No sense of urgency to complete claim
I regret switching to Clement’s Worldwide for my car insurance. The lack of basic infrastructure should have been a red flag from the start—there is no online portal to upload documents, track claims, or even make payments. Everything is handled through long, disorganized email threads.
I was recently involved in an accident in Italy, and the claims process has been extremely frustrating. Communication is slow and inconsistent, often taking several days just to receive a response. I even requested a phone call to discuss my claim and never received one.
Meanwhile, my car is sitting in a tow yard accumulating daily storage fees, and I’ve been told the claim could take 30–40 days to process. That’s a long time to wait with zero support or urgency from the insurance company.
For comparison, my previous provider handled a similar situation quickly and professionally—my claim was resolved within a week, and I was provided with a rental car during that time.
I switched to save money, but this experience has made it clear: you get what you pay for. I would not recommend Clement’s Worldwide based on the lack of responsiveness, poor communication, and inefficient claims process.

We’re very sorry for the frustration this situation has caused and understand how difficult it is to wait while your vehicle remains in storage.
Auto claims in Italy can unfortunately take longer than many clients expect, particularly when liability is disputed. In this case, the insurer handling the motor policy must first receive and review the official police report before responsibility can be determined. That report is a required step for the involved insurers to exchange documentation and move the claim forward, which is what drives the 30–40 day timeframe you were advised of.
Our role is to support and guide clients through this process and step in where possible once the primary insurer’s position is clear.
We appreciate you sharing this feedback, and it has been passed on internally to help improve communication and clarity moving forward.

Unfair treatment to a loyal customer. 0 claims since 2021 but huge increased policy price
My repeated requests to the company to maintain -or lower- the price for my insurance policy, since I accumulated a '0' record of claims for two high value 4x4 SUVs since 2021 were not considered. My renewal of policy for 2026 came with a unilateral and unexpected raise of the deductible, from $500 to $2500. After my protest, the deductible came back to $500 but Clements added an additional $514 payment. That by the way was not approved by me. So at the end I remain with the same deductible but with a substantial increase in the price of my policy.
