Greece in Depth with Bunnik Tours is certainly one for the history buffs. You go to all the major historical sites, get shown the highlights with expert guides, and all in a small group exclusive environment. Combined with excellent hotels, conveniently located in the centre of cities, with special cultural and culinary experiences included. Tour is great value for money!

Great tour and guides. When they say Greece in depth it’s exactly as stated . Good mix of days to do your own thing or relax . Can be exhausting for some and standing for long times and stairs can be challenging especially in the heat as it was 38 deg in some areas but so glad I went back to experience Greece again . Group size is spot on with room to spread out on the bus and I was lucky to travel with a great group . I would look at other bunniks tours in the future .

Loved Greece. Greeks are friendly and helpful and we always felt safe.it was great travelling through mainland Greece and then to a couple of islands. Probably a few too many historical sights for me ( but everything is explained in the itinerary) but I really enjoyed the trip. All the hotels were good and the included meals were great. I love that the hotels are very central and it is easy to explore on your own in your free time. Great starting Thessaloniki and we got there a day early and the hotel was near shops, restaurants, waterfront and the old markets. The hotel in Nafpaktos was across the road from the sea so we had our first swim there- very easy. Crete was really good. Photos - view from our room in Thessaloniki , view in Nafpaktos, Crete

An excellent introduction to the archeological wonders of Greece! Hotels were well located & exceeded our expectations. A relatively small group size (16 passengers) meant we were quickly in and out of attractions and got to know each other well.

This was a magnificent experience. Our tour guide (Iossif Serafimidis) was wonderfully informed, attentive and extremely personable. The group of 20 were a perfect size and great company. Accomodation was top flight and bus was roomy and comfortable ( I’m a large unit) My wife and I are already booked for the Italy & Malta trip for September 2026. We are delighted to have found Bunniks. No need to look further.

We have just returned from a fabulous 20 Day Greece in Depth tour with Bunnik. The tour was well organised, professionally run by our wonderful tour guide, Joseph. We visited many archaeological sites, bustling cities and seaside towns. There were wine and olive oil tasting experiences and enough free to time to enjoy locations at our leisure. The accommodation was good with the final destination of Santorini a nice way to end the trip. Would highly recommend Bunnik to anyone. We have now done 4 tours with them and already booked for next year.

This tour was fantastic. It started from the north and finished in the south visiting many ancient sites and other interesting places. It is perfectly paced so that you don’t get tired. Our guide, Marita, was wonderful. She is both very caring and professional. Our bus driver, Christos, was the best. He was prepared to change if the situation demanded it and did his best to stop as close to where we embarked as possible.

A wonderful overview of the Greek history, mythology & culture. Starting in Thessaloniki then travelling through key historical/archaeological areas, we always had fabulous informative local guides & plenty of time to explore further with the built in free half days. Our tour manager Mia was approachable,knowledgeable, fun and caring of our group. Hotels and food options were always excellent. Bunnik’s flexible arrival & departure times meant we could add personal travels to the tour at the beginning & end of our trip. We have done 3 trips with Bunnik now and will travel with them again!

Bunnik's tour Greece in Depth featured an excellent and comprehensive itinerary which covered all of the major cities and major archaeological sites on mainland Greece, Crete and Santorini. Apart from the sites, we also visited wineries, olive oil farms and factories a vine leave farm and sampled the produce of these facilities. We had a superb tour director, Mia, who provided a huge amount of information about Greece and its culture and ensured that our every need was met. All hotels were of a very good standard and very well located. The site guides were knowledgeable and all spoke excellent English. We travelled in well appointed and spacious coaches. The tour group being restricted to 20 people was also a bonus. The tour was well paced with most stays being at least 2 days in the same location and free days were sprinkled across the itinerary which enabled people to rest or see museums or sites that were not included in the tour. I booked directly through Bunnik and their travel consultant Vicki was excellent, assisting me with a number of matters not directly related to the tour. Superlatives Galore! I have just returned from this super splendid Greece in Depth tour with Bunnik. Every day was a genuinely magical day & every day I pondered on how beautifully balanced the experiences were. Just the best combinations of amazing ancient sites & historical & contemporary cultural visits. Our numerous lunch & dinners were such a treat with the piece de resistance being our Santorini sunset dinner overlooking the caldera. Fabulous trip, saw many ancient sites and museums, excellent tour director (thanks Christina!) and great company. Some suggestions for the next trip: a later trip (even in late Sep-Oct, everywhere was still crowded, the weather remained warm). An evening of folk/Greek music and dancing, so we could dance Zorba the Greek (yes, it's kitsch, but you only do it once). The occasional hotel with a guest laundry would be much appreciated. The guide to recite the Anzac Ode at the war cemetery on Crete. Time on guided visits to actually take it all in and appreciate it, rather than simply rushing through to get to the next site, with the local guide talking non-stop.

If you want to see Greece properly with all its ancient history this is the tour for you. You visit many archaeological sites on mainland Greece and you are immersed into the culture of Greece. This was a fantastic trip. There was so much to see. Lots of special experiences were included. Hotels were all great. It’s a small group and as well as having a tour guide throughout the whole trip who was fabulous, at each site you visit you have an expert guide who gives you the history of each site. Bunniks never fail on their tours. This was our 6th tour with them and we will continue to travel with them.
