had my transmission completely replaced and was charged over $7k. the. the trans torque converter went out less than year later... after being told the parts were new. they did replace it for free but when I got my car back the exhaust flex pipe on the exhaust was damaged . they claimed it "must've be damaged already" but funny I had the exhaust completely replaced a little over a year prior so it was brand new. these people did trash work and refused to fix what they broke on my car. take your vehicle to somewhere else.

The best service you will find anyplace in this area. I do most of the work on my cars some things I wont touch because number one I don't have all the tools need for a job such as rebuilding my automatic transmission. My 2004 Explorer 4 x 4 had 265,000 miles and it was the original Transmission. It was always serviced and in clean condition when it broke down. I checked pricing rebuilds and new from Ford/ motor craft. And buying a new transmission direct. One competitor never returned my request for a quote. Cough cough Danco. Mike at Cottman is honest and true to his words. I had my Explorer towed to Cottman's in Eastgate and like he said the Job was completed in 3 days. His price was right in line. The guys who worked on my car are real professional's. They did a great job everything is working smooth and great. No messy greasy hand prints all over the car inside outside and even under the car plus the drain pain is supper Clean. Everyone at Cottman's Did a great job. You wont find a better place to trust your car

We have liked Cottman for several years. However, I had an issue where they were having troubles finding the noise. I gave them my car while I was out of town to try and find it. I was told they found it and it would cost $1,400. Well, I told them to go ahead, but when I got the car back I do not know what they fixed (if anything in reality) but the noise is still that it concerns me. it is something that comes and goes and sometimes is really loud.

Excellent service and follow up when a problem arose with a remanufactured transmission. New parts were ordered, then installed as part of the original price, a demonstration of a solid three year performance warranty.

Both Nick and Mike provided me with top notch service, both on the car and their customer service. My transmission was replaced on my 2008 Mercury Milan at a very fair price and when my Speedometer sensor went bad 1 month after the transmission I was not charged for anything to get it replaced. Very fine people at a very fine business. Would recommend to anyone needing any type of transmission service. Thanks Nick and Mike.

Nick and Mike were extremely helpful in getting my truck repaired quickly. I smoked the tranny on my 2001 Silverado and after a thorough inspection, Mike explained to me everything that needed to be done in a way that I could understand it. The work was done in a timely manner and came in a little under budget. On top of that I got a 2year warranty that covers parts and labor anywhere in the Country. I wouldn’t hesitate taking any vehicle to Cottman if you live on the east side of Cincinnati
