Fantastic experience
Olivia from Gatwick was an absolute angel. She was incredibly polite, helpful and easy to work with, we were so grateful for her help and she helped us with everything we needed! We also had a breeze dropping the car back in Liverpool with absolutely no issues at all.

Un bon conseil. Fuyez Easirent et surtout drivalia Gatwick..,, si vous ne voulez pas que votre location vous coute le triple du prix de départ affiché sur Internet, ne jamais louer avec eux. Un exemple ? Vous arrivez avec deux heures de retard - parce que l’avion a eu un retard, classique …. pour prendre votre location pour cinq jours vous êtes facturés 100 livres… Vous n’y etes pour rien, vous avez loué pour cinq jours et vous pensez que vous avez le droit de prendre votre voiture quand vous le souhaitez, ou quand vous le pouvez… eh bien non on vous facture cent euros pour votre retard de prise en charge…Vous avez pris en photos et en vidéos toute la carrosserie au depart mais vous avez oublié de prendre en photos les pneus… un brin au pneu…? Vous en prenez pour trois cents euros… Et pourtant vous n’avez touché aucun trottoir, et rendu la voiture dans un état impeccable… Tout est prétexte pour vous prendre de l’argent…Tout est prétexte pour majorer la location… Une bande de voleurs à fuir absolument. Maintenant Libre à vous de ne pas suivre les conseils… On vous aura prévenu !
Easirent app not real terms and conditions
Booked a car with Easirent app. Easy and economic. Turn out Easirent is not anymore Easirent but Drivalia.
But they not mention anything in the app. So when you collect the car you can have some different terms and conditions like the the amount they hold on the credit card.

Not impressed - go directly to the car company
We had a hurried flight and car booking due to my Husbands father, the family had been called to say their last goodbyes. We live in Greece and so he needed a car at Gatwick.
I didn't read the small print when I took out the 'full insurance'. I also hadn't realised that Easirent was a 3rd party - things were frantic. So when my Husband went to collect the car he was told that on top of the £40 I had paid for the full insurance, they would also have to charge his card £1500. On returning the car, providing there's no damage, they would refund it. If there was any damage then they would keep the £1500 and he would have to claim it back - that's what Easirents 'full insurance' means. We ended up paying £120 directly to Drivalia for full insurance, on top of the £40 I'd already paid. Neither of those charges is refundable.
I had tried to cancel the booking but was advised I would lose most of the money because I hadn't cancelled within 24 hours - I had literally just booked it hours earlier. It made an already traumatic experience even more traumatic whilst my Husband was trying to sort it out. He was a 2 hour car drive away from the hospital his Dad was in, and it was a delay and hassle that he really didn't need.

Don’t rent cars from this company cause I did and they took money out of my account saying that I got a ticket from parking illegally at a hotel that I was a guest. They sent me two photos of the car rental that I was driving in the street,no proof of ticket and no photos of the car rental parked,,illegally’’. I have rented cars from all over the world and this is the first time that happened to me.It’s February and I’m still waiting for the money.I have rented the car in December 2022.

I had a horrible experience with Easirent.
First and foremost, I booked a car from this company, and when I arrived at Gatwick airport, the office was not near the airport. The company's location took me long time to find since Google Maps got confused, and nobody at the airport knew or had heard about this company.
I tried to contact the company by phone, but I waited in vain for half an hour. By Gods help, I found this company.
Secondly, the company did not mention that they charge costumers unreasonably. Before you sign your rental papers, you also have to sign a document emphasizing that you give the company permission charging you, in my eyes, unreasonably. Otherwise, you cannot rent any car.
Let me demonstrate it by an example: I forgot to pay my congestion charge - fair, I was fined 39 pounds. However, the company took 55 pounds as administration fee to change the responsible of that fine. Charging me 55 pounds is unresonable - that is more than the amount of the fine? That is so rubbish!
Thirdly, the car rental company's location is narrow and, therefore, upon my departure, I had to park the car in front of a shopping-cart shelter at my own risk.
I would not recommend anyone this company, because everyone with a common sense should know, based on my experience, that renting a car from this company is not worth it.
Easibent; The Sopranos of Car Rental
Easibent are a fraudulent company who's modus operandi is to insert a series of hidden terms and conditions that will make it difficult not to get hit with added charges even months after you have used them. Giving them your credit card details is like giving your PIN number to the mafia.

