We had a serious outdoor drainage problem and called DYNO at the Blackburn office. Two engineers by the name of Adam and his assistant Tom attended. They provided an excellent service . Knowledgeable, efficient , extremely helpful and good at communicating their solution along with helpful advice for the future all words that spring to mind. Thank you , The Singletons

The engineer who came for the partially blocked drain was very professional and explained what was happening along the way. A camera was put up the drain and the blockage was power washed. The engineer rang me around 45 minutes beforehand to let me know he was on his way.

We called Dynorod out on the weekend as our drain was blocked . A man arrived and plunged the drain and looked like everything was clear , so off he went . The following weekend the drain was badly blocked again . As I had a 90 day guarantee, I called them out again . This time a lovely lady called Jodie arrived . She was very thorough, put the camera right through and discovered the blockage was cause by stones . She jet washed them thoroughly and properly cleaned the drain . Can’t say much for the first guy that turned up, but Jodie was fantastic and definitely deserves 5 stars . Thank you

We had an incredibly poor experience today with Dyno-Rod! Suffered an emergency leak, the initial call with the agent was positive and a same day appointment was agreed. Then one hour later, we received a call from the person who had been assigned the job, who made it very clear she didn’t wish to come out (it was already 7pm) and made every effort to delay us until the next morning. Her overall tone and attitude left me with no option than to cancel the whole appointment and make alternate arrangements! Really poor experience

We recently had to call on British Gas under our drains cover due to a blocked shower in our newly fitted bathroom. Despite trying everything ourselves—from plungers to drain unblockers—we couldn’t solve the problem. We were dreading the possibility of having to uplift our new flooring to access the issue, which added to the stress.

British Gas arranged for Dyno-Rod to attend, and true to their word, an engineer named Jodie arrived promptly the next morning. From the moment she arrived, it was clear we were in capable hands. Jodie’s knowledge, professionalism, and calm approach were incredibly reassuring.

She initially attempted to fix the issue via the shower trap and external manhole using a camera, but it soon became evident that the blockage was deep within the pipework. After exhausting all other options, we reluctantly agreed to remove a tile to gain proper access—something I had been dreading.

Thanks to Jodie’s precision and care, we managed to remove a single tile without damaging the surrounding ones. Once we gained access, she quickly identified the culprit: a shampoo bottle cap lodged deep in the pipe, severely restricting water flow.

It took time, teamwork, and a good dose of perseverance (and a bit of blood, sweat, and tears!), but with Jodie’s guidance and determination, we successfully removed the blockage using a combination of camera work and a specialist tool.

Jodie was nothing short of amazing—her dedication, skill, and attitude were a credit to both Dyno-Rod and British Gas. She’s a true ambassador for the company and deserves recognition for her exceptional service.

Since the visit, I’ve upgraded the trap to a better design, and fingers crossed we won’t have to deal with this issue again. But if we do, I’d want Jodie back in a heartbeat.

All toilets in house suddenly blocked late morning and backed up into bath and showers. Murph arrived on site within a couple of hours, got straight down to business, cleared a massive blockage in the sewer pipe and had it clean as a new pin in no time. Also smoothed a pipe joint off to help stop the problem recurring. Excellent service!

The lady who came to Gidlow Lane, Saturday night 15/08/25 was amazing. She was so helpful and kept us at ease throughout. Sorted the issue really quickly and was really polite.

Murphy was a legend. He spent ages working out where our problem was and jetting the different legs of the sewer until he found & cleared the blockage. Then he checked that everything was clear & working properly. It took a lot of working out what was wrong & Murphy went the extra mile even though it was really hot and getting late in the day. Our blocked toilet was a problem especially when the outside toilet also became blocked! Simon from dynorod came and when he couldn't park outside he waited until our neighbour came home and moved his car. This was service above and beyond. He unblocked our toilet within an hour. He is a star and I will definitely use him again for the outside toilet!
