Though I was not happy with the initial sales experience but later when I had issues, the team managed the situation well. They were transparent in their approach. They managed the issues raised by me well.
Rejected car and received a full refund
I purchased a Volkswagen ID.3 from car giant. Unfortunately the infotainment system had an intermittent fault. This became apparent on the drive home. It kept rebooting. I videoed the fault and sent the video to customer services at Car Giant rejecting the car and requesting my money back as I was entitled to under the Consumer Protection Act which gives you 30 days to request a full refund on a faulty product. Car Giant were very responsive. They contacted me the next day. Booked the car into their workshop the following day. Located the fault within 24 hours and offered me a software update. I rejected this and requested a full refund. Car Giant confirmed the next day I would get a full refund. I received my money back within 5 working days minus £700 which was withheld until I sent in the V5 DVLA form. I received the remaining £700 within a few days of posting the V5 form to Car Giant.
Throughout the whole process I was in contact with Annabel in in the after sales team at Car Giant. She was really helpful throughout the process and responsive to all my questions both by email and on the phone. She is excellent. All the staff were helpful and polite. It was really unfortunate but the whole situation was handled promptly and with the utmost professionalism. I would certainly use Car Giant again.
Got what we wanted
Mohamed was great - sorted us out with plenty of viewings and a couple of test drives. Was not pushy with anything and we feel like we got a good deal. Would buy from here again.

Not a good experience
Not a good buying experience this time round, lack of knowledge in vehicles, staff members just stood around not giving a care in the world of their surroundings, car was dirty on purchase, no after sale care.
Horrible experience overall seemed like I were doing a dodgy deal.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Car Giant. This is now my third car purchased from them since I first became a customer in 2022 and I have never experienced such poor treatment.
Since purchasing this current vehicle in August of last year(2025) it has developed multiple faults. Although I have returned it for repairs several times, new issues continue to arise. Most recently, another problem occurred just two days ago over the weekend.
When I contacted the aftercare team, I found them to be unhelpful and, frankly, quite rude. I was told over the phone that this situation is “what happens” when you do not agree to purchase their maintenance package. I find this completely unacceptable. With my previous cars, I never received reminders about MOTs or servicing, despite paying for services that were supposed to include such support. It feels like a complete lack of care for customers.
The car is now unusable and parked outside my home. As a community nurse, I rely heavily on my vehicle to carry out my job and support others. Being left without a working car has put me in a very difficult position, as I am currently unable to work.
Overall, I feel let down, frustrated, and deeply dissatisfied with the level of service provided. I would not recommend purchasing a car from Car Giant based on this experience.
