Lovely staff super helpful. Would gave given 5 stars but I thought 6 week delivery time wasn't great. Then what do you know 12 hours later they called in administrators stole £650 of my money and then sold 25% of the company to his son. SHAMEFUL.Just feel sorry for shop floor staff, carpet fitters and anyone that lost money. Meanwhile the owner gets to live off the fat of the land drawing £300 a day in the house of Lords. SHAME ON YOU LORD HARRIS OF PECKHAM

Our experience was excellent. Anthony was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend Carpetright to anyone. Their range of carpets and other floor coverings is huge.

We were left to look around at our own pace, we were asked if we needed help but said we were just looking. As it turns out we found exactly what we needed, the sales person was extremely helpful and we placed an order.

The sales man I think called Anthony was very helpful , we gave ,measurements and choice of carpet and he did the rest. It was very quick and efficient and the price was good. The whole process was very good and that is why we keep coming back. Had laminate fitted last year. Brilliant store and great staff and fitters

Staff extremely helpful. However, when issues arose within your systems you did not have back up to enable sales to be completed. Very frustrating with three separate visits to the shop.

Had a problem with our fitting date, which was very stressful as we had tenants going in, but Zara, Sharon from Park Gate and Mark from Portsmouth we very sympathetic and resolved the issue very quickly and efficiently. Thank you guys.

Good advice and service

Our carpet was purchased and paid for on 14.02.24. Good sales advice was provided in store. There was a delay before fitting, but we weren’t unhappy with this as we were decorating the room. The carpet was fitted on 8th March. It had a black spot on it with a tuft of longer fibre clearly visible on the light coloured carpet just as you walked in through the door. The store asked for photographs which were forwarded on that day. We were warned that the returns process involved sending the photographs back to the manufacturer with other forms and it would take 10 more days for the manufacturer to get back to the store at which point the store would get back to us regarding next steps. We were not happy with the timescales involved given that the carpet was purchased on 14th Feb and all the furniture from the room was shifted around our house. The response from the store was very poor and seemed to suggest that we were being unreasonable to expect a swifter service. We all agreed the carpet was clearly damaged. The store seemed to abdicate responsibility for the delay saying it was down to the manufacturers and there was nothing they could do to speed things up. We asked that they would make every effort to sort this for us as quickly as possible.
We then heard nothing from them. On Mon 18th March we phoned to check on progress and were told that they had heard nothing from the manufacturer and that it was 10 working days that we needed to wait. We again asked if they could chase this. We heard nothing further and on 22nd March we visited the store again. On that day a supervisor agreed to chase the manufacturer as they had still not heard anything. On our insistence they further agreed to order a new carpet, which had not yet been done. We finally had the carpet fitted on Fri 29th March. Even then we had had to contact the fitter directly to check he was actually coming as we again heard nothing further from the store.
We are happy with our new carpet now but the whole process was painful and in our view the customer service following the faulty goods being delivered was not good. Beware should you have any problems with your purchased carpets !
