Stopped by the Centurion park development not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by a lovely lady, Carol Innes. I had a look around the show homes and then sat and had a chat with Carol regarding the development. She explained how things would work and how long the development would take to finish. She provided us with expert advice and how we would be best moving forward to the purchase of a beautiful new home. We have taken her advice and are now hoping that the builders will help us fulfill our dream move. Thank you Carol for all your help and guidance over the last few weeks. The customer service has been second to none. Carole has been exceptional, helping us to understand all the options available to us. It truly feels as though Carole wants us to make the best decision for us and has been incredibly accommodating.
The homes are beautiful and well planned out as well as reasonably priced.

Me and my partner went to view the properties at new House Farm. Beautiful location and stunning houses. Both Rosie and Marcus were very helpful and gave us lots of information. Will definitely visit again.
Reserved our new home in June 2023. The saleswoman was fine, answering our many questions whilst waiting for the house to be built. There was a 3 months delay in the completion date but we eventually moved into our home in August 2024. The quality of the finish isn’t great, shabby paintwork, dents in the walls and chipped woodwork in places but these are not accepted as snags. We had 72 hours from getting the keys to produce a snag list which is difficult when you’re trying to get your furniture into the house, put belongings into kitchen cupboards etc. Also we had Amtico flooring and carpets included in our purchase but the wrong Amtico had been laid throughout the ground floor resulting in us having to move back out for 2 days whilst it was rectified. As we approached winter and the colder months arrived we realised we could hear a strange noise upstairs coming from the loft. On inspection we noticed the roof felt/membrane was covered in water droplets which would freeze and then thaw. The water was then dripping onto the lagging causing it to soak up the water and flatten. We reported it but had to wait a number of weeks before the builder inspected the roof. We also had water coming in through the ceiling around the skylight windows to the lower sloping roof at the rear of the house. The roofing contractor stated a non breathable membrane had been used and it was therefore replaced. In addition some roof tile vents were added to stop the loft condensation. Over the summer the loft has been dry but once the cold winter months arrived in late 2025 the condensation started again. The builder has fitted some plastic felt vents and assured us this would resolve the issue. Unfortunately this is not the case and we still have excessive condensation in our loft which once again is dripping onto the lagging. Despite numerous emails to customer care we are still awaiting a resolution. Our emails go unanswered for days and when we do get a response it is patronising and accusatory. We are told we shouldn’t keep opening the loft hatch (we don’t) or not to dry clothes on an airer (we don’t) or turn the extractor fans on when showering (we do). This house is our 4th new build home. We’ve never had problems like this in our other properties. Some of our neighbours have a different loft felt/membrane which leads us to believe we have a non breathable membrane in our loft (especially as the roofer admitted there was a non breathable membrane in the lower sloping roof). Some of our neighbours also have excessive condensation like us and are in the process of trying to get Eccleston Homes to sort it out. They have the same roof felt as ours. This house is our last home, we downsized and retired here. We don’t want the worry of a very wet loft. There’s also a concern about the combination of electrics and water in the loft as we have solar panels and the wiring and control panel is in the loft.
Eccleston Homes don’t seem to care. Their solutions haven’t worked and getting a response from them is a nightmare. We assumed, as they are a relatively small builder, that the build quality and customer care would be to a high standard. This is not the case. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend Eccleston Homes to anyone. You’ll notice the positive reviews are mainly pre completion, when the salesperson is falling over themselves to be polite and professional in order to take your money. Once you’ve completed they don’t want to know you. I wish we hadn’t purchased our Eccleston Home.
Update - membrane confirmed as non breathable which, although is within specifications, if non breathable membrane is used additional ventilation should be installed. Following a lot of back n forth and stress on our part (and independent damp technicians measuring the moisture readings) we now have additional soffit vents fitted around the roof fascia. Time will tell if this has worked.
The sales lady was extremely informative and very helpful.
