Quality Review of My Tutor at Distance Learning Centre
I am very grateful to have Tracey as my tutor, as she is kind and supportive. She has helped me academically by giving me guidance, explaining things clearly, and helping me feel more confident with my work. She is always friendly and approachable, which makes a big difference to me because I feel comfortable asking questions whenever I am unsure or need extra help. She never makes me feel like I am bothering her, and she always takes the time to make sure I understand what I need to do.
I really appreciate the way she supports me outside of lessons as well. Whenever I am stuck, she answers my emails and gives me the guidance I need. She also rings me every week for updates, which shows me that she genuinely cares about how I am getting on and wants me to do well. Her encouragement and support have helped me stay motivated and on track, and I feel very lucky to have her as my tutor.
A specific example of her support was when I was stuck on my assessment. She took the time to call me and also emailed me to help explain what I needed to do. This made me feel much less worried and gave me the confidence to carry on with my work.
Because of the support I have received, I would recommend Distance Learning Centre to anyone, including my family and friends. My experience has been very positive, and I feel well supported throughout my learning journey.

The flexibility and ability to work at your own pace makes HE accessible. The tutors aren't amazing at teaching, the materials are okay, some are terrible but some are good. Working remotely means technical problems and they usually happen at really inconvenient times so be prepared and they use word for everything, be prepared. If you have a learning disability there is little support, sounds good at the start with the needs assessment but the tutors aren't told so you still need to advocate for yourself with every new tutor. I expereinced tutors making fake deadlines to keep me 'on track' even though I was working on my own fine which I communicated in my ILP which was claerly never read by my tutors. Their intervention led to some serious panics and hyperfocus leading to physical health problems (my vision went tunneled literally, it was scary). I am a very independent worker and I was considering just buying a book, studying and taking the A Level exams but thought I would benefit from outside structure. I would have got the grades to get into university anywhere I study which is why I was successful here. But I do wish I had just bought a book and taken the exams.

Learning with DLC helped me achieve what I thought was impossible after leaving college early. From start to finish, the tutors and the learning materials were excellent. Any queries I had were responded to quickly and efficiently, making learning online so easy! I have now secured a place at my top university for September!

I really like how independent it is. The tutors are always helpful as well. The format of the website is so easy to follow once you get used to it.

Loved this course! I had such a great tutor & everything was easy to access and all the instructions were explained clearly! It was overwhelming at first to see all the new information but everything is answered and the support is amazing when you are confused:) I would definitely say this course very independent in terms of learning your subject but for me that works so well as i work better independently anyway so honestly loved this course so much, changed my life for the better & hopefully will be getting to uni all because of DLC:) thank you so much 🥹

Distance learning Centre has been amazing in helping me achieve my dream come true, the quality of the course materials were to an excellent standard, very detailed, easy to navigate and extremely helpful for studying and completing my assessments. Both my tutors Ruth and Zoe were incredible, consistently supporting me with anything i needed and always responded promptly, ensuring i got the right support and resources. The UCAS resources and advice were excellent and i especially liked the detailed and easy to follow PowerPoint on the DC website.

The course materials were excellent and my tutor was attentive and supportive. I feel as though I've expanded academic skills and feel well-prepared for university which is largely the result of studying through this company with the help of my tutor.

It has allowed me to achieve my goal of attending university, but also allowed me to do this whilst maintaining employment throughout the learning process and not feel any significant disadvantages to either.

Would highly recommend for anybody that is considering long distance learning/balancing their current responsibilities in life with learning.

Mostly perfect, very flexible, kind and helpful tutors, they were unable to provide me with a UCAS reference. And it can be very pricey if you cannot complete the course fast enough. Handy for working from home. SAQS do feel a bit time consuming.

The course was informative, well-structured, and easy to follow throughout. The learning materials were clear and engaging. It helped improve both my knowledge and confidence in nursing before I study the degree.

It's more than 45 minutes a day, but it provides an opportunity to those later on in life to get access to better work. The instructors are helpful and their feedback is fair.

I recently completed the Access to HE Diploma in Business through distance learning, and I had a very positive experience overall. Everything throughout the course was smooth and well organised from start to finish.

The tutors were really helpful, supportive, and quick to respond whenever I needed guidance. The course materials were clear and easy to follow, which made studying from home much more manageable.

I was able to complete the course on time and successfully pass, and I’m very happy with the support I received throughout the programme. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a flexible way to continue their education and progress towards university or a career in business.
