All advising given by Discover Africa (in our case, by Justin Van Wyk) was really helpful and the programe they have outlined was great. Everything went really smooth and professional.

We booked our safari trip through Justin van Wyk from Discover Africa, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
He organized and booked everything from A to Z, so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all. Throughout the entire trip, we stayed in close contact, and he regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well.
We are extremely satisfied with his work and truly appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail.

Justin planned the best safari for our honeymoon. Everything was coordinated smoothly and the arrangements could not have been better. We are hoping to take another trip to South Africa in the future and will be using Discover Africa again. Justin was available for any questions we had during our safari and checked in to ensure we were good. A fantastic experience!!

Chrizaan arranged an amazing safari experience for six of us, who came from the UK and Australia. She secured our booking at a superb Lodge in the Kruger at relatively short notice, tied in the flight transfers and ensured that the whole experience ran smoothly. She was extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We felt that we were in very capable hands, and Chrizaan was a delight to correspond with.

This was honestly the most perfect and well planned vacation I have ever taken. Justin at Discover Africa had every detail taken care of and we were treated like Royalty. It exceeded my expectations and was the thrill of a lifetime.

This was my 6th trip to South Africa and Botswana and, as always, Matthys van Aswegen made it a happy, safe, and exciting experience! My roommate, Glenna, and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to South Africa's Boulders Beach to visit the African Penguin Reserve and all the beautiful scenery in that area. Another Discover Africa staff member, Kayla Robson, joined Glenna and me for dinner one evening and it was such a delight getting acquainted with another Discover Africa person whose talents enrich the travel experience.
When we arrived in Botswana we were so pleased to have the two guides I have always requested and, even though I've been at Camps Moremi and Savute before, they provided us with safaris that added to my previous experiences, learning new things about animal behavior and, the bonus, twice seeing a cheetah - a cat I hadn't yet seen in Botswana!
And I'm already planning my next trip to these two fabulous countries!

South Africa is an amazing place, made batter by Susan who planned our trip. From the outset emails where prompt and efficient with lots of advice and ideas. Everything was planned with precision.
Cape Town was incredible, the V&A and Table Mountain are must do's. The hop on off bus is a great way to see the area and get about. I definitely recommend this company to plan your trip.

For organising just a great trip Every destination was different but all the accommodation was first class The managers were first class and always had my transfers in hand Took the helicopter ride at Victoria Falls really add to the wal along the Falls The people in Botswana are wonderful and happy really added to the stay. Working with Susan made our experience just perfect. She has everything organized and it all went so well. Her recommendations were perfect. We loved the safaris she chose, the lodges, guides, staff and the experience were wonderful.

As a party of seven guests we found the travel arrangements seamless and the accommodation well suited to both older and younger members. In addition, we were of mixed bush experience with some seasoned safari members and some first timers. The Lodges and especially the guides were able to accommodate all levels of interest and discussion. We stayed at a lodge in the Chobe concession (our experienced and wise guide was Lebo) as well as in the delta in the Khwai concession (our guide Biyst was approachable and knowledgeable). The Lodges were well appointed, comfortable and the service friendly and impeccable. Discover Africa’s organizational skills were spot on! This was both affordable and value for money. They are clearly the experts in this area and we can highly recommend them especially for first timer safari travellers.

Megan Warrington was amazing to work with. She was very informative and kept us up to date on everything. I found out that I would need to have surgery a few days after returning from the trip and asked Megan if she would be able to arrange for a wheelchair to be at the airports and activities we had planned. She got everything scheduled and sent me confirmations within a short period of time...That is what you call service!!!!!

Matthys van Aswegen of Discover Africa went above and beyond to plan a two week trip for myself and my family (6 travelers) through multiple African countries that was unforgettable! There were many moving parts to our schedule, but every step was thoroughly planned out so there was no stress - first class service all around! We were provided tickets and vouchers beforehand, Matthys thoroughly walked us through the activities and schedule, and was very receptive to all of our feedback and requests. The clear standout of our entire trip was our stay at Simbambili with our incredible guide and tracker, Doctor and Service. They are worth a request! Obviously a ton of work went into the planning up front, but Matthys was also very helpful and responsive to our last minute add-ons while we were in Africa. He was easy to contact and got back to all members of our party immediately. We would use Discover Africa for our next African adventure in a heartbeat, and we recommend their services to you!

We had a wonderful safari experience, and Justin from Discover Africa made everything seamless from start to finish. Communication before the trip was clear and helpful, and we felt well supported throughout.

