Lewis Greenman of Convey Law was most helpful with the conveyancing for my remortgage, communicating well with both myself and my mortgage broker. It was a time sensitive issue and I am most grateful that everything was completed well before the end date.

My son and his partner bought a house a few weeks ago using Convey Law Newport. This is the first house that they have bought and Convey Law knew this. Convey Law did not explain anything to them, my son could not get hold of them. I have been a conveyancing secretary for a firm of Solicitors for over 40 years. I have since retired, but I had to explain what all the legal documents meant, the search results etc. which should have been the responsibility of Convey Law. If you asked a question Convey Law would first say that this would cost so much extra. They were already charging my son and his partner £1,500, so obviously their business is all about making as much money as possible first before helping the clients. I consider Convey Law are totally unprofessional and should be given a wide berth.

My experience has been wonderful. Sophie Carey was so professional and I appreciate her kind assistance in answering my questions. Sophie kept me up todate with the conveyancing process and I am very pleased with the results. Jazmine also needs a special mention!

I had a very poor experience with Convey Law throughout almost the entire conveyancing process. From start to finish I was constantly chasing unanswered emails and phone calls, sometimes waiting weeks for a response.

The lack of communication caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress and very nearly resulted in me losing the property altogether. The buyers were threatening to pull out, and the estate agent had to step in repeatedly—often trying to contact Convey Law most days, not always successfully—to keep things moving and reassure everyone involved.

It felt like there was no ownership of my case. I was passed between different people, many of whom seemed inexperienced, and nothing moved forward unless I or the estate agent chased it.

Only in the final couple of weeks, when a new conveyancer called Sophie took over, did things finally start to progress properly and get sorted. Unfortunately by that point, the damage had already been done in terms of stress and time lost.

They may be cheap, but it really is a false economy. Based on my experience, the stress and risk involved were absolutely not worth the saving.
