Pleasant and productive visit, pleasant time in restaurant and some good bargains in food hall

Food in restaurant very nice meal

Overcharged again. Tomato feed was supposed to be £10 for two, but charged 2 x £5.99. Losing my custom in the future

Went to Restaurant, no coffee - had to use automated dispensing coffee machine - tasted like mud !
Shall not be going there again!

Good plants. Some items not clearly priced and needed to be priced at the checkout. Nice coffee, rolls ok, salad not properly washed.

Good selection of flowers and all the bits and bobs to make sure your garden sparkles all year round.. good selection of food in the cafeteria at a reasonable price

Pleasant atmosphere in the garden centre and the restaurant. Happy, cheerful staff in all areas. Good, well tended plants etc. Also some good bargains to be had.

We went to grab lunch and coffee, the staff were brilliant and very helpful, also checkout lady, nothing too much trouble

Reduced plants put through at full price at till. I had to go back and have it corrected when I looked at receipt. Also lots of stock with no price labels on or faded in sun to be unreadable. Good helpful staff but the place is understaffed.

I bought some garden furniture. The staff that I asked about it were friendly and helpful and I’m pleased with the look and quality of the furniture.

I have been a customer and a club member for quite a few years now. Visited many times and bought various items over the years. Very good quality and excellent service. The restaurant is exceptional. The staff are very friendly and efficient. We enjoy our free drink every month. Thank you for my birthday treat of a cake and drink of our choice. We shall continue to visit your garden centre and renew my club membership.

Went for a free birthday tea and cake and ended up spending £60. Why do you do this to me, Dobbies!! 😂

I was a little disappointed as the service yesterday wasn't up to your usual standard :/ There was only one person on the tills and a massive queue. The man on the till seemed irritated when one of our plants hadn't got a a price label. There was an offer of £5 for two alpine plants and we had 10, but he wasn't happy to just put the unlabelled one through.
Then we had a tray of plants reduced to £1 but that also didn't have a label on, so my 82 year old mum went trotting off to find one that did because the man didn't believe us!! He wasn't actually rude, but he certainly wasn't helpful or friendly.
If that was someone's first experience of your store they probably wouldn't want to go back. I have to say that I usually find the staff to be very helpful and I will be back, but I'm more likely to go to the Shenstone centre rater than go back to the Gailey one though.

I would give it 5 but it was so hot in the restaurant area. Most of the fans were on a go slow and the roof windows were shut but I think they have not been open in years they maybe stuck. Side windows did give a little relief.

Good choice of quality plants and a pleasant cafe offering a good choice on the menu. Tables well spaced and everywhere clean with empty tables cleared promptly.
