Our Burley Hollywell wood burner is amazing and it is a highly efficient piece of kit, providing you use it properly!
We spoke to Chris Astley-Stone at Burley in Oakham, he was so knowledgeable, nice to talk to and very helpful despite being at near closing time on a Friday.
The support he provided was fantastic and we began using the burner so much more efficiently. He sent us all the information via email including a supplier for spares.
Great support and excellent customer service!

Had an issue with high CO emissions
Had an issue with high CO emissions, engineer condemned flueless gas fire.
Contacted your Chris and he was very helpful in putting the engineer right, 👍
Fire has now been passed and we'll be using it tonight.

Your speaker was clear and direct but I am still confused as he insisted that
the draft gap should be at the back / rear at the top of the fire but we have a definite one inch gap at the front. The top plate is firmly in place.

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your feedback. We believe you spoke with Chris in Technical, and an email was sent across, but we’re sorry to hear there is still some confusion regarding the setup. To clarify, your stove actually has two separate baffle components that work together. The Lower Stainless Steel Baffle: This sits further down and is designed with a gap at the back. The Upper vermiculite Baffle: This sits above the steel one and must have a gap at the front. Please email or call Chris back directly; he’ll be more than happy to talk you through it step-by-step or look at a photo to ensure everything is positioned perfectly for you.

My only concern is the stainless steel mesh on the Baflle cannot be purchased from stove and solar
I have the new baffle which i purched a few years ago which caters for the mesh by simply slide /bend into position

Regarding your concern about the stainless steel mesh for your baffle: please don't worry that it isn't listed on one specific site. While we don't retail directly, you can purchase spare parts for your stove from your retailer or contact us for more information.

I spoke to Chris in tech. support and even though we have not bought our stove yet he took the time to give me loads of useful advice. We are moving from Bristol to a little bungalow in Ross on Wye and are so excited to finally get a fire to sit beside in the cold months of the year.

Burley Bradgate a great piece of kit
We purchased a Burley Bradgate a few years ago. What a great piece of kit. State of the art in stoves. Kicks out loads of heat with very few logs a very efficient stove. The aftersales support is spot on. Nothing is too much trouble. All advice is carefully explained with patience and understanding for the less technical. British made which is a bonus.
