I recently bought a used vehicle from here and my experiance from start to finish was brilliant!. Such a smooth process. very profesional indeed.
The vehicle was cleaned/ valeted to perfection. The sales staff were very profesional very welcoming.
Will certainly buy from here again in the future.

This company is very affectionate and the gentleman in the office are very helpful and the guys that collected my vehicle was polite and kind, would recommend them anyone.

Sold my van through Carwow and Vanstar/Carstar was the highest bidder. When the company came to appraise the van he said the passenger side wing and back door had been re-sprayed badly, which was total rubbish. That was the only issue he could find and he went on to offer £650 less than the agreed price, when i stood my ground and told him I had changed the wetbelt (which I had already stated in the advert) he dropped it to just £200 off. The bloke and the drivers he brought with him were openly slagging off my car (as it was electric) and were asking lots of stupid questions about it, if i was a woman, I would have felt quite intimidated. I contacted Vanstar the following day as i don't like to leave negative reviews if an issue can be sorted out, but unfortunately, they never returned my call. When I called again the next day, the lady I spoke to said she had spoken to the appraiser and he had shown me a video (never shown me a video) and also shown me the dint in the back door (again there was no dint) There was no mention of the bad re-spray and damage to the front wing or back door, almost like there was no damage? ultimately, even if you had an immaculate vehicle with a full-service history and no problems whatsoever, expect this place to find some or dare i say make them up. Try to stand your ground or walk away.

Went to Van Star again for another company van, just the easiest of processes, quality vans, no pressure sales and very competitive prices, what more do you want ! We will be back again.

Van Star bid on my van via Motorway, they won at £18274. Happy days or so I thought!
They use an appraiser to inspect and transport the vehicles for them.
He arrived 2 hours later than the agreed time, inspected my van and said it was faultless. Then tried to get me to accept over £2k less because it was a L1, as described upon a registration number check which Van Star knew.
Please avoid complete waste of time

We bought a VW Caravelle from Alan and the process from start to finish was superb. We live 250 miles away from Leeds, but Alan described the car in detail to the point we were happy to leave a deposit. A week later we went to collect a freshly serviced, newly MOTd Caravelle with every element attended to as promised...in fact the vehicle was better than expected. A fantastic drive home followed and when we noticed the owners manual was missing, Alan sorted one immediately, no hassle. Really pleased, highly recommended, don't be put off if you don't live locally, just give them a call.

Bought a van from their vanstar section. The van has had problem after problem. When I contacted them they said they would call me back. After 3 weeks I still have not had a reply. The warranty they sold me isn't worth the paper it's written on. They told me the van had had a full service, I took the van to an independent mechanic who advised me that it most definitely had not been serviced. I have been told that the van has other issues, which I told Vanstar. I have had to go to trading standards and now in the process of taking the matter further. AVOID VANSTAR!!
