Coldwater Creek does it again
Coldwater Creek sent me an email that the items I order had shipped with a tracking number. After 3 days, I tried to track the package. The tracking came back saying that no such package existed. I used the online chat to follow up and found out that the shipping company did not have a package in their system shipping to my address. This is the third time I've had a problem with Coldwater Creek and their excuses are not believable. I like the pictures of hte clothing they claim to be selling, and need to finally learn to quit buying the dream!
No refund 5 weeks
I purchased 3 items on coldwatercreek.com on 3/2/26. The jeans were way too big and long, even though they were supposed to be ankle length. Other two items were small for size. I returned all 3 items to UPS (Happy Returns) on 3/13/26. I waited for my refund until I had to call their customer service on 4/8/26, at which time she said their "systems" should have sent me an automatic refund but didn't. She claimed to send me the refund that day. On 4/16/26 I still had no refund, so I called again. This time another person said she would "escalate" my refund, whatever that means, and I should receive it in 3-5 business days. What is going on? Just issue my refund!

Terrible company using the Coldwater Creek brand
I used to shop at Coldwater Creek frequently, then they declared bankruptcy and fell off my radar. Over the past year or so I noticed they were back but prices are substantially higher than they used to be. I finally decided to order something recently and it has been an unpleasant experience. Shirt was too small, though the quality seemed decent, but the rudest shock was the charge to return the item: $10, plus "taxes and fees" of $14 and change! Second item in the order did not ship, says it's back ordered, no option to cancel because it's a final sale item. I think whomever owns CC now is trading on their former good reputation to sucker former customers. Okay, fooled me once. Never, never again. See ya, Coldwater.
Returns are a huge hassle
Returns are a huge hassle. I had to wait FIVE WEEKS for them to process a return on a dress. Today I talked to them about an exchange on an item that was significantly smaller than another of the same size. I mentioned the long wait on the last return, and they told me 3-4 weeks is their normal processing time for returns. And even for an exchange, they are charging me for the replacement, and then refunding me (in four weeks??) for the returned item. Their clothes are beautiful colors, but over priced for the quality, and their shipping fees and return fees are outrageous. I don’t expect them to stay in business much longer.

I still do not have the items I oredered weeks ago. With lots of emails from "customer service" siteing problems with shipping and warehousing. Very dissappointed, Im through with them. I don't know what happened they were great at one time.
Delayed shipment & poor quality
Took nearly two months for my order to start arriving. Two items were immediately available (supposedly) and two were on back order. Still took two months for the first two items to arrive. I bought the Casa Rosa Waffle Henley and there's an unfinished seams running up the front center of the shirt. I'm returning Plus, there's no place to leave a review on the site,
Where is my jacket?
I ordered a jacket the first week in March. After three weeks and no receipt of the jacket, I called customer service they told me it would be mailed that Friday. Two weeks later, no jacket received so I called them again and got the same story. It is now 6 weeks later and I received an email (after filing a formal complaint with their customer service) saying it will be send in August. Wow, August! Of course I complained again and no response.
Avoid
The quality of the clothes is pretty good, but if you get the wrong size and want to exchange it you jump through hoops and are charged a $10 return fee.
The agent I spoke with to exchange an item failed to tell me that they charged a $10 return fee and I discovered it when I look at the refund to my card.
I called again today to ask why the full amount wasn't refunded and the agent I spoke to was very hard to understand and kept repeating the same three things over and over. After 30 mins I gave up.
I won't be ordering from them again with so many other options available.
Will never order again
Will never order again. $10 to return an misrepresented item, only to jump thru hoops to get it back to them.
Not happy
I don't know what is going on with Coldwaters website/customer service, but ever since you "came back" after being gone for awhile, everything sucks. I ordered a pair of shoes back in October of 2025-just got them in March, 2026. Just tried to order a pr of jeans-no response on the website. Ordered a pr of jeans in the early part of Spring 2025, never got them-asked about them, asked about them, sometime in September/Oct was finally told no longer available. Oh, and on the shoes, 4 months in, finally asked for a refund-"Oh we can't do that. We're too far into it and we can't cancel the order", WHAT????? Yeah, I'm very disappointed with my experiences lately. I'm thinking a lower-level company bought you guys out when you were facing bankruptcy, and now its completely ran outta someones apt thats not even in the states, and what inventory they do have is a crap shoot at best! So mad...

Good quality terrible delivery.
I ordered the all-weather coat in Dec 2025. It came in a timely manner and I am absolutely thrilled with the fabric, style, and workmanship. My daughters told me it was “classy”. So I thought ‘success’ and decided to order 8 more items in early March 2026. It has been over a month now and I have received 4 of the mostly winter items. I have called and discovered that my winter items will not be sent until late May and 2 will not come until late June. Why were these offered as “in stock” items? I am glad I have the coat and the 4 items I received are good quality and well made. However I will never order from them again. I can get good quality well made items from another company that is better organized and more timely with the delivery.
I used to love this company
I used to love this company. I have bought some things I still really enjoy. However, recently they sent me the wrong item. They said they would send me the correct item. It took several weeks. Thank goodness it was just for me and not for an occasion or a gift... they sent the same wrong item again and had the nerve to tell me that they sent the correct one. I looked up the item number before I contacted them and verified the item number matches the product but unfortunately does not match the product they sent. I even called them the first time and described the color the pattern.. i'm very disappointed and obviously frustrated enough to write a review. Hopefully this will help someone. Think twice and don't expect anything to happen quickly.
$9.95 Processing Fee to Return!
I will agree with all the other negative reviews here when I say...a $9.95 processing fee to return and refund merchandise? Who does that????? I wish I had read the reviews before ordering.
Takes Orders, Never Ships
After waiting exactly one month for 2/3 of my order to be shipped, I finally cancelled. The company kept moving the goalposts--what was supposed to ship immediately was delayed week after week after week. Two calls to the company on the same day at the one-month mark gave me two different ship dates--and a backorder--and that's when I cancelled. Fortunately, I was able to do that. I should add that my credit card had been charged for the unshipped items but luckily that was resolved. I would not shop there again.
Can it get any worse
Can it get any worse? Years ago this company had decent interesting clothes with petite sizing. About three years ago, after moving to a rural area and not finding anything in person, I decided to give them a try. Yikes! Plastic is their middle name! Lots of poly and no pants without poly. Styles are grandma on a bad day.
I've unsubscribed from their catalog a total of four times! - catalogs just keep coming. If you dig around, you'll see that they have a reputation for not honoring unsubscribe requests. You'll be hounded until you move.

I dint know there is a restocking fee if you return something. My order took forever to get and I tried tracking it but their tracking system is the worst. clothing not like it used to be. Very cheap and high prices. Don’t buy from this company. Not the same as cold water creek of the past, beware of fees for returning items
Terrible customer service
After waiting for about a week to hear from customer service, they could give me no description of the back view of an item. Also stating no pictures are available for this, at this time. How can one buy a piece of clothing without looking at the back ?
I'm glad this happened; it's a sign to not shop there.
Return Policy is Outrageously Expensive
Coldwater Creek has changed its return policy, and is now charging a $10 processing fee along with a fee for taxes!
The result --- I received a $19 credit on my $37 top.
I will not be ordering from Coldwater again. Go to Macy's online, they offer free returns.
