I shouldv'e read the reviews before spending $1200 on an electric recliner - within 5 months the armrest was indented. A technician came out and said it was how we "sat" in the chair! There is no "sit here" sign and I thought chairs were supposed to be sat in! The "repair" on the cardboard lasted 2 weeks and again the technician replied that it was the way we were sitting in the chair. Numerous phone calls and a visit to the store in Plant City was useless! We were offered a 30% discount on a "New" purchase - like I would purchase anything from them after this! Obviously they do NOT stand by their warranty or believe in providing even barely adequate customer service! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase from City Furniture!

I entered the Stuart, Florida store and was pleasantly welcomed by Julian. He was extremely professional and offered his assistance when I was ready. I was free to walk around the store, uninterrupted.
I purchased two large items and he completed the process in minutes, and set up delivery.
It was an absolute pleasure entering that store. Julian was very knowledgeable about each piece I asked about until I made my final decision.
If I need to purchase additional furniture, I will most definitely visit that location and work with Julian again.

Great experience with salesperson, Martin, at the Tampa location. However, the delivery showed up with damaged and missing items. We were refunded, but store manager, Gibson Audalus, models POOR customer service. He couldn't be bothered to even walk over to talk to customers who had just spent several thousands on home furnishings that we did not receive. Shop here if you want a pleasant shopping experience with Martin. But...buying anything is a huge risk with the way this store is mismanaged. Signed, Very Disappointed.

I wish can give them zero stars worst furniture company they lie so much they're so unprofessional. DO NOT purchase from them. Their furnitures are TRASH. I got a reselect on my furniture and I had the previous box for the first bed and since I selected something different because the one I got was TRASH now the box that I have is too big and they refuse to exchange it to something that will fit the new bed I HATE their business I praying one day they will loose all their customers. CITY FURNITURE IS TRASH....❌❌‼️‼️

I don’t recommend buying from this place. After purchasing the warranty that supposedly covers the entire Dining set, they are telling that they are sorry but nothing can be done. Why they ask you to get it!! I had purchase a dining set 3 months ago and the paint is coming off, I called for service and they are saying that it is because of the usage. The company that they use for repairs didn't do a good, the technician was very rude! I told them about the situation and I still have the issue. City Furniture didn’t fixed the problem.

Worst experience I have ever had with a purchase and customer service and the local customer service. (They have you call both places and have no resolve. We purchased a living room, set, two bedrooms, dining and misc items.
Salesman ordered wrong size living room set and they refused to take it back because it was delivered. (We called within an hour of receiving it to let them know THEY ordered the wrong size - we did not)
We have been trying since December. We Had to get our credit card company involved who immediately credited our account until they could speak to City furniture. City furniture then told credit card company they returned our money. They did not return all of it. We had canceled part of the order before delivery and that they credited - which was normal but they used that amount to tell credit card company that they paid us for the incorrect item finally returned. It took over a month to have them pick it up. They have yet to pay us for it. The credit card company thought it was resolved because they believed city furniture. Our credit card company now has to open the case again with them as I told them what they did.
City furniture will not take our calls, the manager won’t take any calls and the customer service department, says that’s the policy .
They still have not paid us the amount they us. The store seldom takes phone calls. When you finally can speak to someone, they are nice but they can not help- they say they will have manager call back. Manager has not called me back (now three months). I called all the time but always with no return call from manager.
Terrible terrible place. Spent thousands of dollars to a company that should be shut down.

I ordered almost $6000 worth of furniture, 3 piece sofa & love seat and chair along with a dining set and end tables and lamps. My furniture is not even 3 years old and already it's falling apart. I called and a lady tried to refer me to someone who fixes their items, and I stated that my furniture should not be falling apart, it's only me here sitting on it and I had several living room sets that were lasted way longer than this company's furniture. I don't care if the warranty ran out. The furniture should not be tearing this soon from little old me just sitting down, The furniture looks nice, but the quality is horrible. I'm stuck with duck taping the part that is ripped open following a long wire that almost puncture my buttocks btw, that is what made me reach out to the company initially. Not very happy about it, at all.

I bought a recliner sofa in 2022, and it came out a piece of garbage. First it was in back order and we did not get it until a month after. The screws from the recliners comes out and you cannot even put the foot part down. I called Customer service for repair on the furniture and they told me they could not help me. It sad to say that I have 1 payment left, and after that I would not waste spending my money there no more. People the best advise is to never buy in City Furniture and do not waste your money there. They are a rip off

The worst decision I made was to buy my bed from them. They installed my adjustable bed wrong. I had to wait 2 weeks for them to be available to come fix the problem. When I spoke to 2 supervisors they was more agitated that I asked to speak with a supervisor . Clearly speaking with me was a major inconvenience I will never buy anything from this company EVER AGAIN.

My order was 1 year ago (2/13/23) It has been a nightmare since. For an entire year I was promised the bed that goes with my set.They left a huge box in my bedroom which contains half a bed! Finally after back ordered promises for 10 months they now said the rest of bed was discontinued… I can’t even tell you the hours ,days ,weeks , and months I have spoken to their customer service , their managers, their supervisor's… and I sit here now at the final straw! Lots of promises but NO ACTUAL HELP. This box is suppose to be picked up today ( just to give you an idea…. It is 8 feet long and weighs about 100 lbs) Unmovable!!! As I explained to city furniture my 90 year old mom recovering from back surgery and leg surgery is coming home this week with a walker and this box is a hazard for her! God forbid she trips over this half of bed box !!! So I was promised it would be picked up today !! I just got off the phone with a supervisor and was told that this box will not be picked up today! I really do not understand how this company is still in business! Please do yourself a favor go elsewhere for your furniture needs. To give you an idea …. One full year I’ve gotten apologies ….broken Promises …. And terrible service and here I am one year almost to the day sitting with an incomplete set and a half of bed which I am so worried about my mom falling over with the same non customer service as the day they delivered it!

