Customer service could be better.

i ordered one for a Cortina Mk1 and it was way too small & poor quality rubbish. RETURNED
for a full refund no problem.
i had to buy elsewhere
learn my lesson I would avoid if I was you.
As this company has been selling covers for a mark 1 Cortinas for 20 years you think it would fit the car perfectly ?
I've been buying covers for classic cars for over 40 years I'm quite sure I know a good quality fitted cover when I see one this cover did not meet my expectations after spending £177.

Bought the Stormguard on the basis I was buying the best outdoor car cover. It’s kept the car dry and free of bird droppings etc during this time. However, when moving the car back into the workshop for some further restoration, the time was chosen to get the cover washed. That’s when I found out just how disappointing product is. The top layer effectively delaminated and disintegrated after first wash at just 30 degrees! Only comment from company, can only be washed if in top condition?? What a ludicrous comment, if its machine washable, then its machine washable! The cover was only bought in July 2022, just out of warranty so zero comeback. Message to anyone who has bought one of these covers, get it washed before warranty expires, I imagine the covers will still delaminate, you can then at least make them replace under warranty, it’s a defect! Lastly, to be told I’d had good value for any cover over 2 years, was ridiculous. A product of this value should have better durability than just 2 years. Zero customer service, not even a suggestion or an offer for a reduction on a replacement cover. Buy at your own risk, you’ve been warned!

UPDATE: in response to the replay, you’ve effectively stated the durability is just months which again, isn’t acceptable or if you feel it is, then the 2 year warranty isn’t a warranty, it is the total life expectancy of the product which isn’t acceptable, or if you feel it is, then this should be clearly indicated in all data on your website so potential purchasers can make a better judgement on the value of the product before purchase.

When you buy a car cover billed as "storm force" you expect it to survive some winds. Bought a cover two years ago at the end of November to cover my MK2 Golf. The locking system eyelet snapped after 6 months. Not a major worry as as the cover still clipped under the car. Move forward to two years of ownership and the poor quality of this cover shines through. The storm this weekend has seen the over get Shredded from the wind. I wouldn't expect a £160 cover billed as storm force to end up in this way. Conveniently enough the cover is just out of the warranty so will be going in the bin. So a great cover for use inside. Total rubbish for outside.

To the response from the vendor. Perhaps you need to understand consumer law and fit for purpose. Why would anyone pay £160 for something to last two years? You're covers are trash and as someone else commented this one had started to flake about 6 months ago and is about as waterproof as a sieve.

Buying a Storm Force car cover means that under the sales of goods act the item should be fit for purpose. If you are telling me that the cover ripping in just over two years is acceptable then you need to update yourself on what fit for purpose means. I bought the product based on website reviews. However on closer inspection revies being left say "fast delivery" doesn't exactly state what the cover is like in two years time. So tp add again, poor quality product, does not do what it is supposed to do and lasted two years.

This is the second cover that I have bought for this Fiat X1/9. The previous one lasted almost ten years and I now use it as an indoor cover on another car. The cover is excellent quality and easy to put on and off. I have used these covers both for indoor and outdoor cars in the collection. As with any car in storage keep the battery isolated and well charged. The weather protection is good.

I recently purchased a Voyager indoor / outdoor cover for my Fiat 127.
This is a very high quality cover that fitted well and a well thought through design. Velcro straps going under the car to prevent it being blown off was a great idea. The optional security cable and lock also a nice accessory. The pockets for door mirrors also a good feature. You generally get what you pay for in life and this is a great cover for the money.

Excellent car cover. I've had this cover on my Opel Monza for a number of weeks now. It was delivered really quickly and it certainly seems to be protecting the car in what has occasionally been very rough weather.
I'm really pleased with it and hope it will save the car from the elements in the absence of a garage.

Cover is a very good quality with two straps that go underneath plus an extra security option to boot. No issues at all so far.

Great quality car cover for my Honda CR-X I went for the monsoon cover and I couldn't be happier.

Easy to fit, can be done by one person, I did even while it was quite windy weather.

The security lock is a must in my opinion and just secures the cover even more than it already is.

The cover arrived next day as advertised. I needed good cover quickly as my austin a35 was outside and windscreen rubber leaked. We had a huge amount of rain with flooding in the area. This cover has taken the pressure off preparing the garage to house the car.

You never know what you might get when you buy something online. But glad to say my indoor cover do my Nissan 350z was exactly what I was looking for. Great fit and quality product. Thanks again for your service and quality of your product 👍. Will be looking for your product for outdoor use John.

I've had the cover on my MGB for a couple of months and despite rain, sun and high winds it still looks as if I put it on yesterday. Of course time will tell but I reckon by the quality, it will outlast any other cover that I've had. I recommend Cars Covers Ltd and will no doubt purchase again
