I was brought in contact with DaricPay through my guide who offered this as an alternative to get an Iranian credit card as the bank at the airport couldn't provide it. I'm more than greatfull for this as this card is amazing, except for taxi you can do everything with it and so you don't have to drag a ridiculous amount of cash with you. The service was also excellent and very friendly. The app is also great, but I should mention with this that its still in beta so some bugs can come up. So don't panic if there is a problem and contact the organisation first.

The DaricPay card was very useful throughout our time in Iran, for two reasons: foreign debit and credit cards don’t work in the country, and most payments in Iran are made by card and hardly ever by cash anyway, except, perhaps, taxi fares. The DaricPay staffer we met at the Imam Khomeini airport was excellent: professional, informative and pleasant to deal with. A couple of things to point out though: first, don’t get flustered by the Arabic numbers on ATM keypads and card machines, and second, if you do get flustered and end up typing the wrong password - as I did - and the card gets blocked - which happened in my case - please contact DaricPay and not a local bank to help you get a replacement password. I did the daft thing by visiting a local bank where the staff were extremely helpful and lovely to deal with, but the process of securing a new password took two hours. That said, I strongly recommend buying a DaricPay card before you fly into Iran. It is tops!

A good tips to travel in Iran !! If you've plan a roadtrip in Iran it's the better solution to avoid the cash problem. You comand a card before your arrival. And you can have the delivery at your hotel (or at the airport if you prefer), you charge it with cash or with a virment. After you have your own card and you can paid everywhere with it... Perfect! This is a five stars service with whatsapp chat (really reactiv, thank you very much Arya!!). At your return, they made a virment with the remaining balance, simple as it is!

Utilisée pour un voyage en Iran en août 2019, c'est la meilleure solution pour éviter de se promener avec du cash et contourner le pbl des cartes internationales. On installe l'appli avant de partir, puis on commande sa carte. Pour la récupérer : soit à l'aéroport à l'arrivée ou alors même livrée à l’hôtel sur rdv ! On peut la recharger par virement ou alors sur place en espèces. Un sav hyper réactif, du 5 étoiles pour le service - merci beaucoup Arya ! Au retour, si il reste de l'argent sur la carte, un virement et c'est réglé. Bref un service au top à faire connaître !

I was a bit nervous about using Daricpay but it turned out to be very helpful during my trip to Iran.

We had one during our trip across Iran in August 2019. Excellent service, works everywhere even in the smallest shops and all ATM's. The website provides an easy tracking of your payments. The customer service is first class, and the leftover from our trip was easily transferred back to my account. We will be back in Iran with Daricpay.

Thanks to DaricPay we (Two Spanish friends sharing one card) managed to travel for 23 summer days around Iran without worrying about carrying big amounts of cash with us. Every place we visited accepted payments with it and had ATMs from which we could withdraw money every day. The support team was always helping us very quickly, mainly on our last days, when we had to charge again the card from our foreign bank account, which we got to do without any problems. Overall, it was the best choice for our trip to Iran.

My experience with Daricpay was very positive. The card is accepted everywhere. in this way we avoid changing money and paying with banknotes, which is a complicated undertaking for those who, like me, have difficulty in coming to terms quickly. The organization is very efficient and the managers are very kind. On return, if you have not spent all the money you are reimbursed in various ways, depending on your needs. Definetly, it’s easy to use and a great idea to pay in Irán with Daric card.

I was not sure about whether to get an Iranian Credit card or not but I'm really pleased that I did. It worked straightaway, you can use it anywhere, and while Iran is a really safe country, a card is always safer than cash. If you're coming to Iran put it on the top of your list.

No problems while using the card. Easy to set up. Very reliable company. Would recommend 100%.
