I have to concur with other reviewers in that in my experience DC appear to be exploiting insurance companies, (Policy Expert in conjunction with Trinity in my example) who employ their services. A DC plumber attended my disabled, vulnerable 86 year old moms residence because of a leaking toilet which was leaking soil waste on to her bathroom floor. We received a same day call out but the plumber said he would have to gum up the leak as a new Flexi pipe flange needed to be replaced to repair the leak. Trinity who appoint DC then refused to cover the removal of the toilet to replace the flange, I can't see the AA coming to repair a tyre and saying they can do the repair as they need me to get someone else out to remove the wheel first!!! DC said her £250 excess had all been used on the call out and gum repair then wanted another £354. She was quoted £354.44 to complete the repair the Flexi pipe... the pipe can be bought for less than £15... this seems a huge mark-up to me. The company seems to be taking advantage of both the Insurance company but more so the end-user. Furthermore there is no transparency in charges, when I asked Trinity for DC's justification of the £250 fee for a call out and gum repair I was told that this was not available, what are Policy Experts, who appoint Trinity who in turn appoint DC doing to see that they and their Customers are getting fair charges without being ripped off!

Very pleasant employees from Disaster Care team from Scotland East. Following a fire in our village hall, all smoke damaged contents were removed, cleaned, stored and returned perfectly. All happed when advised and as advised

I had a nightmare with getting passed round company to company with my insurance claim and finally got to disaster care. I was so annoyed with the entire process until jacob answered the phone and was so understanding and kind. He got everything sorted for me and went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. He was a pleasure to talk to. I had honestly given up before he sorted it all out for me. Thank you jacob and thank you disaster care. I hope i never have a leak again but if i do you’ll be my first call.

Hair product leaked out of a canvas bag onto both cushions o my two seater settee.
Technicians arrived promptly and were very polite and wore masks at all times ..work was carried out and I was updated on completion which was within 1 hour of arrival.
The suite was cleaned to a high standard and left to dry out completely. Technicians would call in afternoon to ensure the water line was gone.

Had a recent leak in our kitchen. Prompt and courteous response from Stephen and his team (Andrew and Ryan) from Disaster Care. Tiles lifted from floors and regular checks to ensure floor and wall have dried, ready to move to the next stage of the process. Thankyou Stephen

After discovering water pouring through my kitchen ceiling spotlights from the bathrooms above I was besides myself.Disaster Care (David) were assigned to T&A the fault and from my initial phone conversation with David his calm,professional,reassuring attitude was very apparent.Upon his arrival at our home he carefully assessed the situation before placing ground sheets etc to ensure as little mess as possible then with great precision he speedily and accurately located two separate leaks.He remained calm and collected and made as little interference as possible to our ceiling.His communication and reassurance were second to none and he made the whole experience as stress free as possible for us.I don’t believe I have dealt with any work man displaying such professionalism and would highly recommend Disaster Care and in particular David to anyone.He made a horrible situation as hassle free as possible.Thank you

We had Stephen David and their crew move all our belongings into their storage and weeks later bring it all back and put it in its place. Their storage is even heated. Every thing that this team did was done with great care and precision with not one thing damaged or misplaced. This was a two day out and same in. My wife and I can not speak highly enough of all five who in the most professional and cheerful way completed this mammoth task. We fully recommend them. Margaret and Jim G

Disaster Care have been excellent. Damage was caused in my house as a result of a leak. This was a stressful experience and Disaster Care dealt with the situation in a professional and courteous manner. They went 'over and beyond' what might be expected by being available to contact if I had any concerns (re driers installed). Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent service received after we had a pipe burst which was buried in the concrete floor of our house unknown to us. Disaster Care just got on with the job and kept us informed of what they were doing at every stage. They were here the same day and although it was a nightmare situation for my family they took care of it and caused us as little inconvenience as possible.

Back in July we suffered a house fire and lost the vast majority of our possessions. DisasterCare were appointed to inspect our home and salvage what ever items where possible. Andy, Sandra and Claire and the team have been fantastic. They have treated us with care and compassion at what has been a horrific time in our lives. They have gone over and above to salvage some of our most precious items (those sentimental items that cannot be replaced)

They have kept us informed of the progress every step of the way. Whilst our home is being rebuilt they are keeping our only remaining items safe.
