Worst app ever to edit something. It moves half of your clips randomly and you have to put it back together yourself, already happened to me twice with a big projekt. It lags horribly, and the overall setting is terrible. Please avoid this app.

I'm not sure if it's just me experiencing this. Sometimes, hovering over a text doesn't make the outline that indicates you can edit it. Sometimes, I can't even stretch my text. Sometimes, I can't even move the text around as if it's locked in place. I've been reloading the site every damn time this bug happened just to edit a textbox (most of the time, you can't even do anything), and I remember it wasn't THIS difficult to edit with Clipchamp. I don't recommend this app, ever.

actually horrid, a messy piece of garbage that has to "buffer" a 2 second clip for 12 hours straight, worst app OAT, Microsoft Clipchamp is the WORST program to ever grace this dying planet.

Failed to create a video I made as a slideshow. It jammed after 3 minutes on the photos but the sound describing the photo continued. The help I got was no good at all blaming it on my PC then they know about this etc etc. In summary they are useless and not worth using

Why there is tab "Pricing" when they claim it free?

Gave me an option to signup using my google account, took my info and then said that i have to create a microsoft account. this is crap and just misdirected marketing

Nicht zu fassen. Es ist halt aber wie bei fast allem von Microsoft. Teures Spielzeug, wenn nicht gar teurer Müll. Unglaublich, dass diese Firma mit solchem Zeug so reich geworden ist. Weit entfernt von Professionalität. Wenn man es startet, muss man erst einmal eine große Menge persönlicher Daten abgeben,. Dann geht alles über die Microsoft Cloud. Wenn man die Dateien auf den eigenen Rechner speichern will, geht es nur über diesen Umweg. Und das Beste: Bei geschnittenen Videos ist das geschnittene nicht weg, sondern es läuft schwarz. Kann man diesen Schrott nicht einfach verbieten?

Clipchamp has been updated and now is utter garbage. It is slow, useless, and wants to force you into the worst cloud service, Onedrive. That is unless you want to store locally, but when you do it wants to access all your files in your local folder. Leave it to Microsoft to ruin a great product. Stop trying to force onedrive on us, it is garbage and so is clipchamp.

IM A STUDENT OF WHOM NEEDED TO SUBMIT A VIDEO EDITING SOURCE AND NOW MY PROGRESS IS FRIGGING GONE!

NOW CLIPCHAMP COSTING ME MY SCORES AND OUTPUT THAT I WORKED HARD AND SIMPLY LOST!

Clipchamp was never great to begin with but it got the job done if you needed basic video editing and could tolerate the glitchiness and lack of features. I used it to make training videos for clients across the US as well as my own courses that now live on line. I still regularly need to go back in and edit old clips to make them more suitable for apps like TikTok and Instagram. But with the most recent update, Microsoft made Clipchamp utterly unusable. Their insistence on One Drive integration is infantilizing and inconvenient. I like having the option to back up my projects to the cloud but now it is required- not just to save new projects but to be able to even edit old projects. And because I already have so many projects in Clipchamp I am being forced to upgrade to One Drive's monthly subscription plan. I cannot access any files that I hadn't already backed up elsewhere.

Microsoft has destroyed years worth of work. Ready to switch to Mac or at the very least get rid of as many Microsoft products as possible.

Con il nuovo aggiornamento del l'interfaccia, clipchamp fa due caricamenti del video e ci mette un sacco di tempo anche se è uno short da pochi secondi. È peggiorato e purtroppo dovrò cercare un altro editor. Peccato. Non era malvagio.

This program is unbelievably inept to the point that I am constantly checking my room for hidden cameras to see if it's all some elaborate joke or prank. The very fact that it requires an internet connection in order to edit files that are already saved locally on your computer is laughable and constantly causes issues. The program is unresponsive at worst and imprecise and buggy at best. Do not use this product. I sincerely hope that whoever developed this program has been fired and banned from the industry.

After they forced the cloud sychronize, the app and the web page app keep crushing.....

I CAN'T DO ANYTHING

clipchamp used to be great, but now it is unusable. I have 10 second clips that I like to string together from my trail cam. I want to save them on my computer. I cant find the option to do that without losing all my work. you took an awesome program and broke it. . It's for free so that is why you get two and not one star. After this new experience, I would never pay for it.

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks ClipChamp is a failure. This app is an abomination and should be deleted from existence. It is unwieldly, unusable, not all all intuitive, and far far from user-friendly. It led to nothing but stress - and all I wanted to do was crop and trim!
