I bought a car battery from this company, which failed within the 3-year Guarantee period. I have been phoning, emailing and writing to the company for well over a month now, seeking a replacement, but all I get in return is a further standard acknowledgment - with a further Request Number to add to my growing collection.

It is unusual to have to report such shoddy treatment in this day and age, where good customer service is usually the norm, but clearly Car Parts 4 Less don’t deem customer satisfaction to be important.

Given that my vehicle is currently off the road, I need to secure a replacement battery sooner rather than later, and will now have to purchase a replacement (at around £165 for a Start Stop version) from a - hopefully more ethical - supplier. I will, however, be reporting the company to Trading Standards for their failure to honour their Guarantee.

Looking at other reviews posted on this site, it would seem that I am not alone in complaining about this company. I will never order from them again - and would advise any prospective customer to think long and hard before using them.

Wow I hadn't realised how bad things were with this company. I placed my order also over 3 weeks ago and you guessed it
It hasn't turned up. No response from emails or telephone call. I have now contacted my bank to get the money back.
I will never deal with this company again and suggest likewise to anyone thinking of using them .

Do not use this company.
I ordered a battery but made a mistake. Immediately informed them by email to cancel my order.
The however took my money.
No response to email
Emailed again no response
E mailed again no response
If you look at all the other reviews it would appear that this is their business model take money don’t deliver any customer service
Do not return money
Obviously they are in breach of consumer law.
The next thing unless I get repaid by the 1st May is to report them to trading standards.
I hope others do the same
My recommendation is to look for parts online but not their sister company Eurocarparts as I have had similar problems
eBay prices are similar or slightly more expensive but you will get delivery or money returned

Cancelled order yet still delivered

ordered some parts on the 20th april, immediately decided to cancel as found cheaper elsewhere. was 176 in the que so I I tried the next day. again about 150 in the que however I waited. cancelled the order on the 21st april. promised a refund within 3-5 working days. then on the 25th my items that I had cancelled got delivered. got through to them on the 28th and they advised that they now wont refund me the money until they receive the goods which they didn't even know about in the first place. now out of money for 2 weeks. will see what happens

bought a battery which had a 3 yr warranty, two years on, it will not hold its charge, have contacted this company via their online email SIX times, have yet to receive a reply, as this company is ignoring the problem i have reported this to trading standards.
do not buy from this company, they gladly take your money, but if you have a warranty claim they will just ignore you.
did have a laugh reading all the false ***** reviews on thier site. in other words,"ALL LIES"

They answered my review stating they would ring me to solve my problem by the end of close today. Surprise surprise no response.
Are you going to contact me Tom. I want a full refund please or I will take this matter up with my bank as fraud

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a car Bosch battery on 4th April. Still no battery despite chasing several times and a car which is unusable sitting on the drive, so I am unable to get to the chemist or shops. Andrea Davis, Escalation Manager - please can you resolve this situation? Ref 121-00000940574.

I ordered on March 28th on APRIL 18th still not received any thing spent hours on chat line and sending email no response then I made a remark on trust pilot about it also reported it to pay pal I then go phone call from Andrea Davis Escalations Manager offering a full refund which I got and then offered that when my original order does arrive it will be FREE OF CHARGE with tracking number it does no respond and i have had no delivery WHAT CAN YOU SAY does that help people in the same situation

Ordered parts and waited patiently for 10 days, delivery finally arrives only to find wrong parts delivered. Have phoned, emailed and tried online chat but no response.
They use Covid19 as an excuse for slow delivery and lack of communication but check their reviews from last year....Still the same. Avoid this company at all costs, You have been warned.

Appalling. Spent alot of money with them. 3 weeks later received nothing. Cant get through to them by phone, email or live chat.

Appalling customer service, after 4 weeks my order still hasn’t arrived. They don’t answer the phone & don’t reply to e mails . There happy to take your money though. No surprise my request for a refund has been ignored. Save your self time stress and money and don’t buy from this company

Awful service, made my order on 3rd April and only one item delivered out of 6 yet my account says all items were dispatched.
Needless to say I was going to sign to say I had all items so driver took that one item away again. Cant get through to them, been on hold for one hour 4-5 times now and no reply to emails.

Continuing to take orders but they can't even handle the ones they have. I understand times are hard but you need to understand your limits. I get no response from any emails and have had to resort to opening a PayPal claim to get my money back.

Returned my item and they received it 3rd of April and had no response at all phone call cuts off online chat just disconnects once its my turn useless and I need this money 😠

AVOID< AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Ordered parts showing as in stock, three days later not heard anything, tried to call and was on hold for 55 minutes before abandoning the call, live chat was not working, then they sent a message saying a missed live chat!! Had previously had the same issue on Euro Car parts(same company, but I thought I'd give them a second chance... more fool I) and was left waiting for a part for over three weeks that never came into stock, they kept telling me they were waiting for the delivery, not prepared to go there again so have now cancelled the order and am informing everyone i know that they take your money then don't send the goods or blame it being a back order and not in stock, but then take over 10 days to refund your money!!

They will blame their failings on the covid outbreak, but this is not the case its purely down to bad management and lousy (if any) stock control.

This is the same company as carparts4less.co.uk so do not be fooled.

AVOID at all costs unless you are prepared to have a long wait for your items.!!

Really poor, no communication via any means, order eventually cancelled, case raised with PayPal then I get notification, the goods are shipping but no longer required. Sent by not signed for by DHL, (not their fault at all) so I cannot refuse them.

Goods ordered 28/3, now 16/4.
Lessons learnt !

Waiting 2 weeks for an email response for returning a fuel filter. Waited 15-20 minutes on hold and no answer. Disgraceful company. 121-00000933559 order number.

Awful! Product hasn’t arrived but company have taken money!! Can’t get through to customer services as nobody picking up - other things bought in the same day from different company arrived already

Genuinely absolutely terrible service! Ordered one from Amazon which arrived to very next day. Ordered one from Carparts4less and it too 2 weeks!!! Communication non existent, literally hours spent on the phone with no answer at all ( numerous calls of 15-20 minutes as after that time a message came on saying “ due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to take your call” ) no response to any emails, eventually a reply after 12 days on messenger! Not good enough at all! Regardless of the Covid19 situation Amazon still did a perfect job, Will never order from Carparts4less again! Save yourself the time and headache and order elsewhere!

Placed an order on 30th March, they took my money and I have not received my order still, sent many emails and made phone calls, used the chat service but nothing, I know it's difficult times at the moment but I received every other order I have placed with other companies within a few days of placing the order. Not impressed and wont be using again! So I got an email from DHL to say they are delivering my order, it arrive 16th April with an invoice for spray paint and anti freeze which was what I ordered but in the box was brake and clutch cleaner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not impressed to say the least, now trying to contact them again to sort this out but not much point as no one answers! Never again!
