We’re pleased to hear the product arrived safely, although we’re sorry the delivery experience wasn’t quite up to standard and it's frustrating that we missed out on the fifth star becuase of a third party. We use DPD for our free next-day delivery service and, in our experience, they’re usually very reliable, but unfortunately it only takes one missed doorstep courtesy to affect the overall experience. We do appreciate you bringing it to our attention and will certainly pass the feedback on. Poor Management & Communication
I initially purchased my new bike from Doble Honda in Feb 26 as part of a part exchange (PX). The Sales Team (Paul Styles) was keen, proactive & conscientious initially, which very much impressed me to be honest. There was a caveat in that I had to wait until circa 20 Apr 26 to have my new motorcycle delivered (at additional cost).
By the end of Apr 26, I’d heard nothing so I phoned Doble Honda Sales where I was told they would endeavour to find my Vehicle Sales Order (VSO) & get back to me. The Business Manager (Rob May) did eventually get back to me explaining my bike had now arrived & that they would deliver it to me in May 26.
During the PX delivery, I noticed that my new bike had the wrong seat (black not tan-brown) & the VRN plate was in a poor-quality state (see photos). The delivery team (Larry +1) assured me that my correct seat would be sent out the very next day, as per the VSO (tan-brown). After inquiring again later on with the Business Manager via email for some clarity as to whether this action had occurred, I heard nothing back so I liaised with the Sales Team via email where I was eventually apologised to for the bike not being as per my VSO (poor quality of VRN plate & wrong seat). They also explained that replacement seat could not be sourced for maybe a couple of weeks or so, by which time I’d felt totally let down & frustrated.
In the end, I ended up paying well above the RRP for a bike that did not meet the agreed VSO & consequently, purchasing a ‘quality’ VRN plate & ‘aftermarket sales’ seat myself.
Issue; throughout this whole process, I felt I was always the one chasing for things to get done & whilst you’ll hopefully get there in the end, without chasing the whole process would’ve taken even longer & I would’ve still ended up with a suboptimal bike that didn’t meet with the agreed VSO. I guess what I’m surmising is that Doble Honda are very quick to sell you vehicles but not so good at after sales management & communication? This is considerably disappointing because I’m not one to give negative views, but in this instance, it deserves one.

When you first raised this matter with us last week, Paul endeavoured to contact you by phone to discuss your concerns however you requested that all communication was via email and have since posted your reviews.
It’s great to hear that your initial dealings with Paul left a positive impression. However, we understand that frustration developed as communication became more difficult during the later stages of the process.
While we acknowledge there were delays and some issues in resolving the concerns raised, communication unfortunately became fragmented at times due to multiple email chains being sent to different members of staff simultaneously. This created some internal confusion regarding who was actively handling specific points, which contributed to slower responses than either party would have wanted.
That said, we appreciate that from your perspective the process felt drawn out and required more chasing than should have been necessary.
We aim to provide a high standard of customer care from initial enquiry through to aftersales support, and we believe this is reflected in the many positive reviews and repeat customers we continue to receive. For that reason, it is disappointing whenever communication issues impact a customer’s experience.
Your feedback has been shared internally so we can review how enquiries and ongoing cases are managed across departments, particularly where multiple points of contact are involved, to help avoid similar misunderstandings in future.
We do appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and hope that, despite the frustrations experienced, this provides some reassurance that your feedback has been taken seriously.

Had a great expereance buying a CL500
Had a great expereance buying a CL500. Paul at Dobles gave me a significantly better PX price on my ADV350 than the Honda dealer who I bought it from new and had serviced. There was such a significant differance it would have been pointless going back to see if they could match the cost. Also Paul works at night. I got a PX price at 8.30pm spoke on the phone at 9pm and by 9.30pm I'd put a deposit down. Give them a try what have you got to lose. Brilliant service would recomend Doble all day long. Thank you to Paul and Rob who kept me up to date via phone and email on the progress of the purchase and phone on the days they said they would. Cheers. Neal