We travelled last August on a trip planned with Dev at Discover Africa. It was a family trip that i wanted us to remember forever and we definetly will! We could not have had an easier or more wonderful time and we would never have been able to plan and manage it ourselves. We visited Botsana, Victoria Falls and Sabi Sands in Sth Africa then Mozambique. Every experience was better than we had hoped. Everyone who was part of our experience was so helpful and friendly and went the full measure to make sure we enjoyed our special holiday. We were so lucky with every safari and saw so many animals, we had wonderful river trips seeing a great deal of wildlife, beautiful birds and even crocs eating a kill rather than just sunbathing. Everyday bought another surprise. Thank you to Dev and the team - your help was so appreciated.

I used Discover Africa services for organizing our South African safari. Justin was our organizer, he did an excellent job. He was very communicative, responsive and very helpful. He helped us all the way and kept in contact also during the Safari. I will definitely be in touch for my future plans.

We had a truly magical safari experience perfectly planned & organised for us by Susan Veldman at Discover Africa.

We flew from Cape Town to Hoedspruit and then seamlessly transferred to the most beautiful lodge in the Karongwe private game reserve. We stayed at Kuname Lodge and it was perfect, the setting, the staff and the lodges were all wonderful and the food was amazing. The game drives from the lodge were so well organised and we saw so much big game.

The transfer back to airport and flight back to Cape Town were also seamless so the whole experience is everything we could have asked for.

If anyone asks me where to look when booking a South Africa adventure then I would say that they do not have to look any further than Susan!

I visited Namibia and loved seeing the dunes, springboks and oryx.

I also visited the Okavango Delta and saw so many animals including all of the big 5.

I was recommended Discover Africa by a friend who raved about them for their African Safari adventure and they didn't disappoint. From the start the communication was timely, despite the time zone difference, and the advice was thorough and precise. It seemed to me that our agent, Susan, was always available no matter what time I was communicating with her. More than that she regularly checked in with me during our trip to make sure all was going well and checked us in for all our internal flights ahead of time.
The first thing Susan did was to find out what we wanted from our trip and then used that to tailor an itinary that met all our desires. Susan's intimate knowledge of tourism in Africa had us booked into game reserves and guides in South Africa and Kenya which had all the big 5 on display plus more. The accommodation and tour guides she organised were fantastic.
Thanks to Susan we have had an African adventure taking in Karongwe and Masai Mara game reserves, Victoria Falls and the beautiful city of Cape Town which has provided photos, videos and memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We have just returned from the most incredible 2 week trip in Africa, travelling to Kruger National Park, Cape Town and Victoria Falls - it was made all the more special by the incredible guidance, planning and organisation of Discover Africa, specifically Cayleigh. During the planning stage, nothing was ever too much trouble - they went to great lengths to listen to what we wanted in terms of destinations and type of accommodation and it all ended up being EXACTLY what we were looking for! The trip itself was seamless, with every single pre-arranged transfer and activity being on schedule. Cayleigh also provided contact details and checked in on us during the trip, to ensure everything was going smoothly. There is also a post trip check-in. Discover Africa provide an extraordinary service and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

In terms of the trip itself, there are just too many highlights to list but some of them were - extraordinary animals on safari and absolutely gorgeous Thornybush Lodge in Kruger, penguins and Table Mountain in Cape Town and basically everything in Zimbabwe - Shongwe Lookout was an intimate boutique hotel, sunset cruise (so many hippos!), elephant encounter, Victoria Falls and Lookout cafe, visit to a local village and the Simunye: Spirit of Africa show. We just want to go back and do it all again!

I can honestly say this was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had — and a lot of that is down to the exceptional planning and support from Megan and the team. This is not the first time we have travelled with Go2Africa and it won’t be the last!

From the first conversation, the whole process was effortless. Their knowledge, patience, and attention to detail gave us total confidence before we even stepped on the plane. During the safari, they checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly, which was such a reassuring touch. Even after returning home, their follow-up support showed a level of care you rarely see.

The safari itself was unforgettable. Highlights for us were seeing animals from the Shalati train, lions at sunrise, elephants casually strolling past our lodge, and a rare leopard sighting that felt straight out of a nature film. The guides were outstanding — incredibly skilled, passionate, and full of fascinating insights. The lodges were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, with warm hospitality and amazing food.

If you’re thinking about booking a safari, do it — but do it with them. They don’t just plan a trip, they create memories that stay with you forever.
