"canada direct often ships same day" is a third-party vendor for Amazon and seems to be highly resistant to providing returns. The Rhino-Rack I ordered did not fit my crossbars and to return it, I had to pay both shipping and a restocking fee. I am out over fifty dollars and Amazon A-Z Claim did nothing about it. My advice? If you can buy elsewhere online, do so.

This third seller does not provide prepaid returns and has poor customer service.

Terrible customer service. Make it incredibly complicated to return items and you get charged an arm and I leg. I bought stuff through Amazon, it got cancelled outside of my control, they still sent the items and charged me twice for them. I've been trying to explain it and get help and they've been fighting me tooth and nail. Even once they got my return, they refunded less than half

My return on a duplicate unopened order is short by more than $100.00.
Very poor customer service.

Scam to charge you a restocking fee on products you order

Last time my order was sent to the wrong address as I was staying somewhere for the winter months and they mailed it to my home not as requested. This time they waited three weeks to call me to tell me that my prescription has expired all of eight days worth of time But now three weeks have gone by before they let me know so to get my prescription filled will take six weeks eight weeks who knows terrible customer service.

Horrible customer service, stay away from this company

Horrible seller, first it says often ships same day , well mine shipped two days after the order. Then there was no tracking info sent, I had requested that information twice over 2 different days before I got tracking, then I look at tracking to find out that even though it was supposed to be here on the 8th or 9th. Today is the 9th and according to tracking they just received the shipping label. So I needed this for tomorrow but because of very horrible service they won’t be here. I would not recommend this company, “Canada Direct” to my anyone and I will never buy another product from them. If it’s not here soon I will refuse the order and contact my credit card company because of their screw up I’m not paying restocking fees or shipping, it was their screw up. I would avoid this company all together.

Don't back what they sell after 30 days tell you to go after the manufacturer

This is a fake site. It appears to be part of the Canadian government when it is nothing to do with it. I am a senior citizen on a limited income and I completed a PR renewal application online with what I thought was the Canadian government site. Two months later I received the application back in the mail, there were 2 errors in the application (my fault) and I now have to resubmit. One of the errors was they (government) didn’t get the payment of $50. As I had paid $109 by Visa this was confusing, now I realize the $109 was for Canada direct !!
This fraudulent company did NOTHING for my money (quite a lot for a pensioner) they obviously didn’t even check my application which was sent directly to Government so they can’t even say the money was an agency fee.
This place took my money and did nothing for me - all using a phony government pretense. I think it’s time our government stopped them from stealing our $

They called me in South Africa and asked for a R 5000 wich is $400.

Do not use this company. Bunch of cowboys based in Israel just trying to take your money.

They contacted me today, July 7th, and after explaining their services she asked for 400$ payment, everything I tried to tell her that I need to think about it first, she started talking about how great their services are and asked for my credit information over the phone, I refused naturally, the she send me an email to complete the payment online while she is still on the phone, she insisted so hard which I always consider to be a red flag, anyways I hung up and she tried to call me again but I never answered.

Deeply disappointed of using their services and falling for their "sweetly pushing" pursuit of going through with the payment. This "report" for which they charge 400 USD is a crappy couple of pages made in a matter of 10 min while they talk to you by phone, and it is actually smth one can do for free. There is absolutely nothing unique, requiring the level of expertise or exclusivity that this firm provides. I asked for a cancelation of service and payment refund, basically just after I hang the phone up, and before I have received anything from them yet. To what I've got a mocking answer of "Why would I want to do that". Of course the firm has never made a refund, even after dealing with the bank and exchanging tens of e-mails with these people.
I deeply regret of not having goolged them before. Not only their web-site is registered in Israel (and before it was in Scottsdale Arizona US.), they are newly registered in Spain in Barcelona, just in the beginning of 2021, whilst they do operate from at least 2020... so that means they have to re-register this firm periodically when because of the level of claims they star getting problems.
Bottom line: mistake that has cost me a 400 USD for a couple of pages one can make for free. Lost time and energy with the bank trying to cancel the payment and getting new credit card (that is essential for not to get robbed by them again). And of course emotional toll and time loss in communication with Canada Direct. These people really deserve to get frauded and robbed the same one day. They haven't contacted me after I asked for refund to complete their "services", so all their promises of help getting through all the was, even in getting a job is pure rabbish.
As official immigration site of Canada says these fraud companies shall be reported in Canadian Anti-Fraud Center, and since they are legally a Spanish company - in respective police department of Spain as well. So strongly advise to everyone who has suffered from their actions to do so.

Called me up during office hours. After brief pleasantries, we had an unexpected interview. After asking for basic information (and some rather strange questions like my estimated income) he said that it all checks out according to their system. I more than qualify for their immigration requirements - but it went south pretty fast after that.

He asked for my credit card info, 400 dollars to process application forms - on the phone. There is no company, corporation, legal entity in the world who would do that.

So of course, I didn't give it. He then insisted again to have my credit card info. I still didn't give it. I said that it would be better to get back to me in a couple of hours. After all, he needed my updated CV et al too.

In that 10 minutes, the caller managed to go from friendly to aggressive insisting that I give my credit card details - again, over the phone.

He then told me if I'm not serious then he'll go to the next client, because there are thousands of applicants - and then he put down the phone.

Scam company. Scam tactics. These people deserve to rot.

P.S. The official immigration website of Canada (www cic gc ca) lists them as frauds. Canadian companies usually associated with immigration/government have .CA at the end, not .COM.

When the vehicle was delivered to us it was a real mess, very dirty inside and out, orange pieces of tape were applied everywhere in the aft section, dirty fingerprints were clearly visible all over the upholstery, the dashboard, the leather seats, and damaged attachment bracket in the truck on top of that the aft window wiper was missing.
