I never write these kinds of reviews, but the care, patience, good will and general excellence of Kerry McGahey has prompted me to write today. My mother passed away and the process of shipping her furniture to me in the US was difficult and a little disorganized. Kerry worked with me through it all - and always with so much kindness and understanding. I am so grateful for all her help. Thank you!

I’m so pleased I chose Cadogan Tate for their move and storage services. The removal crew were brilliant - very punctual and efficient, carefully wrapping and loading all my home into the storage containers. I think they must be masters at Tetris! Prior to my move, the estimator and move manager were great - very responsive and organised. I’d definitely recommend using Cadogan Tate.

Brilliant efficient crews but the back office attitude and arrogance is something else… will never use them again, just not worth the big premium they charge.

We recently had our goods -fragile glass- moved and we have worked with MANY delivery companies - Cadogan Tate was by far the most professional. I felt like I was in great hands from the start. As experts in what they do, they went above and beyond my expectations. I'd highly recommend them anyone with high end moving needs!

Moved my entire household from London to Monaco in September 2021 and Cadogan Tate were fantastic. I was incredibly nervous about my furniture and art being packed and transported, which led me to research obsessively for a company I could trust. It was my first time using Cadogan Tate but I believed I was making the right call after the initial correspondence. They heard out my concerns and reassured me of their standards in terms of handling and care and also suggested I order crates for the artworks which they could make up (I felt they received such a request often!)
There was one hiccup along the way, one of the crates were too small for the artwork on the move day but they made a plan and it arrived in one piece.
All in all, it was a seamless process. The wonderful team of guys took instruction well, packed everything in 1 day and our shipment arrived 2 days later.
Very happy and will absolutely use them in future!

Very helpful from start to finish and let us add a couple of items afterwards and arranged picking them up which was great. Kerry was always quick to reply, very friendly and efficient.

Highly professional, polite, considerate to my new neighbours. Can't recommend enough.

The worst, and a complete bruch off from the management with regards every failure at every step.
use any other company - not this one. The low rating is for a reason.

I truly hope this review helps others not to experience the lack of care, resentment and disinterest shown by this company despite the excellent social skills of the initial surveyor providing a quote and their persuasive marketing of being "art movers" for museums. There may be one type of service for the museums and another for residential.

Despite the enormous price tag of £8000 paid for moving, many beautiful and beloved antique objects and art works handed down through my family failed to arrive, many broken. The comments made by some of the crew were unkind and lacked respect. The presence of ill-will, inexperience and ignorance amongst the crew was sufficient to cause intentional damage.

Please avoid the unnecessary costs, distress and difficulties that will ensue from using this company. They are persuasive initially when quoting but the promises are superficial.

Though you may be lucky enough to be assigned a couple of experienced and kind handlers, it will not be sufficient to deliver a service that other movers routinely deliver for a quarter of the price. In my experience their interest lies only in money.

The objects that were handed down through my family have been transformed into junk and even a year later as the possibility of moving into a new home looms, I will be unable to bring those things with me that furnish a house with the feeling of familiarity as they are irreparable.

Nineteen months later, the insurance company has still not settled the claim and the loss insurers dragged their heels so that the objects broken by them had to be moved by another company (Ants) who not only were kind, respectful and reasonable but did not break anything at all during the next move.

Cadogan will be Storing our furniture for delivery to Spain in 2123.. the packing of our belongings was expertly wrapped with care and efficiency. The men were all polite and courteous …. Cannot fault them so far…. Happily recommend based on our excellent experience so far.

Very nervous about my move, especially when at the last minute I needed storage. I did not have to worry the office staff put everything in place very quickly, my home was removed to store without a hitch and I am now settled in my new home. Crew were very helpful throughout. I was very pleased I used them

Had a really bad experience with this company and I am afraid I would not recommend using their services. The office team didn't really seem to care about any of my concerns and simply seemed to focus their decision making on finances rather than what is right for a customer.

An awful experience from start to finish. The coordination team is just hopeless; they forgot to suspend parking bays in the first instance. Ridiculously expensive with hidden charges. The admin team is also unresponsive and took months to get a refund for storage charges. I have attempted to contact Head of Client Services who has refused to call me (I have left three message) back and has not responded to my emails either (I have sent four chaser emails). It has been over 3 weeks. Don't use this company.

Used Cadogan Tate as recommend by my decorator for logistics and deliveries. They were good as far as the move but forgot items many times causing them to make extra trips and charge extra money. Also their pricing is not transparent and they are huge rip off. Sent bills for tens of thousand of dollars after everything completed without telling pricing up front and getting approvals. I then negotiated a final payment with them and then after they continue to send me additional bills for thousands of dollars. I do not recommend you ever use them. They are very shady with their billing practices.

Very mixed experience. Had multiple locations for move and some packing crews expert and careful and others just chucked things in a box resulting in breakage and damage. Overall had c. £1,000 of damaged or destroyed goods. Then had to chase and chase to get payment for damage. Despite paying 100s of pounds for full value insurance was told "do not have an open cheque book" and made every aspect of the claim difficult, including complaining about delivery costs to get a chest of drawers sent to a restorer that were their own company delivery quotes! Refused to reimburse for a £150 lantern despite cost of collection, repair and redelivery being greater than replacement cost. An incredibly time consuming and frustrating process.

This moving company, London based, costs a lot but is worth every penny. As a friend of mine said, “you won’t remember the cost, but you will remember if they destroy your favourite artwork or furniture.” She was absolutely correct. Cadogan Tate are the experts for moving nice things and art. They carefully looked after everything. The move was complex because it involved multimedia art of different shapes and weights, and there were many stairs and narrow passages to navigate. These guys are consummate professionals — no guesswork, they use the measuring tape and tell you the possible and the impossible. But seriously they also did a little of the impossible for me. A great company and I would not use anyone else. Close your eyes, transfer the funds and enjoy the knowledge you will have no worries with your move . And also — if you do have pesky stairs and narrow passages, they are also expert with using the hoist companies — but they actually saved us the cost and hassle of doing so with a little ingenuity!!
