5 stars due to great customer service on a very hot Saturday afternoon, 23rd May. I stopped to ask the lady watering the plants how to repot little olive trees. George came over to help me carry the heavy bags of grit and soil, and even put them in my car for me. I asked for his name at the till. Many thanks George.

we joined the que got our tea and sat down waiting on the food order 45 mins have passed and still no food.

I bought Bramblecrest rattan garden furniture from Dobbies, for over £1600, which subsequently started breaking down after very light usage. Following customer service enquiries with Dobbies and Bramblecrest, they were entirely unhelpful and refused to do anything about the broken furniture, even though it was under a 3 year guarantee. Absolutely useless, total lack of customer service, and would NOT recommend buying any expensive furniture from them OR Bramblecrest. Totally not fit for purpose and guarantee is about as much use as a chocolate teapot so don’t rely on it.

Do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.

We arrived just before 11.30 for coffee and pastries. Whilst joining the queue we spotted croissants for sale and determined to have some. Despite a very small queue it was very slow and by the time I was served I was told that some magic time border had been crossed and due to a head office dictat I could no longer be sold croissants! To be fair the member of staff agreed it made no sense but was bound by the senseless ruling. After an appeal to a manager with common sense we were allowed croissants which were retrieved from under the counter. The coffee and food was actually very nice but why did I have to fight for it? Get a grip Dobbies Head Office. Incidentally, during the debate a long queue of frustrated customers formed who all agreed with my position.

I was a guest of friends who had made an Afternoon Tea Reservation. On arrival, no table was allocated or laid up for this 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. No serviettes were supplied and I had to ask twice for them. They were eventually handed to me all scrunched up like you would take tissues out of a box. A very disappointing experience but the food was very nice.

Was able to get runner bean plants as I've had a problem with seed germination this year

We arrived n it was lovely to see all the pots with flowers n greenery felt so welcome. The whole shop was well everything was displayed so lovely I bought a yellow orchid
We went to the cafe we had a cappuccino and a tea the cakes were out of this world n not expensive
