Dyno rod were fast to get out to us the next morning having called them in the everning. They were fast and responsive on the phones. The engineer they sent out - Frankie was great. He was so knowledgeable especially out the area and how the drainage systems worked. Managed to fix the problem and we were very grateful. Well worth the cost!

Made contact with Dyno Rod at 11:30 and by 13:00 they were here!!! Told me exactly what it was and that it might need unblocking (limescale) however having blasted some water through it seemed to have done the job 👍🏻. Really nice guy too.

Called out to clear sole WC not draining properly (water rising in bowl when flushed). Came really quickly. Inspected external drainage with camera. Did something so that water not rising so much but still a blockage. Said he have to take WC apart, which is set into decorative panel in bathroom. Gave the impression he wasn't going to do that. I wasn't paying attention as had another drama playing out in the house. So paid with card - to admin.person (weblink not working), who got stroppy with me as she couldn't hear details very well. Realised after that paid a lot (£180) for very little i.e WC still faulty and I'm still worried about user blocking it further. Have had to call out local plumber to take WC apart & clear blockage which is clearly somewhere in toilet pan.....

The booking process was easy, I had a blocked toilet in a commercial property. Engineer arrives during working hours (so not out of hours) first thing I’m told is are you aware of price? No I say ok it’s £250 for first hour then £100 every hour after that. He proceeds to look at my toilet and says should he drains I’d already checked drain which was clear but obviously he then chks it is clear, he gets a plunger tries to plunge for a few minutes with no change then tells me he needs to go away and quote me for removal of toilet and cameras down pipes. Charges me £250 for 20 minutes visit and leaves. I then call my plumber who I know doesn’t do drains (why I called dyno-rod) he pops by to take a look brings in a rod with plunger attached (old school) 10 mins blockage cleared and I can re-open my business with a working toilet. Dyno-Rod quote for removal of toilet £700. Would I use them again NO WAY I think £250 for 20 mins is an absolute rip off and then try to get me to have a totally unnecessary job for £700 well even worse. I run a small business and costs are extortionate as it is I felt the man that came to me just saw a way of making more money very disappointed especially as dunno-rod are involved with British Gas. Poor I have left it a while to post review because I have tried to deal with there complaints department which isn’t worth doing because they don’t bother to deal with you. 2 emails and 2 missed calls they leave it, I even sent an email asking for a call in a 3 hour time slot they said yes will call then and never did. Update 28/5/2025 after a few more emails eventually I had a call after explaining the issue they checked there tracker on the vehicle that visited my property and agreed to refund me £147 which I was happy especially as I had paid out for my plumber as well, I can’t fault the gentleman who dealt with my issue in the end it was speedy.

Firstly, it was great service and I have no criticism of the plumber or the standard of work which was very good.

I struggle to understand how the figure of £180 is arrived at?

The plumber was onsite for about 40 mins, of which the actual clearing of the blockage took abuot 10 mins. There was no work to be done before clearing the bockage as a bath panel had been taken off leaving the piping exposed.

He made made 2 journeys to the van from my flat which was aout 500 yards away. One to fetch the vac and had to ring the office taking up about 30 mins in total. I do not know if he was directly employed or self employed. i understand the costs of time and travel andthe the cost of tools, vehicle costs have to be factored in. Thanks JP

Mitchell fixed our plumbing today. There was a very loud noise which happened every time a tap was turned on in our house. He fitted a new shower as the old one had a broken part. It was an easy and efficient visit and we are thankful the problem is solved.

Dyno-Rod cleared a persistent outside drain blockage. Engineer worked tirelessly to get the job done and what a nice guy! A professional and reliable service which means everything these days. Worth every penny. Thank You

Mitchell was polite, on time and helpful. The tap replacement was quickly done and all good.

Had a blocked drain. Called around 08.00 and engineer Anton arrived around 14.00. Blockage sorted in a few minutes.

Thank you Darryl for the late call out where our leaking main stopcock was very cheerfully and quickly fixed. No more mopping up every half hour! thank you for your prompt response and for fixing the filler valve that had also been playing up.
