Chancellors - Wokingham Omdömen 

I have viewed and subsequently rented a property through Chancellors. Throughout the process the team were responsive and helpful in providing information and assisting through the process. Thank you to Mary, too. Who primarily helped me and made the process much easier.

Mary was really friendly and informative, she was able to answer all our questions and ensured we were made aware of all our options.

With Chancellors for some years now, generally, they are good, but one of the tenants hasn't paid rent and walked out, Chancellors have chased him but nothing as it's more than 2 years now, I think this will be the case with any estate agent. Still, I give 4 stars as they are good on other services.

We bought our house through Chancellors so didn't instruct them or pay them thankfully.

Their communication was appalling.
They were lazy in terms of assisting the chain, and left it to the other 2 agents in the chain to do all the work.
I was told one day after, that we had exchanged!! I had already been told by my solicitor and both the other agents.
The main problem was that their relationship management was non existent, upsetting both the vendor and myself (the buyer).
The sale succeeded purely because it had to and we really liked the property enough to wait and contain ourselves throughout the stressful experience.

Upon deciding to sell my house, I selected three estate agents to choose to value my house. Chancellors was the last of the three I visited in my local town of Wokingham. Whereas the first two agents had been very professional and asked a lot of questions and booked valuation appointments there and then, the gentleman in Chancellors seemed rather uninterested and took my basic contact details. When I explained that would be looking to list in January (as I would be relocating and was still narrowing down where exactly I wanted to move to), he told me that someone would call to go through the general market situation but that I should get back in touch when I was actually ready to sell! I was extremely unimpressed (and a week later no-one has even called me). Both of the other two agents have since been out and valued my house between £500/520k and are very keen to list it. I definitely won’t be using Chancellors, nor recommending them to friends or family.

Although she does not work at the branch in person, Dana was responsive, attentive and did exactly what we wanted her to do.

The worst communication taking days to weeks for responses, you get passed around. They don’t take responsibility for their lack of care and actually their role when they are the renting your home. DO NOT USE!! We regret using them as they didn’t assist or guide us what so ever. Pure negligence as a provider but very quick to take your money.

Frustrated is an underestimation. After speaking to 4 people at the Wokingham Branch, sending in emails as well as being assured a manager would contact me, nothing.......Will definitely not get any of our business whether buying or selling. No customer service! I even put in an offer by email, and no response. I would never use them to sell my property!