I will go to the dentist and have all my teeth removed before I buy one single piece of furniture from City Furniture again. This company is awful. I bought a simple square dining room table with four chairs. Of course, it arrives in one big box. The table was damaged as were 2 of the chairs. I put a claim in and since then they have cancelled delivery of the replacement 3 times. I have even told them to just come pick up the table and all 4 chairs and credit my account. Nope can't do that. They continue to jerk me around. NEVER again!

I give them 0 stars I spent over $20,000 in furniture, and it all started falling apart after three months the furniture is below standards it is the cheapest made furniture u can possibly buy

Terrible customer service!! They really dont care about customer satisfaction. Everything is always on back order and you can wait months for delivery. Then we got a partial sectional and now have to wait indefinitely for the final section with no apology, no credit for the delivery no nothing. We waited a whole day for planned delivery before we were called and told that it was on back order. We will never shop here agsin!!

My order #54658 was placed 15 months ago, supposed to be delivered over a year ago and never was!! Till today it is backordered!! Every time I look it up, the status changes for a further date. Nobody ever called me or followed up, I have to do it by myself and no actual help I have ever received...
It is very unclear will you ever get that painting back in stock?! Or the delivery date will be getting postponed for another 1,5 years?
Customer Service is horrible. Company does not keep their delivery promises. Nobody does anything to make it right or better.
I do not recommend to shop with them at all

Customers services is ZERO they don’t care about you, they just want to sell the products ! One sales rep treated me like I am an involuted idiot. So i thought they were being so helpful with an purchase that I wasn’t happy with, her and the manager did a false transaction and stated this is same price, so you don’t have a balance due. I keep buying from her. The seller name is Arline, don’t believe her, She trapped me into buying more products thinking that her and the manager agreed to credit me on a purchase, so stupid of me believe them on their trap and said the products was on back orders until December 27, 2023. They will lie to your face and take you for granted and you are thinking that they care. DO NOT BUY FROM CITY FURNITURE if they 2nd they lie to your face and think you’re stupid.
I spend $40,000 in the company, and I was treated like nobody all they want from you is to take your money, and they have one of the WORST POLICY EVER that I encounter.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I ordered a dining table Nov 2023 which had a delivery date of Dec 2023. I called in to confirm the delivery was still good for Dec and was assured. The current dining table I got rid of to only find out the day before delivery it was on back order until Feb. They did however deliver the end chairs. Now I find out the table is still in backorder to Mid March (not guaranteed). Called in for a refund and they won't let me return the end chairs because it's a different model.... Now either I wait to get the table some day or return and get stuck with end chairs that I need to match with another table. They are not willing to work with customers even though they're at fault. Done with this company and will not recommend to anyone.

I am sitting in the parking lot of City Furniture and leaving very unhappy. I am closing in a new home in two weeks and I came out to buy furniture today, kitchen table, sofa, and master bedroom suite. Prepared to pay cash and I was greeted by one male employee at the door, he told me to walk around and someone would be with me shortly. I bumped into him again about an hour later and he pointed at a female employee and told me to go upstairs she will be with you shortly. I had taken pictures of all the furniture I planned to buy and even sat down on one of the couches for about 20 minutes. I must have passed at least 10 if not more employees and no one spoke, no one asked if I needed help. I literally just walked out after walking around for 2 hours passed the gentleman again and he was talking with a family. I came in dressed down because it’s a Sunday but I was judged by my appearance as if I couldn’t afford to buy anything. I drove an hour from Pinellas Park Florida to this store to buy furniture and will never come here again. They just lost a great customer that they made feel awful.

DO NOT buy anything from City furniture they will not return or refund if you get the wrong product
They will not make good on your product
We contacted them 12 hours after we received the product and they come and pick up the wrong item and will not deliver the right product or refund my money

Recently I purchased a sectional at this store - Tamarac, FL. Was told I would get free-white-glove delivery and installation. Well be careful, according to City Furniture, the white glove delivery service, is receiving your supposedly brand new furniture without any boxes, or plastic for wrapped protection on your furniture inside of their delivery truck. Furthermore, the delivery men walked into dirt/mud with their shoes into my house. I had to question them about this after several trips, then the finally put something at my door entrance to walk on before entering my house. I made a complaint to City Furniture, but I am not sure that they were as concerned about my furniture the I was. The only thing they kept asking was whether the furniture ok and there was nothing I could do once I accepted the delivery. Be aware of what you are told and what was done!!

La empresa es la mas desatenta que he conocido con los clientes. Estuve esperando cerca de 6 meses para recibir el producto y cuando llego no era lo que me vendieron. El vendedor nunca me atendio la llamada, solo msj de texto. El vendedor FRANKIE, es lo peor en ventas y no tiene seriedad ni respeto por sus clientes.la empresa City Furniture es una empresa de poca seriedad y atencion a sus clientes . No recomiendo comprar en esta empresa ni asercarse a ella . Solo se preocupan por vender un producto que ni ellos saben cuando van a despachar. The company is the most inattentive I have ever met with customers. I was waiting about 6 months to receive the product and when it arrived it was not what they sold me. The seller never answered my call, only a text message. The salesman FRANKIE is the worst in sales and has no seriousness or respect for his customers. The City Furniture company is a company with little seriousness and attention to its customers. I do not recommend buying from this company or approaching it. They only worry about selling a product that not even they know when they are going to ship.
