What a complete waste of money for the Santa experience for my grandson. Santa didn’t break a smile and hardly said a word to my grandson. £16, I would rather have taken him to a shop to get a decent gift instead of a cheap little game. So disappointed for him. Now I know why it was so quiet and we were the only people seeing Santa. Never again!!

Arrived at 12:45 at the cafe. Only three poor looking sandwiches left(no veggie choice). No baked potatoes, paninis or toasties. Hot selection looked pathetic. Ended up with a bowl of chips. Cakes dried out and unsure how long they been sitting for. Was asked if we had any allergies FIVE times by the time we got to the till! That would’ve been slightly more justified if there had actually been a full range of foodstuffs to choose from. The cafe area itself was in dire need of a facelift. Threadbare upholstery and dirty scraped walls. The prices they charge clearly do not reflect in the quality of food or the environment. Honestly, save your money and go somewhere else. If I could’ve given no stars I would’ve. Awful!!

2 mediocre toasties. Coffee and a drink. £23.00. Felt robbed and very underwhelmed. Then went to look for fruit trees and they had hardly any. Really won’t be back. Gave up on Dunfermline due to poor service. Will not be back to any Dobies

On purchasing a pressure sprayer I discovered on reaching home the nozzle was missing. I returned this - a round journey of some 25 miles . I was given a refund but no compensation for the time and trouble spent . I wrote to the Perth Manager but received no reply. I would advise customers to be wary of this company.

Horrible there are dead and dying plants everywhere They need WATER

Cafe awful Service was terrible as girl could not understand what I was asking re breakfast items, by the time I ordered tea and paid my breakfast was cold and not fit to eat! Worst of all tea was served in a teapot with cracked lid and spout which I am sure would not have passed Health and Hygiene Standards. I have taken picture of this!
Total waste of money and very disappointed.

After the last time thought would give dobbies another chance but it was even worse than last time 2 staff on tills 1 showing the other how to work till then she went away the other walked away my soup getting cold asked the woman on teas and coffees who was seeing she turned round the woman on till serving food stood ther said my soup getting cold she just made a face went to other till about 30 odd people waiting to get served absolutely terrible service have a dobbies card won't be renewing it's like the staff have not been trained properly or just don't care this place going down hill fast

Went to the centre in Perth, the cafe is in a disgusting state tables and floor strewn with detritus. Cutlery? Good luck the prices are insane the cakes are now bought in and £4 a slice of cake? Sandwiches are like they’ve been made by a toddler. The store is just a glorified pound shop now, the plants seem to be forgotten about and the grocery options are so over priced. There’s a smell outside that gives you a headache, the carpark is so rough and pedestrian crossing markings are almost gone. I wish I never wasted my weekend afternoon.

I enjoyed taking my time to go round the shop area and the garden area such a range of plants

The Dobbies store in Perth is well stocked but on my visit there was quite a number of people waiting to pay for goods bought in store. Only one person serving and it took him ages to summon assistance.

Great range of plants , homeware & good range of clothing. Staff always helpful & cheery. Easy parking. Nice restaurant.

For me Dobbies has been on the decline for the last 3 years. Yesterday firstly the restaurant was awful regarding cleanliness. The teapots were so stained inside, the cups not so bad but I had to rake over them to get a decent one. The cutlery was absolutely disgusting. Marked and stained and certainly not polished. Yuk!
The tables weren't that clean. Ours was sticky. I gave a similar review about 2 years ago so nothing has changed. I do not come from Perth. My mum and I regularly went to Perth because everything was excellent.
Sadly the shop upstairs was awful. Poor stock and so old fashioned. Mum and I would always spend money in there at one time.
I did spend around £90 on plants so the day wasn't all in vain.
The cheese scones we had weren't the best. Pretty dry. The highlight was the wonderful mint tea. Absolutely delicious.
I definitely won't be back which is sad as it's a nice drive up from Fife to Perth. Over 25 years Dobbies has had probably had thousands of pounds out of my purse.

Visited the restaurant at Perth.
Good choice of food and drink, tables cleared promptly.

Having shopped here at the Perth store for many years this was the first time I’ve ever been let down by Staff rudeness and indifference from a female member who was outside at the plants and containers station. When I asked where I could find a certain plant and she just pointed to an area at the far side and said there was plenty and I just had to look for them. I was also looking for deep rectangular pots to which she curtly replied that they were inside and I couldn’t miss them. Both of the items I wanted were in fact out of stock. Subsequently I went elsewhere for them. I was there about 11.30am and store was not as busy at that point as I thought it would be especially for a Bank Holiday weekend.

Good experience .Restaurant much better staffed .Everyone very friendly and helpful .Also decided at home I wanted 4 garden chairs and could not get them on line without buying a table , so sent message to Perth store and store manager Tebecca very quickly answered and has put 4 aside for me to collect next week . We live quite far from Perth

Managed to hit a quieter time which made the experience really good. Fish an chips among the best I’ve ever had!

The restaurant staff let the whole place down. The staff in all the other departments are very nice and helpful but not the cafe. Not a smile or banter. They chat and joke with each other but I have only ever found them to be brusque and unhelpful on the occasions I have been there.

Very helpful and friendly young man helped me with bags of compost but very disappointed with the restaurant. We decided to have an early lunch and all the hot food was sitting out under the heat lamp but a very abrupt man told us we couldn't have hot food until 12.00 mid day. It was 11.40 am. He then said we could have baked potatoes though. Is that not hot food???? Not impressed!!!!
