Dyno-Rod - Plumbing Yorkshire Omdömen 

I’m giving 2 stars for good communication, punctuality, and the polite, well-mannered behavior of the person who visited our property.

However, I’m taking away 3 stars because I clearly explained the issue to the Dyno team over the phone, providing all the relevant details, including the type of shower, its functions, and the problem. Yet, when the technician arrived, we learned that the company only handles bath showers. I’m confused as to why they accepted our request in the first place—this visit could have been easily avoided. The company should ensure that they verify these details upfront, especially if they offer limited services, or at the very least, inform us in advance. It ended up being a waste of time, and we’re still left with a broken shower, which is very inconvenient.

I had a burst pipe under my kitchen sink and called Dyno Rod on a Saturday as an emergency call out (£120). The plumber was incredibly friendly but unfortunately, although he fitted a new pipe, I found the next day it was leaking. I called Dyno Rod (Sunday) and they sent someone else round. Again, a very helpful and friendly plumber, who suggested the previous plumber hadn’t used the best caps. He fitted new caps. Alas, the next day, despite a new pipe and different caps, it’s still leaking. I’ve called Dyno-Rod again today (Tuesday) and the next available slot to send someone round is Saturday. Not great, for a single mum of three. I wish I’d gone with a local, independent plumber - this should be a very basic/simple (and much cheaper!) fix.

I had a leaking soil pipe. With it being a problem job I had three visits from different guys. Unfortunately I can't remember the guys name who fixed the job but wow he knew his job inside out.
And after that as a good will gesture sent Adam from Leeds to plaster up the small damage made to gain access to the job.
Also thanks to Gary from Hull who came out on a recall. A BG engineer had cocked up my leaking radiators. Thankyou Dyno Rod.😊

Engineer attended with pre warning. Respectful of the property and removed shoes. Assessed the hot water cylinder and sought advice on the requirements to replace. Provided us with several options to consider and made a recommendation for a best solution. Suggested seeking further advice and estimates.

Appointment booked and confirmed subsequently - nobody turned up from Dyno, no phone call. Rang Dyno, but noone answered the phone.

Fast efficient service. Engineer explained what he was going to do and did it.

Plumber arrived with parts as arranged and carried out good repair.He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Nick rang to say what time he would be arriving - we told him what was needed and he had a good look at it and explained what he would do.
He then carried out a thorough job and didn’t rush at any point . He then explained what he had done and made sure we were satisfied. Nick tested there were no leaks 3 times before leaving but said to get in contact if there were any issues.
We were very happy with this work. Nick was tidy and methodical - many thanks

Really impressed with harry doesn't rush but does a thorough job more than can be said for British Gas engineers.

Could not do the job to replace stop tap as could not turn off mains stop tap in street which Yorkshire Water will not repair. Plumber was freindly and gave good advice. Quoted a good price for job if could get main stop tap sorted.

Quick efficient polite tidy work. A pleasure to have in the house.

Brilliant service from booking the appointment to resolution of a planned simple job that turned out to be extremely difficult. Engineer Ian went above and beyond to complete the work. Affable, polite, tidy and extremely capable, I have no hesitation in commending him and Dynorod.

I always thought dynorod was expensive from stories I've been told but if I'm honest they were cheaper than a normal plumber would of been and it's a proper company not a man of all trades.

I was so concerned about a potential leak in my en suite, and the potential cost, but Iain turned up within 24 hours of contact, did a thorough inspection, assured me that there was no leak and did a few tweaks to the toilet in question so that the flush was no longer problematic. He also showed me how to check if the central heating system has a leak in the future, and gave me ballpark quotes and advice if this turned out to be the case. Very professional, helpful and courteous, would absolutely recommend.

Plumber turned up in the timeslot, looked at the job and went off to get the required valve, took 20 mins to get it, then had the new valve in and job completed in the next hour.

Polite and punctual,
