We had never used movers before and we will never move without them now. Clockwork Perth are absolutely amazing. We couldn’t fault the whole experience and even when plans changed ect they worked with us to find solutions and change dates to meet our needs despite it meaning less work for them- they were the definition of customer first.
On the day itself the guys who came were so friendly and kind- they had our whole house packed up in 3 hours and helped us get everything in place at the other end with not a grumble and a few laughs along the way. I will be recommending them to everyone I know who is looking for movers.

From initial contact everyone was helpful and friendly. They kept me well informed and were always pleasant when dealing with any queries or requests. On moving day the guys went out of their way to make the move less stressful by remaining upbeat and super efficient. All my furniture and belongings were handled with care and everything was delivered safely.

We chose Clockwork Removals to assist with our house move in September this year and are delighted with our choice. From initial quote through to their support on the actual day of the move, the service was fantastic, any queries in the lead up to the move were answered quickly and to the delivery of service on the day, we cannot fault a thing. The crew who moved us were personable and friendly, constantly checked in to make sure what they loaded, moved and unloaded were placed exactly where we needed. They took apart and rebuilt our larger furniture which was a huge help and meant we could enjoy our very first evening in the new house. Fantastic service and would highly recommend.

It started with me requesting an afternoon move. I asked for the move to start at 1pm, but the branch manager absolutely insisted that this could not be accommodated, and the very latest his team could do was 12pm. This was inconvenient to me but I changed my arrangements to fit in with a 12pm move.

However 12pm arrived, and no one appeared. By 12:10 still no one had arrived - and I received no courtesy phone call from the Perth branch to inform me that the team were going to be late. That is just basic unprofessionalism. I phoned the branch at that point, and was told the team were on their way. They didn't appear at my door until 12:30pm, which is completely ridiculous, and beyond unprofessional - especially (a) with no phone call informing me that they were going to be late, and (b) after all the fuss the branch manager had made the previous day about how it was essential for the team to start no later than 12pm so that they could fit the move in.

At the end of the move, I discovered an item of my packaging had been damaged during the move. I informed the removal man of this - and he didn't even respond to me. He just walked away. Very unprofessional. So I said to him, "Presumably this is something I inform the office about." And he then said "Yes."

So I phoned the branch and informed them, and they asked me to send them photos which I did. Then the branch manager phoned me, and told me that the packaging was fragile, and "these things happen". He accepted no responsibility for the damaged box, and told me he was not prepared to compensate me for my box that his team broke. 

This is obviously completely ridiculous. The boxes were damaged while being handled by Clockwork Removals - therefore Clockwork Removals is responsible for that damage - it's as simple as that.

If the boxes were fragile, then it was Clockwork Removals' responsibility to protect them properly while they were in the back of the van. They also moved a glass table for me, which is obviously more fragile than a plastic storage box, and it wasn't damaged during the move - therefore it was obviously protected properly while in the removal van in a way that the plastic box wasn't - and therefore the Perth branch manager's argument that "the boxes were too fragile" is completely invalid. If that was an argument, then "a glass table is too fragile to be moved by us" would also be a valid argument - and that would be patently ridiculous for a removal firm (or one of its branch managers) to say to a customer.

Two of my items went missing during the move, including a very expensive chef's knife. I suspect it was stolen out of back of the van when it was left unattended and open in the street.

I emailed the company via their website to report this whole debacle, and needless to say my email went unanswered.

So in short: if you want to have a good removal experience in the Perth area, or if you're someone who expects to receive a reply when you email a company, then don't go anywhere near these clowns.

My response to their reply:

How are you "committed to putting our customers first"? You didn't even reply to my email to you. That's the most basic form of customer service that there is, and you didn't even do that.

The booking time I was given was 12pm. The branch manager was absolutely insistent that they must start at 12 in order to get the move finished in time for them to finish on time on Friday afternoon. I asked for 1pm, and he said if they started at 1pm then there wouldn't have been enough time for the move to take place. Also, if it had been 12-1, then I wouldn't have phoned your office at 12:10 to ask where they were, would I? This proves that you're liars as well as spectacularly incompetent. And they arrived at 12:30 - check the job sheet that I signed at the end of the removal, which has the start and end times of the move on it. So more lies.

What does "some bags were not packed robustly" mean? What "bags" are you talking about? I told you in the review - and in the email that I sent you - that it was ONE BOX that was damaged. And if you mean that box, then what do you mean "it was not packed robustly, leading to damage?" It was a box - it had stuff inside it, and the lid on that box was securely fastened. How is that "not packed robustly"? What planet are you, the author of this reply, on?

Every single person I've told about my experience of dealing with your company has responded in exactly the same way - they've literally burst out laughing. And this absolutely absurd reply is completely consistent with every other interaction that I had with every other person in your organisation.

Cannot recommend Roy and his team in Perth, absolutely brillant from start to finish.

Great service from start to finish

We picked Clockwork quite at random after having looked on the website and seeing the reviews. The lady who booked our removals was very pleasant and went through the whole process with us. The two movers were polite, courteous and so helpful. They packed up everything for us including great wardrobe contents carriers so that clothes just had to be removed still on their hangers and put into the new wardrobes - great idea. When we got to our new house, they were very methodical and very professional. They placed all our furniture exactly where we wanted them which left us very little to do.

Although booked at short notice my experience was stress free
The office side of the booking was very clear and excellent
The actual removal was totally stress free with the removal crew doing everything and declining any help

Genuinely fantastic company to deal with - professional, understanding, flexible, engaging, communicative and made the whole process far less stressful than it could have been.
