DWF provided me with clear, concise advice over the past three years on a matter that has just reached a successful conclusion. The DWF Partner, Associate and legal team were always contactable, friendly, responded promptly to any communication and thoroughly supportive throughout a fraught experience. Our solicitor, Katie Ashton at DWF Law, was fantastic. Our problems began with our tenant back in 2020 and at the point when she stopped paying her rent we decided to serve a Section 21 notice. Katie's knowledge, advice and service was excellent throughout the long ordeal. She drafted all the paperwork and organised the court case and advised us as to what would happen on the day of the case. Our Section 21 was successful however our tenant refused to leave the property on the date given by the judge. Katie then helped us to organise a Bailiff's appointment to finally evict our tenant. Unfortunately on reclaiming our property in March 2024 we found that it had been trashed by our tenant. Since then Katie has been preparing documentation for us to make a claim against the tenant for damages.

After a slow start with our legal case (where another lawyer - no longer at DWF - was in control of our case), Heather Keenan at DWF worked hard - in conjunction with counsel - to ensure a successful result. She was very clear and concise in communications; straight talking and always kept us updated on a regular basis, despite being very senior in the firm. We are very grateful for the positive outcome and would recommend DWF.

The process took a while to get going, but eventually progress was made and we reached a great outcome.

I have written to them 10 times over 2 months and called and no response to emails. I have confirmed the email is correct , It is regarding a false claim being made against us by one of their clients clean business. How do they expect us to revert to them about the claim when they dont respond to any emails.

Really helpful team on our family matter. Would recommend

The solicitor was very efficient, clear and knowledgeable about my case.

Minus 10 stars is more appropriate for this arrogant and incompetent business!!

I have rang the cowboy that is dealing with my claim over 20 times and he refuses to return my phone call. He is disrespectful and rude and hasn’t got the courage to discuss the claim in a professional manner. What type of people do they employ that your claim handler behaves like a 5 years old and doesn’t know how to literally talk to a customer. These are the people that work for this organisation

Diamond in unexpected places. Ordinarily, no one wants to start chancing Insurance claim because of the share exhaustive experience of trying to squeeze water out of a solid rock. However, my experience with Katie Ashton was very different. She is the best in my opinion that I have encountered; kind, gracious, compassionate yet professionally competent efficient and thorough. Even though we couldn't recover the debt owned us due to technicality, yet I can't resist a shoutout for Katie at DWF for her humanity and grace. Thank you ever so much

Cheryn on the DWF team was very helpful with our dispute. It was an unfortunate situation for our small family business. A big company went legal (unnecessarily) with a long list of threats. Cheryn gathered all the information, responded to their aggressive legal letter, and the matter was resolved over a few weeks.

This was a real relief for us. We felt lucky to have a strong and knowledgeable legal partner in our corner.

David Hulbert was my appointed solicitor to represent me via my insurance company. I had a bespoke lodge built and from the first month many issues came to light and in effect, it started to fall apart. David was very clear on the way forward and was very pro active in getting all the parties involved together and responding to each other. However, there was a lot of resistance over a period of over 2 years but David was very persistent and took the lead and in my mind was the one in charge of the negotiations. Not your usual wishy washy solicitor and very direct but that's my kind of solicitor! Was so blessed to have him represent me and an excellent outcome. Would recommend in a heart beat. Dwf were very professional and worked tirelessly to sort out my eviction of my tenants from my house. Oscar Terry worked very quickly when he took over my case and got a quick and easy eviction. He kept me informed all the way and made the conclusion quick and easy I was so pleased couldn’t fault Oscar or the company
