Exceptional Service
Popped into the store on a whim whilst in town last week with my Mum to get her to look into the possibility of switching from a wheelchair to a scooter. We had absolutely no intention of making a purchase, however, that's exactly what we did.
We were served by a lovely lady named Jane who could not have been more helpful if she tried. There was another lady in the store with her whose name I cannot remember (my apologies) who was equally as lovely.
All I knew upon entering was that scooter had to fold up for me to be able to pop it in the boot of my car. Right away Jane pulled one out for us to look at, explaining all she could about it. She showed us how to fold it, explained how to run it, and how the battery works. She was superbly professional, friendly and patient throughout. Her kindness saw my very awkward and non-confident Mum end up taking one for a test drive up-and-down West Street. I never thought I would see that day she did such a thing. From the moment she sat on it I could see her confidence begin to shine.
Jane was patient with her, walked beside her whilst on the 'test drive' and by the time they got back my Mum had decided she wanted it, and went ahead making a purchase - this is the same woman who usually say "thank you" before walking away, asking me where else we might be able to get one cheaper. She felt so confident in the product, the purchase and the support that she made a decision there-and-then. One she has not looked back on.
She hated her electric wheelchair to the point she used it only when myself or my brother was with her and took control of it for her. Due to my having arthritis she didn't like me pushing her around in her manual chair, but the pain she was in walking was causing her to become a bit of a recluse. She is now off out enjoying her life again, and I cannot thank Jane enough for giving her the confidence to go for it. I believe she would never have made a purchase just listening to myself and my brother.
First class service, a great scooter and a very happy Mum. Thank you.

Great service with a smile
We are a retired couple and visited the Fareham shop to enquire about riser/recliner chairs to future proof our apartment in preparation for later years. We were served by Jane, who gave us a comprehensive appraisal of all options available to us. Eden Excel Move Mobility Scooter, Fareham Branch
We purchased an Eden Excel Move mobility scooter. The staff where fantastic. Jane gave demonstrations of several of the mobility scooters, allowing hubby to take each one for a test run. All the staff were very friendly and we were not put under any pressure to make an actual purchase. We were however offered a good discount. The delivery was also excellent, arriving within 24 hours, fully assembled.

Buying a mobility scooter
My husband has Parkinson’s and has had to give up driving we went to the Fareham store to see if he was suitable for a mobility buggy. Jane was very friendly and extremely helpful giving us all the information and answered any questions we had, chatted to my husband to see what would be best suited to him and insisted on him having a trial in it to make sure he was safe using it and felt comfortable driving it. We bought an Eden Pathmaster which despite dreadful weather was delivered the next day. He has used a couple of times and is very happy with it.
