A really excellent experience- I undertook 2 advanced driving lessons having lost confidence and suffering anxiety in certain specific situations, after the birth of my baby. My instructor Mark was an incredible listener and was exceptionally understanding- a really excellent and positive experience and whilst I am not back to normal, I am certainly improving in confidence day to day

I passed my driving test a year ago (at the age of 41 so already nervous). My lessons were between lockdowns so there was no continuity. Soon after the test doctor told me not to drive as I had to have a serious operation. In the end I didn't drive for the better part of a year.
When I found Drivers Domain website, I thought that it was very informative and exactly what I need. When I called, Caron was very helpful and efficient. She was right that I needed 2 half days to gain confidence. She pretty swiftly organized lessons with Fatima.
Fatima is brilliant! Very empathetic and encouraging. She did a great job to calm me down when I got in the car and I came back beaming from ear to ear afterwards. She gave me useful advice, corrected my mistakes and praised my driving. Thanks to her I started driving on my own and am building my confidence more and more.

I took a full day driving course with Adam Boxell. I felt I could make some improvements to my driving having been a driver for over 40 years and had developed some bad habits. Just by chatting to me and watching my driving, Adam quickly identified my shortcomings and we spent the next few hours practising various techniques to help me improve my driving style and observation skills. My time with Adam that day has transformed my driving, which is now much more enjoyable, calm and relaxed, and my awareness skills. Adam was also a really nice person to spend quite a few hours with!

I am elderly but still enjoy driving. Unfortunately whilst waiting for shoulder surgery I was unable to drive from September 2021 until June 2022. As a result, I lost confidence in my ability to drive safely and competently. I wanted guidance and expertise provided by a reputable company and found Drivers Domain. It was reassuring to have the tutoring in my own car. After an initial chat and a short familiar drive I felt at ease. Fatima, my tutor, was encouraging but thorough in her assessment of my skills and ability. I was pleased that I had not lost my road sense but thankful for her constructive criticism of a few habits that I had developed over time. The session included a variety of different roads and urban/rural areas. By the end of the session I was driving with confidence. I am now back behind the wheel and putting into practise the points she had raised. It was good to know that any further sessions were entirely up to me as Fatima confirmed that my basic problem was lack of confidence. I appreciate her calls to check how I am coping. I would definitely recommend Drivers Domain to anyone who has lost confidence or wants to improve their driving skills.

Having bought a 400+bhp car 2ton vehicle having driven numerous heavy 3.5ton 4x4’s for 30 of my 50 driving years, I decided I was due for learning how to drive a high performance car safely and efficiently.
Firstly with forthcoming driving instruction, thought I was due to refresh my memory and understand the current Highway Code.
My first 3.5hours of watchful instruction and advice revealed only minimal shortcomings of technique and observation. This rendered me more capable of improving my safety as well as the safety of others.
My trainer/instructor Chris Potten provided his assessment of my driving which made me think I was pretty good at driving, as we all do. He also provided some YouTube links to advanced driving. This was extremely useful for me to realise my present driving technique was influenced by my former nearly 50years ago advanced driver training. This prepared me ready for my second driver training session. I chose the route for the first hour and a half giving varied rural, dual carriageway and motorway driving. Chris then directed me through narrow village roads with tight blind bends, this covered all aspects requiring driving skills in the three and a half hour session. My second driver assessment report indicated some improvement as would be expected. I was pleased to have Chris suggest I would probably pass an advanced driving test.
To achieve excellent on all monitored aspects I think would be near impossible for me to achieve?
The purpose of undergoing performance driver training achieved my objective to become a safer and better driver in identifying my imperfections and enable me to drive my high performance vehicle as well as I can do.

Thank you Duncan for two excellent sessions which have done much to relieve my doubts and fears, after two recent speeding offences left me wondering about my driving ability. I have learned useful strategies and been introduced to technologies which I had thought beyond me, but which I know will be helpful in the future. Lets hope I master a new parking technique he taught me which will be invaluable in the urban street where we now live. To be taught in my own car and in my own environment was invaluable. Thank you Duncan, and Drivers Domain. I shall certainly recommend my sister books a session as she has not now driven for many months. I intend myself to invest in a refresher course annually.

I’m so happy I decided to invest in this course. I feel much more confident doing road trips and driving on motorways now. I used to be a nervous driver, but this course has enabled me to have the freedom to just go where I want to. I’ve learnt how to drive more safely and anticipate and solve problems before they become problems. I’ve also increased my mpg from 39 to 59. Really recommend this course, especially if you have Duncan!

Having never driven on a motorway for over 20years and rarely before then. Due to illness my husband was unable to drive for a period of time so it was imperative that I could. After having 17.5 hrs with my instructor Nick I have now been able to drive on motorways which I previously avoided. Now just building my confidence which I know I can achieve.
Nick was very encouraging and supportive and without his support would never been able to do this.
Also much more confident with local driving.

Excellent refresher and extra training, thank you!

DD organised my course very quickly and efficiently. Instructor, Ian, was fantastic. Put me at ease, very thorough and excellent teacher. Despite driving for 30 years, I feel I improved my situational awareness and defensive parking skills, plus learned many other valuable driving tips.
Only downside is that the courses are quite pricey. I booked a full day, although half would have been adequate, I guess it will depend on how much you want to cover or how many driving issues you have when choosing. All in all I would highly recommend.

On the first lesson I had with Naz it took her two hours to persuade me to leave our drive. On my last lesson four weeks later I spent close to two hours on the M25 with the remainder of the time on the M20 and A3. I will be driving 700 miles through France in a few weeks. This course has given my so much of my independence back. Kate
