Dobbies Garden Centres - Lisburn Omdömen 296

We visited Dobbies Lisburn on 25th March.
We required information regarding poly tunnel and cold frames.
We were very impressed and delighted to receive help and assistance from Ryan the sales assistant.
He was both courteous and knowledgeable .
He also helped us to put our purchases into our car.
Overall he made our visit a pleasant experience.

Dobbies Lisburn: Hot food was readily available, and a personal touch from Rhys who explained the Over 60s Lunch deal, helped bring meals to our table. Tables were cleaned quickly, and in a quiet moment, a girl went round under tables with a quiet vacuum so it looked nice and clean. We were able to go back to the counter for a choice of desserts included in the deal. Overall a pleasant experience and I would say Rhys is a great asset to the team.

We came to the Lisburn Dobbies for lunch today. What an improvement! We waited (with a buzzer) for our meals but only a few minutes and when we got it, both meals were fresh, hot and very tasty! We also got a lovely slice of cheesecake and two coffees. The coffees were both lovely and hot. The friendliness of the staff and the service would challenge any more expensive restaurant. I think probably hygiene in the restaurant has also improved. We have visited this garden centre and cafe frequently since it opened and this has been, by far, the best experience of all. Well done to the management and of course all the staff!

I must admit it's been a while since I visited Dobbies restaurant for food. But I fondly remember the great hot food at fair prices - particularly the breakfast.
Well today I thought I'd treat myself as it's pay day and took myself over for some food. I was utterly disappointed, indeed disgusted, at what was on offer. Cold, overcooked meats Inc sausages and bacon and breads that had obviously been sitting for quite some time along with dried scrambled egg and dried out, days old beans in a pot. I asked that my breakfast be prepared fresh and I was willing to wait. Well 20 minutes later I was presented with exactly what I'd seen on the open counter. I asked for a full refund and was very begrudgingly given one. Never ever will I be back to this once thriving business and restaurant. It's a real shame it has been allowed to fall into such low standards. The store itself was empty and half the floorspace had nothing on it but empty racks. How sad. Do not go here. It's a shell of its former glory and that shows in that it was practically empty and lifeless

The staff where lovely BUT the “living” Christmas tree I bought which was supposed to keep its needles dyed dispite watering it daily
A week till Christmas and I think it will be needless by Christmas Day.

Michelle, manager of Lisburn coffee shop has greatly improved the customer service since she has started.
A case of new broom sweeps clean
A year ago 4 of us met there for coffee & scones. We had such bad service at that time, that we have never met there since AND the scones were not fresh.Now, fresh scones, new recipe & happy staff!

Dobbies in Lisburn and in Antrim both do a really good afternoon tea. Today was our third time in Lisburn and it didn't disappoint. For a 'no fuss' afternoon tea with good sandwiches and lovely desserts, this place meets all our requirements. Best of all is the staff - they are all welcoming, warm and friendly. Rhys served us today and he was great. Thank you guys!

THIS BUSINESS REALY NEEDS TO LISTEN AND ACT QUICKLY ON THE TERRIBLE RESTRAUNT REVIEWS. I WAS ASHAMED ON THE SANDWHICH PRESENTED. ONE SIDE NO BUTTER THE OTHER SIDE ONE BLOB BUTTER CENTER AND TWO THIN SLICES OF CHEESE NOTHING ELSE. OVER £4.00 I DONT THINK ANYONE AT MANAGMENT SIDE IS TAKING ANY NOTICE OF REVEIWS. ITS SHAMEFUL SERVICE AND WILL ONLY LEAD TO MORE PEOPLE AVOIDING EATING THERE. IT EMBARRASING. A BOWL OF SOUP AND WHAT THEY CALL A SANDWHICH FOR £9.50 WAS DISGUSTING AND I WILL NOT BE RETURNING AS IN ALL FAMILY MEMBERS WHO TRIED EATING THERE.

My husband and I visited the cafe at Dobbies, Lisburn on Wednesday.
My husband visited the loo before we ordered.
He took a photo of the inside of the hand dryer which was disgusting.
I’ll leave it up to the management to decide when it had last been cleaned.

I must say and take the time to make a review for the excellent experience I’ve recently received at DobbiesLisburn.
I’m no expert in the garden world. But now retired I’ve got the time.
A very helpful and knowledgeable gentleman in the outdoor plant area called Stephen was so helpful and professional. It’s so pleasant to experience such attention and advice.
I will most definitely make my new hobbies purchases and advice at Dobbies

Great visit. Stephen ( horticultural expert) helped with sorting garden planters - his plant knowledge was fantastic in selecting the right shrubs to suit. Also joined up to the Dobbies garden club. Super visit we will be back!

I've have been shopping in Dobbies Lisburn for the last few years now - all my planting is paying off, which in part is very much down to Steve in the plant area! Always so helpful, nothing is to much trouble for him, he takes the time to offer ideas on what and where to plant in the garden! Thanks Steve - always a pleasure to talk plants with you!

Shows online that an item is in stock and available for collection. Arrive to be told there is no stock and it’ll be 10-15 days for the item to be posted. Total waste of time and misleading online information.

A massive thank you to Stephen from the garden section in Dobbies. He was a gentleman and gave me great advise and help about my plants. Excellent at his job thank you.

Visited Dobbies Lisburn today and received excellent customer service from Stephen in the gardening department. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pot.

Great selection of garden products & plants

Following an email about strawberries in stock. We went to get the Cambridge variety and got lovely plants.

Went to store to buy seeds, never have I ever seen such badly stocked racks , maybe in July. Staff didn’t seem to know when there might be a restock. Seriously disappointed.

There are not enough staff serving in the restaurant.It takes ages to be served.There is one person serving breakfast,one person serving drinks and one on the till .Sometimes no one is on the till and have to wait until a staff member is free to take payment.
There used to be 4 staff serving food and drink alone.By the time you get your drink ,your meal is cold and even had to wait another 5 mins on toast being brought down to our table.Breakfast wasn't even that nice ,eggs covered in some sort of horrible oil.We were regular visitors to the restaurant for meals,but wont
be going back ,restaurant has really gone to the dogs.