Very good service, opted for the super relax package. Got upgraded on the car which was a bonus. Very reasonable price would definitely be using them again.

Hire van broke down within 3hrs if hiring I then had to spend the 7hrs awaiting recovery only then to be told they don't have a suitable replacement. I hires a panel van which was a replaced with a 9 seater minibus so i couldn't use it for work which was the whole point. I raised a complaint on Saturday it's now Wednesday and am still waiting for a response Ref: CS-2847081-01. Honestly worst hire experience I have ever had
Thieves and rip-off merchants. BE WARNED.
As so many other reviewers have stated, this company is a bunch of thieves who add on extra insurance charges when you arrive to pick-up your pre-paid car and then, weeks later, take over £120 from my bank account for unpaid Dartford tolls which i had appealed and won, meaning the penalty notice from DartCharge was reversed meaning, as the middle-men, Easirent would have received the money back but did they refund me? Only after many email complaints did they refund half of it as a “good-will gesture” but refused to refund the rest, saying it was to cover admin charges! Admin charges for something I was cleared of!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE if you want an easy life as they will RIP YOU OFF!

Hidden charges
Very unsatisfactory. They make their money from hidden charges and charged me £38 one day insurance excess cover, despite the fact I already had excess insurance. And their one way drop off charge was £83 from Gatwick to London.

Great team. Car could have been a little better
Very easy and quick check in process, very good on that.
The car had no apparent issue but the on board computer kept reporting problems which was a bit unsettling.

Don't get trapped...
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I booked a car for 6 days and paid for the hire PLUS insurance. Email confirmations arrived to confirm my booking and a separate email to confirm insurance.
I then get an email asking me to 'check in' with Easirent which would speed up the collection process.
I tried to check in but all I get is an error message saying that my booking is still being processed. Please allow 15 minutes or call +44 (0)20 300 44 199 (UK) or 1 888 901 5121 (US) if you are still unable to login. I tried to call this number but all I get is a voice recording telling me to manage my booking online.
I cannot manage my booking online as it keeps saying that my booking is still being processed. 5 days later and no change.
I went to collect the vehicle today. I was met with a que of people and 1 member of staff at the reception desk.
I was advised that the system is down and that payment from a 3rd party booking site ie: Rentalcars.com could not be confirmed on their system.
After a very long wait I had to wait for an email with a link and then click on the link and pay another £150. Once that was clear, I was given a set of keys and had to go find the car in a carpark.
No documentation was supplied. All I have is an email receipt confirming I have paid £150.
I would like a clear explanation as to why this unexpected charge was taken and supporting documentation. This additional £150 was taken from me 'under protest' and without reasonable explanation.
I had planned my week and rented the vehicle several days earlier so I had no choice but to pay and deal with the issue after.
When I arrived home, I called several of their numbers only to be advised to go online and use the 'manage my booking' option.
I have now tried on numerous occasions to access my booking but the same error message saying my booking is being processed.
My booking has not been processed and they have taken more than double the fee from my credit card.
I have now paid £115.71 PLUS £150 even though I informed Easirent that I had already paid for rental and insurance several days ago.
I will be making an official complaint to European Consumer Centre Network and BVRLA.
I will also be making a complaint and claim under section 75 of the consumer credit act 1974 with my credit card company.
I have just read all the similar reviews on Trustpilot where Easirent demand extra fees for insurance or demand to take a bond of £2500 from your card even though people have booked and paid online.
They DO NOT warn customers of this.
