This company has gone downhill since the original owners sold the company last year. In that time, there have been two different owners. Most recently, the company has been failing to ship out orders in a reasonable amount of time. When you try to contact them, your emails go on deaf ears. Some orders have even been cancelled, without the customer being refunded. And if you do get your order, the clothing as of late is that similar to Shein...poor quality but at boutique prices. Even the packaging that they ship in is dingy and dirty. Save your money and shop at a reputable business.

I used to love this boutique, especially for their super fast and free shipping. Now you pay for shipping but worst of all they are one of the slowest boutiques I shop from with shipping. I can order the same quality from a boutique across the country and get it faster.

Steals money from customers. They will issue credit for returns in the form of a gift card (which states on their site is good for five years) then expire the gift card after 12 months. When I contacted the company they pretty much replied that it wasn’t their problem. They are always out of stock making it hard to spend the gift card because you have to wait for them to have your size available. The only item I actually still have from them is defective as well. It is a body suit with two snaps and only one snaps properly. Terrible company that doesn’t care about its clients and sells low quality items.

Use their affiliates like a cult and don't always pay commissions. Shut their program down on them without paying out the remainder of commissions and stole all of their customers these women built up for years. Owner and family try to control their affiliates by not allowing the market for anyone else. Only sell so many of 1 thing to keep up the demand and curiosity. Owners try to use their platform for political stances. No returns just exchanges and you're SOL if they are out of your size.

Run away from this company. The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I never write bad reviews. In fact this is my first one. Give your money to companies that care about the consumer and this is NOT it. They legit stole money from me. It’s actually shocking that they treat customers like they do and honestly I had heard this about them, so my mistake. I plan to report to Better business with my email chain.

Cute stuff, but I’m begging you, before you buy put the pic into Shein and you’ll find the exact same item for a fraction of the cost! I was so p.o.ed when I found the exact same ombré sweatpants I spent around $30 on on Shein for $12

I’ve been a Closet Candy stylist/affiliate for the past three years. I love our clothing. The shipping is always super fast! The owners of the company do so much for the community. They are good people. Just a great company all around. I love being a part of this company and helping women fill beautiful.

I was sent pants that had clumps of hair all over it, like huge clumps all over. I have been ordering from CC for a few years and have been a loyal customer. When emailing theor customer service dept, I expressed dissatisfaction with the product and asked for a refund for this item only and I have now been told I would be blocked from any future orders and they won't give me a refund, so essentially I won't get my money back, I won't get a CC credit for future orders since I'm blocked and then they also started emailing me about a resolved refund from 2020, instead of the current order I emailed about. I wish their customer service actually cared about the people that have been loyal and that I don't have to spend money there but chose too. I also would love to get refunded. Too bad they didn't reach out on the phone when they read about my experience to try to resolve things. Instead got blocked

Worst company ever! They rope you in and then charge you $99 a year and put it on auto, you cancel and they still charge you. Then refuse to reimburse you when you complain.

The worst policies I have ever seen in my life. They are the reason MLM companies get a bad name. And I own and MLM business and wow am I proud of my business. Closet Candy's treatment of customers is unethical and flat out robbery. Not only do they never refund, they give only store credit if returned in 30 days...okay fine I can accept that...(oh and you also have to pay for your return label too if you need to return so already you lose $8 in store credit, again I accepted that)....but hold on cause even if you pay good $, if you were buying during their daily so called "sales" that are very confusing, they have the nerve to not only say sorry we can't give you any money back for your return received, and we will only give you back your clothes that don't fit, if you pay the company ANOTHER $20!!! They literally are holding my $200 purchase hostage!!! They didn't fit...I just want to exchange...nope they won't budge and give me the altimatum that I send them MORE money to get my sent back to me or they will give them to charity!!! I worked in retail for decades and like I said I am an MLM business owner and I have never seen anything so horrific. I feel like someone just stole my $$. I gave them a couple hundred dollars and have nothing to show for it. So spare me they give back nonsense...they give back after they wrongfully take from hardworking people. I will be calling them this week hoping to get someone who is compassionate but it's not likely from other reviews I've seen...even saw these same reviews reported to the BBB. Sadly I love the woman who has this small business with them and I was happy to support her. I tried and they scammed me in my opinion. I would never ever stand by a company who thinks it's okay to conduct business putting profit over their customer service. It's a shame...beautiful clothes.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Make sure you read the fine print. They do not allow you to ever get your money back for returns. You have to pay for their junk to be sent back. Only store credit which is awful and I had no idea that this was the case. Honestly the three items I bought were the worst quality. I think I’ve had better quality at Walmart. Now I’m stuck 3 items I will never wear. $150 down the toilet!!! They couldn’t care less if their clients are happy!

I order a bathing suit bottoms and said was deliverd but never recived i have emailed them over and over again ! The only respond i gotten from them is i should of took out the insurance on my item.My item was only $15 dollars the insurance would of been 8 ,so im suppised to soend 25 dollars in an item from a new shop i never bought from.I have asked them over and over again to just refund my money no luck there. The post office did a trace and no luck can't find it.So im giving this review to say that if you item is lost in the mail or stolen you will not get any help from this company! As a first time buyer i will not recommend this company. HOPE THEY GET BETTER WITH HELPING THIER CUSTOMERS ☹☹

I work with closet candy so I believe I have a closer look at the company. They provide quality clothes with free shipping and quality assurance. They are huge philanthropists and do so much to give back. They are building a community of women who support, build up and encourage others. The clothes are fabulous quality and I love my new wardrobe!
