This is a scam... I paid $300 for a one-year subscription to my local newspaper and they said they never received any payments from this company. The newspaper said that they had numerous issues with this seller and it has never been resolved. I called the seller and they they said to contact the newspaper for "assistance". The seller won't even try to help and won't refund my money.
Too good to be true a $24.95/month subscription. The paper does not recognize this vendor and when I tried to reach them on the "Contact us" I received error message. Had to call the bank and stop payment.
A big big scam. They say they work with your local newspaper. They do not! I've called my local newspaper 4 times now and still haven't received the subscription. they had a booth at a farmers market and then again at the town fair. Don't waste your money.
I paid for a 12 month subscription. I've been getting it weekly so far. They were a little slow on delivery around Christmas. I don't have any complaints. I've been receiving the Washington Times National Weekly from them.
Same happened to me, took my money, no newspaper, and they now say they are a "third party biller", call the paper. Sure, because nobody answers the phone these days, typical exploiter, scam system, write your AG, maybe they'll look into these fools. Paper won't be on your side because they don't want to discount a newspaper few read these days when it's all online, I got this for my grandfather for the crosswords, no good deed goes unpunished, karma please?
DO NOT subscribe through this agent, they will take your money and you won't get a refund, or newspaper; they claim to be third party, and have no responsibility after your money is gone; and they refer you to the newspaper, who doesn't recognize the highly discounted rate. Now the newspaper is billing me for a paper I never ordered through them; 2 other room mates living here. They are trying to retroactively charge me, I reported this to the credit bureau, but it's a mute point since I have Oral Cancer so my long term credit or any action towards them is a mute point.
I got no email confirmation after I placed an order. I couldn't find a phone number on their site, and had to use Google to find a number. I left a message, and no one called me back. 3 days later, I got a reply to my email to their contact email address, saying my email confirmation went to a different email address, which I would assume would've been returned to them for being undeliverable. I never got contacted by the newspaper I tried to order either.
