhoea for 5 days. I am unable to take standard over the counter anti-diarrheal's, due to a heart condition.
I looked online and found Entersogel, I used it this morning and thank goodness it worked exceptionally well.
Not only did it stop the diarrhoea but belly ache and bloating. My advice is to follow the instructions on the side of the box to the letter. I highly recommend this product.
