I normally come on here to complain so really pleased to be able to write a positive review. The block of flats where I live in Colchester has drain problems and this time it was bad. Shower flooded the bathroom, sewage from the toilet coming up in shower. Phoned Dynarod and Bradley arrived that afternoon. It was a pretty horrific smelling blockage but he dealt with it brilliantly and then after noticing my sink was draining slowly (it has always been slow) checked with a drill and a pressure hose and managed to haul out a huge amount of lime scale which had built up over years. He was efficient and helpful and sorted it all out and then came in and cleaned my shower too. I live on my own and need to know I can rely on companies like this. Absolutely excellent service and I am pleased to say so and to pass on my compliments to the person I spoke to on the phone and to Bradley.

Very helpful engineer

A quick and efficient service, phoned for an appointment Friday evening and an engineer was with us by 10.30 Saturday morning. We had blocked toilet and the engineer was polite and friendly and sorted out our problem. Good service.

My toilet stopped working right at the most inconvenient time, when I had visitors. Normally there’s just me in the house most of the time. The water was right up to the top, and also leaking a bit at the back on the floor, so we couldn’t use it any more. Not an ideal situation when you don’t have another toilet! I rang Dyno-Rod at 9 o’clock Monday morning. (It happened Saturday lunchtime, but I didn’t ring till Monday morning, because I was worried that I would get charged a high amount if it was at the weekend). By late afternoon, I was getting worried because no-one had arrived. The guy eventually arrived just before 8 pm.
I was very surprised and annoyed when he walked into my carpeted hallway with his dirty work boots on. Workmen always have shoe covers or take them off. When I said to him don’t you have any shoe covers, he said they’re not dirty! He lifted his shoe up, and no, it didn’t have a load of mud on it, but they were still grubby, and he works with toilets and drains for God’s sake! He said okay, I won’t come in any more. I didn’t like his attitude. So I had to flush the toilet, fill the bath up and empty it etc. myself. He showed me in the driveway, when he had lifted the drain cover, what the blockage was. He cleared it and everything was working and back to normal. What a relief! I was worried about the cost, but it cost the minimum amount of £170, so a lot of money, but at least it’s done now.

We had a blocked drain late Saturday evening which was overflowing all over our drive after phoning Bradley arrived within just over an hour and within 15 minutes it was all flowing again great service.

Immediate phone response and an appointment made for same day. Engineer arrived shortly afterwards and he was very polite and friendly. Problem solved very quickly. No issues at all, just wish it could have been much cheaper.

The guys were very friendly and got my drains running again and also found what the problem was for future work to completely clear the issue. They spent the time to get the current circumstances working as well as possible and discussed the findings and potential options along the way. I was very impressed with their professionalism and personal inter action. Certainly a very good customer facing team for the company.

We originally thought we had a blocked kitchen pipe, the camera revealed a huge, solid fat ball in the main down pipe. Wasted money on acids & other plumbers who did half the job. Friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.
