great choice of beds and good quality and price, and no pressure like other bed shops, clear communication from start to delivery and assembly, would buy from them again

I had a great experience at Elephant Beds thanks to Joe. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He gave honest advice without any pressure, which made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend asking for Joe if you're visiting – top service from start to finish!

Please ant experience buying the bed but there it ended. Appalling communication regarding delivery. I had to phone to check the bed was being delivered! Given a slot 9-11a.m. Nothing.........I rang the shop to be told "oh, probably school traffic causing delays, you're 2nd. I'll find out what's happening and ring you back". It's school holidays! Another hour went by and still no return phone call or delivery. I phoned again to be told "it should arrive today".
Finally at 12.55 the door went and it was my bed. Delivery men were very non committal about times and told me it's always a 4 hour slot.
It's now 13.25 and I'm still waiting for the man in the shop to ring me back.
I will not be going there again! Service has gone drastically downhill since I bought my previous bed there.

We went to Elephant Beds and looked for an extra firm mattress as we would like to support local small business. The shopping experience was good although we only tried one mattress as the Sales staff told us they only have one extra firm mattress. Before we made decision, we asked the staff “Is this mattress made in UK?”, then, he said “Yes”. We were so happy and told him we preferred the mattress made in UK instead of other countries. He said “the mattress will be delivered around three weeks”. Then, we paid the full payment and waited for the delivery.
The mattress was delivered to us just two weeks. During the registration of 10 year warranty, we found the model on the mattress label is different with the invoice and the mattress is not made in UK. We went back to the shop for checking, another sales staff helped us and told us the owner will call us on tomorrow.
We were waiting for the call till 17:00 then we phoned in to the shop as it will be closed at 17:30. The owner said the Sales who served us is working at the company over 14 years, he is an experienced staff. He doesn’t believe the Sales person won’t know where the mattress was made and he stated that it is our word against the sales person’s word. Then, we told him the whole shopping process and suggested him to check the CCTV but he said the CCTV record was only kept 14 days. After discussion, he promised to send the photo and information of another firm mattress which is made in UK to us. He offered 25% off for the mattress which is made in UK and we need to pay the extra amount. No any responds was received from the shop since then. We are so disappointed for this small local business for it’s honesty.

Just visited Cardiff branch to purchase a new bed/headboard and we were served by two very knowledgeable and helpful staff who successfully removed the confusion of their very large stock and constructed a deal which we were very happy with. Delivery is quick too.

Huge selection with helpful sales staff on site, the mattress was delivered quickly and exactly as advertised, and with helpful instructions on how to best maintain it. I'm sleeping much better now and couldn't recommend highly enough.

Purchased a new mattress from here which was delivered promptly and efficiently. Mattress is superb and excellent quality. The customer service has been exceptional from start to finish and any queries dealt with promptly. Wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Great customer experience, gave me more comfortable mattresses than dreams at a lower price

Reviewing after suffering for 2.5 years with an Mlily mattress bought from Elephant Beds with a recommendation.

We were recommend an Mlily Premier mattress by a salesman. We tried the mattress and it felt great, so bought a double soft/medium version as we are both side sleepers.

We have not had a good night sleep since! The mattress is heavy with support at the sides but the middle sags and we spend all night rolling together and sleeping on an incline. The one we tried in the shop which we were told was a soft/medium was much firmer. My partner (in his late 20s) has developed back pain which we believe is down to the mattress.

Within a couple of weeks of having the mattress we raised this issue with the store but they tried to blame our bed frame saying it wasn't supportive enough (we have tried the mattress on a hard floor and since changed to a divan so that certainly isn't the issue). They refused a refund or exchange, as other big mattress retailers in the UK do with their sleep/comfort guarantees. It would not surprise me that the retailer was being paid extra to promote the Mlily mattresses.

Unfortunately we still cannot afford to change the mattress which cost more than £700!

I have since done some more research and can see only negative reviews in the UK for the Mlily Premier.

Do not make the same mistake we did and spend your money on a reputable brand and in a store which offers a sleep/comfort guarantee.
