The air cylinder for the lowering/lifting was broken, was not mentioned in listing. For the price they should have been clear on the condition. Otherwise chair was in good shape

The initial description on Chairish was inconsistent and in error. The shipping was two weeks or so behind what Chairish had initially stated, and the table and chairs were much more damaged than was indicated in the write up.

The table was in great condition! It did take a little while for delivery, but all things considered, it was an excellent service and product. I'd highly recommended, and would shop them again with confidence!

I could buy antiques anywhere, but I chose chairsh.com for their reliability and honesty with their products that they represent.

I am purchasing many pieces for a new home. The communication with sellers is comfortable and the shipping process is excellent.

Communication was very good relating to the item I purchased. Apparently there was some error and I saw the item I purchased resisted on Liveauctioneers. Chairish gave me a tracking number which certainly relieved me. The item came wonderfully packaged.

Seller very responsive, item exceeded my expectations and came earlier than expected.

The quality of the product was just as descriptive. The sellers were very kind to work with and accomplished our pick up schedule.

While scheduling shipping was delayed, customer service was great, and so was the shipper (once booked)

Delivery service was excellent and the finials were just as they were described.

Item was just as presented- arrived in good time in excellent condition. Terrific communication.

This particular transaction has 2 parts to review: one excellent and one disappointing. The article purchased arrived exactly as represented but not in the time range expected.

The vendor accepted my offer while away at a convention so this large piece of furniture was not transferred to the shipper until the day when I expected out-of-state delivery. I think, in this situation, the vendor should have been in better communication with Chairish to update expectations. One of Chairish's employees provided excellent help via email in figuring out the situation more than once. The shipper did an excellent job of protecting and delivering the fragile item. However, as usual with freight, I was given his office phone #, not the mobile he used to update me while he was in transit when the actual delivery time kept changing, mostly due to traffic conditions,... so I nearly didn't answer his first call because it cae from an unknown number.

By the end, it arrived about a month later that I expected, setting me behind ordering other items to finish the project. Since this is not my first purchase through Chairish, I am not discouraged from making a future purchase from them. I appreciate the information provided online before making a decision, the ability to negotiate and sometimes to make a local pickup myself, and especially that my payment is held in escrow until I can inspect the item and confirm the sale before my money is released to the seller (and I'm sure the seller is happy to know my payment is secure with Chairish before shipping their item to a stranger).

Received damaged piece but only noticed a few days outside their 48 hour policy. Wouldn’t help me. Terribly disappointed

Auction service is fine, items delivered as promised. But on low ticket items, it’s hard to see the value. By the time you add in the buyer’s premium and the exorbitantly high shipping charges, you have nearly doubled your bid. Of course, this math changes on higher ticket items - but the kinds of items I have interest in (art, art glass, watches) that I sometimes monitor (and for which I have market value knowledge) rarely go for “deal” prices. When you add up the extra hassle of time spent monitoring an auction, paying the buyer’s premium and paying the shipping, I find it easier to shop through normal channels where I have control over price and shipping costs. Your mileage may vary.

I have been purchasing from Chairish.com for years. When the mainstream manufacturers stopped producing my “look” I turned to Chairish. We have never had a product arrive that was anything except what was pictured and described. Also, the guys who deliver have brought joy to our home everytime they walked through the door. I have recommended Chairish over and over!

The fragile glass item arrived soon after the sale. It was extremely well packaged and was in perfect condition. I would buy feom this seller again!
