Friendly, helpful and not pushy

I purchased a refrigerator from this store, and while I was initially excited, the overall experience ended up being very frustrating and disappointing.

To be fair, it was my mistake to order a product without seeing it in person, as it was not available to view in-store. However, when I realized it wasn’t the right fit and wanted to make an exchange, the process turned out to be extremely complicated. At the store, I was told they couldn’t help me and that everything had to be handled through email.

I already knew I wanted to request a change, but by the time I tried, the website no longer allowed me to modify the delivery. The refrigerator was delivered very early, at 6:30 AM, which made it even harder to contact the store beforehand. When the delivery team arrived, I told them I wanted to exchange it, and they advised me to contact the store later when it opened—but that ended up being pointless, as the store still could not assist me.

After finally getting a response via email, I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee in order to make the exchange because the product was “out of the box.” The issue is that the refrigerator was delivered to me without a box. I explained this clearly, and that I had not used or even moved the product—it is still in the exact same place where it was left on delivery day.

I wanted to exchange it for a smaller model that was the same price and was willing to pay the delivery fee for the exchange, but I was still told that the restocking fee would apply. I understand such fees if a product has been opened by the customer, but that was not the case here.

I purchased two items from this store and only wanted to exchange one. The salesperson who helped me at the time of purchase was kind, but I felt that once the issue came up, there was no real support and I was simply told nothing could be done. The delivery team was also polite, but they were not able to guide me properly, as they directed me back to the store. The email support team, while likely just following policy, made the process feel inflexible.

Additionally, the invoice I received afterward was confusing and unclear, which only added to the frustration. The lack of direct communication—everything being handled through slow email exchanges with responses taking at least a full business day—made resolving the issue unnecessarily difficult.

In the end, I chose not to pay additional fees, and continue with this back and forth. So I kept the refrigerator even though it does not fully fit my space or meet my needs. This experience left me disappointed, especially since I decided to try this store instead of going with a retailer I was already familiar with.

Sometimes you try new places to see if they’re worth it—unfortunately, in this case, I did not have a good experience. I personally would not purchase from here again due to the lack of flexibility and customer support when it came to exchanges.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store.

From the moment I arrived, the service was unwelcoming. The staff member who attended us was rude and said he didn’t have time to show the available microwaves. His attitude came across as “buy it if you want, otherwise go somewhere else,” which is not what you expect as a customer.

The issues didn’t end there. The refund process was equally frustrating. I did not receive my refund within the promised timeframe, and when I contacted customer service, the experience was poor. The representative I spoke to kept repeating “5 to 7 days” without actually addressing my concern or offering any reassurance. The tone was unhelpful and dismissive.

Overall, the combination of rude in-store service and unprofessional customer support made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this store based on my experience.

The sales people are very friendly

I went into the store and asked for an open box built in microwave, the sales rep suggested one. I went another day and purchased it. When I brought it home for my contractor to set it up, he said this is not a built in microwave, it’s just a regular one. When I contacted the store they forwarded my call to customer service, customer service department did nothing, said it’s final sale we can’t return or refund it now. Even though it was the sales representatives responsibility to give me the right product. Never purchasing from them again.

Prompt efficient service from selection purchase delivery

I purchased a mircrowave oven last minute and needed it delivered the next day. They were able to arrange it immediately. The delivery service was amazing. The gave us a window for expected delivery time and they brought up exactly where we needed it.

Good experience I had for showing room and delivering my washing machine, installation.

We had already done our research and knew what product we wanted to buy - the exact replacement for a stacked washer/dryer for our condominium. We went to CAS primarily for the free delivery, installation and removal of the old unit. The salesperson, Gurmehar Singh Chhabra was great in showing us a unit, discussing the price and confirming the terms of delivery. He was open and honest about everything he said. Everything ended up happening just as he promised.

I found the perfect refrigerator for my needs for an excellent price. Service at the store was very helpful. The delivery was very efficient & well executed. I am very happy with the results of my purchase.
