Dobbies Garden Centres - Aberdeen Omdömen 428

For the last 3 visits to Dobbies Aberdeen I have picked something up thinking of buying it to find no price on either the item or the shelf it was on. If they want customers to buy their stock please put prices on. Customers shouldn't have to find an employee to ask for the price of goods!!!!

Excellent idea for new members to get a boost of 100 points

Staff unwelcoming as you enter restaurant. Had ran out of soup and indeed Prawn Mayo and it wasn’t even 2:30pm. Staff disinterested and some wearing hair nets and some not at food preparation areas. Overpriced given quality of food. No customer service focus or a smile to be seen in the place. Would not go back.

Went to Fishkeeper at Dobbies in Aberdeen this afternoon, Cara the assistant was excellent and most helpful in advising me on the correct product for my pond extension.

I ordered online for collection, the next day I arrived at the store, the order had not been sent to the store for picking, the assistant fount the order which had an additional plant added by the system, she refunded it and asked for the order to be picked, the picked order had 2 items missing, she went to pick those, returned with the wrong type, another assistant went to change them, returned with only one, had another trip to get the second item.
9 days later I have not had a refund, however a pending charge for the full order is on my credit card.
I called customer service, who couldn’t change anything, he would have to pass it to delivery, I called the store who said they would have to look into it!

Tried several times to call Dobbies Aberdeen . Each time automated voice tells me , no one available to take the call and immediately cuts me off .
Sorry Dobbies I’ll buy my furniture elsewhere 😡

This has gone downhill for some time now ,thought trip out last week give restaurant another try .Absaloutley shocking breakfast got returned asked for refund they also served some sort of toast which was brocken split and you couldn't hold it without it falling but you could post through your letter box we will never go back also take a look at food and service at dunfermline branch they do table service hot fresh food and a smile .....

Dobbies Restaurant, Aberdeen

Yesterday was my son’s second birthday. We had a very busy day – we were at the playground and had planned to finish it off with hot chocolate. Unfortunately, we arrived at Dobbies just ten minutes after closing time. I won’t lie, we were very disappointed, especially because I had promised my sons hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. I was just about to say “oh no…” when something lovely happened.

A gentleman who worked in the restaurant, along with the manager, called us over and said it wasn’t a problem – they’d be happy to make it for us.

Such friendly, kind people. It really made our day. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Noticed after returning home, out of date box of chocolates purchased in Dobbies Aberdeen. Also seal broken on chocolates.
Returned following day for a refund and got an "OK thanks buddy" from the manager before he walked away.
I've just travelled 30mins there and back. When i asked "is that it?" I quote, I was informed "not sure what else you expect from us" from the dobbies rep.
As opposed to making your customers sound unreasonable, can I remind you it was YOUR negligence, how about treat the customer with some respect?!
I'm not expecting my fuel paid, nor can my time be refunded.. Nor the other plans I had this morning cancelled to iron this out (over a box of chocolates!!) just some actual respect, apology and even a hint of understanding. Pathetic!
Shall discuss with customer support team as waste of time in branch as not letting the it lie now after the way I was treated.

I was at the Aberdeen branch for lunch

We asked for soup and sandwich am my wife asked for ham and cheese they point blank refused to add cheese to the sandwich so we just said fine and moved on

I went to sit down and this little woman cleaner abruptly said I’m not done cleaning this table she was very rude about it

And then to top it off £2.25 a can of juice

Like I’m sorry but I won’t be back after the service and the carry on with the adding some cheese to sandwich

Excellent service from staff and a tasty meal in the café.

I love the Dobbies at New Park Farm setup, layout and flow. Attractive and inspiring. Absolutely love the cakes and bakes too. I decided I wanted to become a member and asked at the counter about this. I asked a staff member and he said that it costs £15 and listed all the benefits (savings, offers rewards). However, he did not tell me this was the Dobbies Club Plus and that there was another membership and this was free of charge. I would have liked to have had all the options and a choice but only recently discovered that the Club Plus is not the only membership option. I feel duped and cheated. I don’t disagree that the benefits are good but not to have given me the full picture of available memberships has left a bitter taste.

The goods that we needed was easy to fine and the check out staff nice and friendly thank you.

Got some lovely bedding plants, some even reduced!! Unfortunately, they didn't have one thing I wanted, but overall happy with my visit.

This centre is really starting to look run down. Car park needs resurfacing. Restaurant is a shambles with the help yourself coffee and tea area appearing neglected - we went to get coffee for the today as the queue at the main counter was slow due to the constant time gobbling manufacture of ground coffee products. Unfortunately the separate coffee making machine showed an error after the second cup due to a 'drawer full error' so we grabbed a tea. The area was covered in spilt milk as usual (terrible milk pouring jugs) and the tea bags were running short. I went with the intention of buying plants but oh dear another usually well catered for area looked neglected too with many dry looking plants. I didn't buy. We decided to give the place a miss for a while.

Experience was seamless, our teller was very helpful.

A member of staff helped us get some capillary matting and when discussing what I would use it for he gave us advice to stop slugs get into flower pots. Fantastic idea which I have used now. Really helpful man. A credit to the team.
