I couldn't be happier:
I have never hired a vehicle before. This was my first experience on doing so. I tried a number of on-line companies - getting quotes etc.
I found Easirent UK - Bootle to be the best priced and most available for the vehicle I needed.
I booked it all on line. When I arrived at the Bootle Depot, everything was ready for me. All I had to do was verify a few details. The person on Reception was very helpful and professional.
The vehicle was almost brand new. It was exceptionally clean and had penalty of fuel already in, so that I could set about my days activities without having to go and get fuel first.
I would recommend Easirent UK - Bootle to anyone. It was an altogether happy experience.

Ended up paying £55 more when I got back cause I needed to go to London an back from Liverpool
And the van had less than a quarter of a tank in it so had to fill up wasting more time before start of journey

Scam Avoid avoid avoid... I am writing this review with the intention that someone will read this & avoid making the same mistake i did going with this company.. I made a booking online for the 24th of July (Ref: 90438456-1)..on the 22nd of July i phoned ahead to find out what documents i would need to bring in to complete my booking, i was told i needed a credit card, driving license and 2 proof of address, i informed the advisor that i did not have a credit card & she said as long as i paid the accidental cover upfront it would be fine. On the 24th of July I arrived at easirent Gatwick to pick my hire, i was given a very high quote for the accidental damage cover so I told the advisor that i would no longer be indeed of the hire as the price was too much, she readjusted the price twice and still said it was too high so she readjusted it a third time to a much more reasonable price & therefore i agreed..she then did a check on my license whilst taking the payment of £350, after the payment went through she said "I'm sorry but we can't rent to you because you've got 6 points on your license" i said to her why did you not say that before you let me put my card in she said I'm sorry i should have checked your license before putting the payment through however i will request a full refund and it should be back in your account within 5 working days, i asked that she put it in writing which she did... I phoned back a week later to be told ..i was wrongly informed & it can take up to 28 days ..i phoned back a month after, to be told, the company will be retaining 3 days Rental from the refund owed to me as its in their policy..i informed the advisor that i was not given any policy possibly due to me requesting the hire through a third party company (VIPcars) .. however i was i told easirent will still be retaining 3 days Rental ...its now 13th of September and i have received £0 back from the company..i feel like i was scammed because the company was eager to get my money all that readjustment with the price & now refuse to give me my money back..i rented in the past from more reputable organization i.e avis and when i they could not offer me the car i requested the money went back in my account straight away.. This company is fraudulent & i wish i had read the reviews before hand.
Booked a van 10 weeks in advance to ensure (or though I thought) the correct van was available due to taking it to NI and going on a ferry needed to make sure met the size requirements of the booking. Even put notes on the booking. Due to collect at 13 30. 9am on the morning of collection I get phone call to say no van available. How/why do you let this happen? What's the point of booking, might as well be first come first serve. After secured another van from elsewhere easirent called back to say can come pick it up 2hrs after the original collection time but as I was going NI there was extra surcharge as was taking out of the country, think you'll find NI is in United Kingdom!! No request for further payment prior to the day of collection even though cleat notes provided prior. Won't be using easirent again.
First class service staff brilliant could not fault .Will use again next time I need a hire car .prices best in market
I have dealt with this company for some years and have had nothing but great service from the guys that collect you from the Airport to the office and garage staff wouldn’t use anyone else Great Service
Oh my lord - I cannot give enough thanks to the lady in the Bootle office today. She responded to my needs with empathy, friendliness and professionalism. I was able to extend my car hire quickly and seamlessly. She applied real common sense and I now look forward to being able to hire from the Bootle office again.
