Really enjoyed our time in the Dolomites.
The walks were fantastic.
Accommodation was very comfortable and the food delicious.
Transfers were on schedule and comfortable.
Would not hesitate to use Collett’s Mountain Holidays again.

Wonderful walks with breathtaking views, and a good choice of walks each day, of varying difficulty. Paper maps were excellent and the electronic map on the app invaluable so you couldn’t really get lost. Excellent written instructions too.
The first hotel was a nice 4* place, where we spent a few extra nights afterwards. The second was not so good - 3* with no air conditioning which was a serious drawback even in September; and no fridge - one was supplied on request but it didn’t work.
The 3rd accommodation was 2* and more of a guest house - the owner was a bit overwhelmed by so many people in our group but didn’t seem to have any more help. Breakfast had mouldy fruit and the orange juice was so old it was fizzy. A very minimal cooked breakfast and some pasty completed the effect.
On the other hand, the evening meals at the 3rd location were at external restaurants and 2 out of 3 were really excellent meals (Gran Pic and Cambium) and the other was good.
Must be possible to run this holiday with an uptick of the accommodation - we would happily have paid more for a couple of better accommodations.

First class company to deal with, the office has real people that answer the phone and helpful knowledgeable in resort guides.

First time in the Dolomites and used Colletts for their local knowledge, and they exceeded our expectations. The accommodation, Residence Angelika, was great, the welcome pack with details of recommended walks, Tabacco map of the area and the walking app were very helpful and Karo the rep was great, cheerful, available every evening and full of suggestions tailored to our ability as a group. The location in Corvara was ideal, with easy access to beautiful walking for all abilities. We intend to return next year.

Have visited Dolomites many times with Colletts but never done 'hut to hut'.Really well organised self guided walk. Accommodation amazing and felt really safe in Colletts hands.Highly recommend!

Collett's inspired confidence from the start with helpful and knowledgeable answers to my questions on our proposed walking holiday. Our early confidence was borne out by the thorough organisation, attention to detail, wide range of walks and friendly staff that we encountered on our thoroughly enjoyable holiday in the Italian Dolomites.

The communication from Collets was great. The hike guide packets gave us confidence we were on the correct trails. The hotel and food were fantastic. Ayelen and Eve were a great resource they recommended hikes that were perfect for our abilities. We were very pleased with our experience with Collets and will use the company again in the future.

I very much like their centre based holidays model - a fabulous hotel in an area with a wide range of hikes of varying levels of challenge, with expert guides on hand each evening to provide individualised advice on plans for the next day. With superb meals and an excellent wellness facility this was exceptional value.

The trek was just as described on the website. All communication with the Colletts team was fast and efficient. Any queries and alterations were dealt with promptly

The Sonnerspitze Hotel was excellent as was the food. The only down side was the size of the shower room. A person with a larger frame or mobility issues could not have used the shower. The two Colletts advisors were brilliant in advising us of where to hike and their local knowledge was a great help. The hiking app and hiking guides were very useful and we used them every day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Colletts Mountain Holidays to anyone interested in Alpine hiking.

Great accommodation in a superb location. The reps were available every evening and were super helpful in helping to choose suitable walks and activities. The walk packs were very useful, providing clear descriptions about the level of hike and how to get there.

We were very pleased with our Collett’s hiking experience in the Dolomites. The independence of choosing our own activities with the local knowledge provided each evening by the Collett’s advisor allowed us to tailor our hikes to our unique capabilities and interests. Coupled with the ample public bus transport in the Alta Badia area, our trip allowed us a flexibility not afforded on more organized tours.

Booked Dolomites trek, everything went smooth and well arranged.
Only thing is that we originally booked (9-10 months in advance) for 2 on twin sharing basis, wherever private room was available and added a 3rd person a month before the tour to our booking and that 3rd person was adjusted on an extra bed in our rooms and there was no difference or reduction in price for the 3rd booking.
I would've expected a reduction in price as on 6 nights we were 3 in a room or at least a separate room on some nights.
Only when asked for a separate room on last day of the trek, we were given a separate room.

We felt very taken care of by Taea and Autumn. They helped us find the hikes that accommodated our physical restrictions, recent knee surgery and awaiting hip surgery. The hotel and restaurant personnel were also kind and provided excellent service to go with the absolutely delicious food offerings. I can't recommend this center- based offering enough! Perfect for those wanting freedom to do what you want but have expert guidance on hand.

Well organized tour with great accommodation and clear routes which were marked through spectacular scenery.

From start to finish our experience with Collett's was brilliant! They gave us helpful pre-booking advice and information, responding speedily to emails. Transfers to and from the airport to our accommodation meant an almost seamless travel experience. Our self catering accommodation option at the Residence Angelika was perfect and even better than we could have imagined with it's convenient location and mountain views, friendly and helpful hosts, a wellness suite we could use every evening and fresh bread delivered every morning. The walking pack provided by Collett's was an invaluable go to guide for choosing our walks as were the evening meet-ups with our Collett's rep, both of which helped us to make the most of each day regardless of weather, energy levels and mood!
