I received a lot of help and answers for my questions from the support team. Thanks to Zack especially for going over everything and answering my questions promptly.

Thank you Zack for helping me get through a tough time in life. I appreciate your help finding a nice place to say in a short time frame. All is well and I can’t wait to move in this week.

Leslie your are an awesome person as well and were very helpful to me trying to get passed a system bug regarding my first payment. Thanks for being patient and I glad you where able to help point me in the right direction into getting the ball rolling.

The Common Team Member was attentive to my request, Common kept me up-to-date for the scheduled appointment for a Plumbing issue.

I am LIVID. After patiently enduring being ignored for months, I wrote a review outlining the various problems I’ve encountered while living here. After being told to “email common member services” in a reply, despite my post’s statement that I have been mostly ignored through email, Common seemed to have addressed every issue I was currently facing at the time. Because of this, I took down my review, as it seemed as though they were finally following through on their end of the lease (turning on AC, bringing supplies, sending renewal offer, etc.). However, shortly after removing my review, Common called me rescinding my renewal offer and raising it, despite having TWO emails confirming the prices of the different leasing terms. I could go on about the treatment we have received here, but I will keep it short: you have to fight and beg for them to hold up their end of the lease, and it’s a constant battle. I should not be this stressed out by the place that I live. The lack of communication is astounding and the staff does not care at all

Common Coliving touts itself as an affordable, friendly and flexible living alternative when in actuality it’s a faceless, unethical startup.

I originally decided to join Common because I was looking for a low-cost, short term rental in the city while I awaited the closing date of my house. Upon signing of a lease their Conversion Specialist Janine Macasinag called me and explained that while I’m only going to be signed up for 6-months I needed to sign two leases. The first lease would bring me in on the existing lease that the current residents had on the property but ended halfway through my stay and the second lease would allow me to complete my 6 months because I would need to be on the renewed lease in order to do so. I questioned her about the process but she assured me that was the case and I would only be committed to 6 months regardless of the two lease signings. I reluctantly agreed to move forward with her logic.

Fast forward two months after multiple attempts to verify my 6-month commitment, multiple broken promises in regards to amenities and no direct line to call management outside of submitting tickets and waiting for someone to call me from a random number literally a week later - I get a final email from an non-empathetic lady named Danielle. She tells me that despite there being recorded notes in their system where I’ve specifically stated I only wanted a 6 month lease that I did in fact sign two 6 months leases and would have to commit to the year or pay 2 months rent in order to break my lease. There was no call, no opportunity to work out a more agreeable solution…nothing. I could’ve garnered more personalized attention from a chat bot. Here’s the kicker. They tell you to call 347-801-8760 if you have any questions or concerns but when you call the number you get a recording stating that it’s only for emergency requests. The only way to reach management is by requesting a call through their ticketing/form system. Let's see how fast they change this after reading my complaint. 

My request is that they void the second lease their employee duped me into signing and I quietly ride out my remaining 4 months. At this point, I’ve engaged my attorney to see what actions I can take to sue.

If you are looking for a falsely advertised place to stay where they lure you in with empty promises and leave you to unanswered tickets, stay at Common. If you want your mail stolen regularly because there’s no proper mail storage situation, or to be without internet for 36 hours when you’re working remotely, stay at Common. If you simply don’t care about good property management and are okay with an organization ignoring your needs but automatically debiting your account monthly, I ABHOR YOU to please stay at Common.

Despite a few hiccups Zack was great. Everything looks great, but that’s Hollywood right.

Moving in was smooth, got the help I wanted. Experience overall was awesome except the parking situation.

Jessil was extremely helpful! I called because I had an issue with my key card not opening doors. Jessil was able to resolve my issue in a timely manner and followed up with me to make sure it was resolved. I really appreciate her help!

Super helpful and efficient! Toilet was unclogged just one day after asking.

Mr. Sultan was very polite and prompt in his responses when I needed help. I would recommend him to anyone looking to move in and needs assistance during the process of moving into any common apartment or area.

They were very supportive and provided important information in a timely manner. I truly appreciate how respectful and sensitive they were.

I had just signed my lease, and had a great experience working with Zack and the rest of the leasing team during this process. I was trying to decide between a few Common properties that were within my desired area, and he was very accommodative, sending me information about the different options and answering my questions. Overall, I had a very good experience throughout the leasing process - from the first virtual tour all the way through signing. I'm really excited about moving into my new home soon. Here's hoping the members support team is as great as the leasing team!

My agent in Zachary was one of if not the single most helpful individual in the entire process: between his in-depth and thorough understanding of the apartment and the process and the actual apartment it-self actually being able to portray the layout of the closet to bathroom in a fluid manner.

Zack Sultan was an amazing guide and very professional. He was very responsive to emails and phone calls and gave an amazing tour. He worked during Easter and really made the tour experience well. He helped me with any questions I had. I wish him luck on this next endeavor.

I went to a showing with Zack Sultan about a month ago to see some of the units. He had been extremely helpful, answering my questions and giving me a really good tour.

He was also very responsive to emails. Overall, it was a very simple process with him helping me.
