Energy Pig Heating & Insulation Funding Omdömen 

Great from start to finish! Got heating through the government grant scheme, went from 1 working heater to 9 heaters and hot water on tap. Everything was put back the way it was. Can not thank the guys enough for what they did, was all done in 2 days!

Very satisfied with the work and how professional the guys were .. placed the radiators in a way so my laminate floors would not have to be lifted and cleaned up behind them .. Thanks Kenny, Ian, Robert, Sean and Lewis..

Arash was professional and thorough. He looked for a suspected leak and informed us there was none and what to do if we ever notice anything wrong again.

Initially our experience with Energy Pig was very positive - the installation of the cavity wall insulation and fitting the insulation in the roof space went smoothly.

Beyond that we have a number of issues.

1 - When the installation team looked at our underfloor space, they told us that they couldn’t fit the insulation (as quoted). Not only was this disappointing; it also meant that we were not able to benefit from the Scottish Government Energy grant. This grant should have been used to offset the cost of the roof space insulation. So we are out of pocket.

2 - The trickle vents that were fitted to two of our windows have reduced the effectiveness of our double glazing. Not only have we lost soundproofing, we are also getting draughts through these windows. It seems to me that the vents installed are not fit for purpose - they cannot be opened/closed effectively.

3 - We have not yet received an updated EPC for the work that has been completed.

Overall, we are not satisfied with the service that we have received. At this point, we would not recommend Energy Pig.

The same engineer has serviced my boiler for the past 5 years and I have always been impressed by his quietly efficient and professional conduct. The input from office staff has also been very helpful.

Today I received my yearly boiler service, having previously bought my boiler through Energy Pig. For the last two or three years the same engineer called Arash has attended. He is consistently professional, mild mannered, polite and knowledgeable. Today was no exception he is a credit to the organisation.

Gary Low arrived to do a full survey of the property, he was very prompt considering the traffic, he was very thorough and respectful of the property & our puppy.
He is obviously very professional and passionate about his job.

Gary Low visited our house to complete an insulation survey. He arrived on time, explained what he was going to be doing and the reasons for it. He was respectful of our young children that were about to go for a nap and carried out the noisy work first so as not to disturb them once they were asleep. Gary was able to answer all my questions and explained exactly how the work would be completed. He was a lovely, friendly, professional person and I would recommend energypig based on our experience. Visited by Gary Low for a survey prior to installing wall insulation. He was both friendly and professional, something you rarely find today. Gary explained everything in detail and answered every question satisfactorily. Top marks!!!!

Gary Low was very thorough with the cavity wall inspection, taking time to explain things to me as he went along. Very nice bloke.

A cavity wall survey was undertaken at my home by Gary Low as part of the ECO4 energy grant scheme. Gary was prompt, polite, very thorough and knowledgeable and went the extra mile by answering all my questions with helpful information. He explained the whole process at each stage of the survey and was even considerate enough to ensure that gates and doors were closed to ensure the dog didn't get out. First class customer service!

I found this company excellent in every way. Installing my new heat pump they turned up on time and worked like beavers over three days till it was completed. They were a friendly bunch and on completion they left minimal mess. I did have some issues with the installation for about a week afterwards, but they sent an engineer twice all the way from Glasgow ( I live in Caithness and it's a 10 hour round trip.) in order to get the problem solved. The cause was an issue regarding a faulty pump, a manufacturing rather than an installation fault. I have since been in touch with them via email regarding some documents I required, and I received them promptly. I would highly recommend the company.

Garry Low came to my property to complete the energy survey. He was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. His approach made everything much easier and I was reassured by the quality of his work.
